Why is there pressure, buzzing, and cracking in my ear?

I blew my nose and now it feels like there is pressure on my right ear. It’s making a buzzing sound and causing me serious headache. It also feels like there is fluid in my right ear because I keep hearing a cracking and popping sound

You might have a blocked Eustachian tube or an ear infection. The pressure, buzzing, and cracking sounds are common symptoms. It's best to visit an ENT specialist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

I am 30 years old, I am facing nose dryness in summer season and also lesion, blockage, soreness in the morning. What can be the cause and what can be done to fix it?

Male | 30

You might have allergic rhinitis. That's a fancy phrase for nose allergies. Your body reacts to stuff like pollen, pet hair, and dust mites. To ease symptoms, use a room humidifier for moisture. Drink lots of water too. Saline nose sprays can relieve dryness. If home remedies don't work, see an allergy doctor. They'll help find the cause and treatment for you.

I have a pill lodged into my throat but I can breathe, and have tried many ways using water to get it out. Any suggestions?

Male | 16

Any pill lodged in the throat will start to dissolve, so rest assured it will not stay stuck for long. You can try eating bananas or fat rich foods that can slide the pill down if it has gotten attached to any part of the throat. It is less likely to cause any major problems. If the sensation persists beyond one day, please visit your ent for a video endoscopic evaluation

Hello doctor, so in 2022 I was diagnosed with typhoid in March. It was a 15-day treatment course. I made a full recovery in 1 month. Then, in July, I found 2 lymph nodes in my neck (level Il & IV), each less than 1cm. They were movable. The FNAC result was left cervical small swelling, reactive lymphoid hyperplasia. The lower one shrank a bit with meds, but today I noticed both nodes are still there and movable, just like 2 years ago. Do l need to get it checked again or is it normal?

Female | 24

Lymph nodes are small defenders in your body that help fight infections. Sometimes, they stay a little swollen even after the infection is gone. In your case, the nodes are small and movable, which is a positive sign. Since they haven’t changed in size over the past two years and aren’t causing any issues, it’s likely just your body’s way of managing past infections. However, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on them. If they grow, become painful, or new symptoms appear, it's best to get them checked again for peace of mind.

I am breast feeding a baby. For last few days i have pain in thorat and fever. I have taken erthyromycin 4 times in 2 days but its not working. Kindly siggest medicine which for throat pain ,fever which is safe during breast feeding

Female | 28

You likely have an infection in your throat, resulting in pain and fever. Since erythromycin didn't help, take acetaminophen to reduce fever, and Tylenol for throat discomfort. These medications are safe during breastfeeding. Drink plenty of fluids. Rest sufficiently. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist, for further evaluation.
