You may have a condition that is called lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer type that harms the lymphatic system, such as the spleen, lymph nodes, and other organs. Symptoms could involve enlarged spleen and lumps in the spleen, thickening of the ileal wall, and pleural effusion. Interestingly, the typical approach for lymphoma addresses therapy with radiation, chemotherapy, and sometimes surgery. It is essential to work with your doctor in order to fully investigate and then create a healthcare plan that is specifically developed for you in connection with the discovered condition.

Few subcentimetric lymph nodes are noted in left axillary region
Female | 45
When the small lymph nodes which are like little bumps show up in the armpit, they could be caused by infections such as a common cold or a cut on your arm. The nodes are part of your body's immune system and help to defend against viruses and bacteria. If the nodes are swelling or you have any discomfort, it would be a wise decision to see a doctor. They can provide suggestions for strengthening your body's resistance.

I am 22 years old and having normal diet frequently .But i don't see my muscle mass is increasing. It's like khana kha raha hui par pata nhi kaha ja raha hai. (1)Can u suggest me better diet plan in terms of increasing my muscle density. (2) Can i take whey protein powder as form of daily protein intake without doing gym ?
Male | 22
To do this, eat foods such as chicken, fish, eggs, and beans for protein. Also, have a lot of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains for your health in general. It is alright to take whey protein powder as a supplement, but it would be most effective if used with regular exercises that build muscles. Always keep in mind that working out is essential for muscle development!

I am having swollen lymph nodes in my neck since two years I have done fnac and biopsy both comes with result reactive lyphadenopathy....is it Cancer????
Female | 23
Reactive lymphadenopathy means the lymph nodes are responding to something which is not necessarily cancer. This can be caused by infections such as colds. Skin conditions can also cause them. Your doctor might want to keep an eye on them for a while or do more tests to be sure. Changes are always best recorded and communicated with a healthcare provider.

Hello I’ve been taking 25 mg atenolol for the last few months for a fast heart rate. I currently have a hemorrhoid and I want to use preparation H to relieve it. Preparation H has 0.25% of phenyleprine in it I know that can raise blood pressure. Should I still take or is there an alternative I can try?
Female | 22
Phenylephrine can raise your blood pressure and it might be unsafe for the heart if one is on atenolol already. In case you have no idea, you can use other treatments for piles that lack this drug like say witch hazel pads alternatively try out nonprescription hydrocortisone creams too. With these substitutes in mind, there won’t be any need to worry about a thing because they will still help soothe them but without affecting or changing anything about how well the medicine works for your heart condition. Nevertheless, should there still be no relief from piles after using these methods then I would advise that you talk with a healthcare professional.

My CRP(q) is 26 what medicine should i use
Male | 22
If your CRP level shows 26, it's slightly above normal. That indicates your body has inflammation. Inflammation comes from infections, injuries, or chronic conditions. To treat it, you need to address the underlying cause. Your doctor may suggest anti-inflammatory drugs or antibiotics, depending on what's causing inflammation.

I did lft test on Friday and my globulin level is 3.70 and now Tuesday after 4 days I did again lft test and globulin level is 4 I am so scared it increasing what should I do
Male | 38
A minor rise in your globulin level in the blood profile is not usually a cause of concern. Globulin is a protein in your blood that serves as a defense against infections. The levels of this protein may at times, be affected by factors such as dehydration or infections. No need to panic if you have not noticed any change in your health or you have not developed any unusual symptoms. Consume enough water and a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables. If you observe any new symptoms or if this continues, consult with your doctor for further advice.

స్త్రీ | 28
The sickle cell trait itself implies the fact that you have a gene that encodes it but not its full condition. Jaundice might result from other conditions but not from sickle cell trait. The pain on the left side where the spleen is may be a symptom of it being enlarged. See your orthodox doctor for safety reasons so you may be treated properly.

Male | 10
Based on the CBC report for your son, it reads that his red blood cell count is elevated. Sometimes, this leads to headaches. The other test results yield normal values, which is a positive thing! In my opinion, a doctor's consultation is necessary to delve more into the issue of an elevated RBC count and the occasional headaches, ensuring that the child receives proper treatment.

I had unprotected sex last in 2022, I did a hiv test last year October 2023 and tested negative,I wasn't exposed to any sexual activities,do I need to get tested again ?
Female | 26
If you had unprotected intimate relations in 2022 and your HIV test was negative in October 2023. You are not required to take another test as long as you haven't been risky since then. HIV symptoms sometimes show up late, so if you feel something out of the blue, like inexplicable weight loss or too many infections, then it's good to get tested again.
