You might be having a condition known as hyperhidrosis, a condition characterized by sweating taking place in a localized manner, that is specific body parts. Treatment for same are as follows:

Iontophoresis – your hands and feet are made to submerge in a bowl of water, with a painless electric current passing through it. Most patients need two to four sessions of 20-30 minutes each.

Botulinum toxin (Botox injections) – such injections block those nerves which trigger sweat glands. You may need several injections for effective results.

Anticholinergic drugs – Are medications which inhibit the transmission of parasympathetic nerve impulses.

ETS (Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy) – a surgical procedure which is recommended only in severe cases where other treatments may have failed. This procedure entails cutting out those nerves that send signals to the sweat glands and trigger them in the process.

Itching only on left side particular side only

Female | 34

When the itching is only on one side of your body, it might mean that something is irritant your skin. Occasionally, allergies or dermatitis that is caused by eczema can be the reasons for that. Moreover, nerve disorders or infections may be the causes. Look if you have any rashes or skin discoloration. Try to refrain from scratching as it may cause an infection. The application of a light moisturizer or a calm cream can give some relief.

I have keloid scars on my upper chest and one on the side of my stomach. Both are raised and very pigmented. I am looking for topical (non-invasive) treatment options that would reduce the appearance of the scars. I would like to understand which combination of gels and creams would work best for my goals? E.g applying silicone cream gels and layering silicone gel sheets, then using bio oil etc.

Female | 18

Keloid scars are marks that are raised and dark because of the excessive collagen. These scars can be highly annoying for people. Utilization of silicone gel or sheets will assist in the flattening and bleaching of the scars. Besides, the application of bio-oil can be even more effective in enhancing the look. Hence, the most important thing is the time and patience to stick to the treatment to be able to see the effects of it.

As asked earlier that can I exercise if having fungal infection, but now my q is after 1 month of medication my fungal infection is recovered, but due to long use of medicines , stretch marks are visible so now can I exercise..?

Male | 17

It is usual for scars to show up when you are on medication for a long time. Now that the infection is gone, you can begin working out, but you need to take it easy. Stretch marks usually disappear on their own, but applying moisturizer to your skin can help. Always keep in mind that it is your body that will determine the limits, and in case of any pain or discomfort, stop.
