Lump in Abdomen During Fourth Month of Pregnancy
I am in fourth month of pregnancy. Sometimes I feel a lump like thing in my abdomen which goes with time. It's a hard structure which moves and gradually disappears

Gynecologist/Obstetrician
Answered on 8th Aug '24
Your belly tightening is likely a Braxton Hicks contraction. These tightenings start your body preparing for birth. It happens when your abdomen contracts, and then relaxes. Braxton Hicks can begin during pregnancy's fourth month. Although normal, ensure you stay hydrated, and rest if needed. If discomfort persists or intensifies, inform your gynecologist.

Experiencing irregular periods and prolonged heavy bleeding can be concerning, but it is important to understand that various factors can contribute to this issue, including hormonal imbalances or stress. How to remove pimples from vegina
Female | 22
Vaginal pimples are caused by a variety of factors such as hormonal changes, product irritation, or hair and other impurities which eventually clog our pores. Classic symptoms include redness, swelling, and burning with the Pimples. The best way to get rid of the pimples is to develop a regime of cleanliness, to wear light, and to use gentle soaps. Topical over-the-counter treatments are not written, but one has to be very careful in using them. When the lumps last, change, or bring severe discomfort, please consult a gynecologist.

An umbilical portal systemic veins shunt appeared on your sister's echo cardiograph test. This condition affects blood flow in the baby's body, potentially leading to encephalopathy - a problem causing developmental delays. Speaking to a pediatric heart specialist is crucial. They may advise close monitoring during pregnancy and after birth, ensuring the best outcome for your sister and the baby. Early detection and proper management significantly impact the situation.

My periods was delay for 2 months today morning I checked my pregnancy test the result was negative may I know the reason why I got negative.i have thyroid level is 3.54
Female | 29
It's quite usual for one to be worried in cases where a period is missed especially when the pregnancy tests done are negative. Consequently, thyroid levels may sometimes affect your menstrual cycle. When the levels are up to 3.54, they do not pose much danger though they could still result in irregular periods. Also, stress, weight changes, and hormonal imbalances can lead to this irregularity too. However, you need not worry about this stage if it stops here but should see a gynecologist if it persists.

I took ipill yesterday, my doubt is not ovulation after taking ipill, can i get pregnant if ipill's dose leave my body
Female | 19
The pill works by ovulation inhibition, which decreases the chances of getting pregnant. Ovulation will return to normal after the pill is no longer in the body. If you experience any odd symptoms or have any worries it's always a good idea to speak to a gynecologist to be safe.

Elevated prolactin. All other hormones are normal. Periods are regular but I can get pregnant.
Female | 33
Occasionally, high prolactin levels may occur even if other hormone levels are normal. This can interfere with becoming pregnant. Symptoms might include producing breast milk when not nursing. Causes could be stress, certain medications or a problem in the brain. One solution might be taking drugs that decrease prolactin. It is very important to have it checked by a gynecologist.

Please answer this question. I had an intercourse on oct 24th which Includes only anal penetration around 20 sec with no ejaculation at all . No contact with vagina at all.she had her bleedings on Nov 8th ,dec 6th,jan 3rd and Feb 2nd and last for 3+ days. Did urine pregnancy test on Dec 30 with Evening urine and showed negative. And on Jan 29th( 13+ weeks after intercourse ) did an ultrasound scan at a small clinic and they said no pregnancy is identified. Can I believe the results ?. Do I need any another scan. I'm conserning about cryptic pregnancy. Please give me a clear answer and provide some peace to my mind.
Male | 20
Based on your detailed information, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant, especially since you have had regular menstrual cycles and negative pregnancy tests. The ultrasound conducted 13 weeks after the event further supports this. Cryptic pregnancies are rare and typically present with symptoms like missed periods, but you have had normal bleeding. If you remain concerned, it's reasonable to consult a gynecologist to address any lingering worries.

Female | 19
Periods sure can be puzzling sometimes. Those spots on your undies could mean it's starting. Brown or pinkish when you wipe often happens at the start or finish of your cycle. Stress can mess with timing too. Stay calm, note what's happening, and maybe chat with a gynecologist if you're unsure.

I had sex with my boyfriend without protection ( 2 days after my period) ! Then took norix pills instantly .Now it's 33th day. I am not getting my period
Female | 21
It's normal to feel worried about this, but let's break it down. Missing a period after taking emergency contraception like Norix is common. It can mess with your cycle. Stress and hormonal changes can also delay periods. Symptoms may include bloating, breast tenderness, and mood swings. If you're concerned, try a home pregnancy test. Take a deep breath and give your body some time to regulate itself.

I had intercourse last month and I got my periods after 4 days of the intercourse is there a chance to get pregnant
Female | 20
Having intercourse can get a woman pregnant even if the period comes a few days later. Signs of pregnancy may be a missed period, fatigue, or breast tenderness. A sperm fertilizes an egg to become pregnant. A pregnancy test at home, which you can get at a pharmacy, is the first way to find out if you're pregnant. You might want to have a conversation with a gynecologist if you're worried about these things.
