I had an accident 2020 December and till date the bone isn’t joining Why is it not healing
Male | 28
Since the accident in December 2020, you might still have a bone to heal and this could be due to the fact that other conditions may cause it such as the deficiency of blood supply to the affected area, the presence of low calcium, or infection. It is crucial to discuss an orthopedic surgeon.

What to expect 5 months after knee replacement?
Regarding what to expect 5 months after knee replacement - If there are no complications then you can work freely as per your wish.
But after knee replacement, some patients do not recover as quickly as others. Consider the following:
- Patients who conducted knee-strengthening activities before surgery have a better chance of recovering faster.
- It may take longer recovery time for those patients who are older, smoke, or have other medical concerns.
Note: Although deviations from the "normal" recovery timeframe is not always expected, but such fluctuations are usually acceptable as long as the patient, doctor, and physical therapist continue to collaborate in the pursuit of a complete recovery.

I have pain in both hands(3 inches above and below the elbows) and legs(5 inches above and below the knees). Not bone pain as I feel good if I try to restrict my blood flow. I always wear knee and elbow caps for pain relief. As far I remember I'm suffering from this pain for almost 13-14 years. Currently, I'm 20 years, I'm was being told it was due to the growing stage. Earlier I had vitamin D level 7 but now it is 30 but still, the pain is not gone. I have pain almost daily, I will feel lucky I don't have pain that particular day. If I walk for long or stand or play, or do something intense then the intensity of the pain will be unbearable sometimes due to pain I can't even sleep at night. In my test report, I have everything normal. Tests I have done so far are ASO TITRE, Anti-Nuclear, CPR, HLA B profile, Anti-CCP, Phosphorus, CPK, URIC ACID, CALCIUM, GLUCOSE, VITAMIN D AND B-12, THS, CBC, Alkaline Phosphate, Potassium, LDH, Magnesium.

Sir, my uric acid was high and pain in my leg joint after taking medicine febuxostat 80 mg it comes normal 5.5 but still I have pain in my joint, I am taking zero dol pain killer also. So pls guide
Male | 35
It’s possible that the high uric acid caused damage to your joint before going down. This can lead to lingering pain. You are doing well by taking a febuxostat and a painkiller. Rest the joint, apply ice, and try gentle exercises to strengthen the area. If the pain continues, see an orthopedist for further advice.

I want to know how many can a person gain from limb lengthening and does it depends with the cost and expenses
Female | 25
The maximum lengthening achievable is around 8-10 cm for the femur bone and 6-8 cm for the tibia bone. The amount of limb lengthening a person can gain through surgery varies according to the individual's initial height, the type of surgery, desired lengthening etc.

I had a question I was eating and accidentally put to much sugar and my back being hurting for the pass 4 days
Male | 17
Eating too many sweet things can make your back hurt. Sugar can make your body inflamed, and that leads to pain in your back. You should eat less sweet foods and drinks. Eat more fruits, veggies, and whole grains instead. Drink lots of water too. Light exercise might also help your back feel better. If you don't feel relieved, contact an orthopedist.

Hi good evening my name is techekia I am 34 years old I've been unable to walk it's been 4 years now after I give birth to my daughter I can't raise is my hand I do anything for myself I have done many tests since still can't get any answer trying to seek medical attention everywhere but I'm not getting any and it's affecting me badly and getting worst I wish if I could get some help
Female | 34
The symptoms you have explained, such as the inability to walk and numbness of the hand following delivery, are indicative of obstetric brachial plexopathy. This is a condition that occurs when the nerves around your shoulder are injured during the birthing process. Physical therapy can enhance your muscle power and flexibility. Physical therapists can give the right evaluation and the measures that work for them. I recommend consulting a physical therapist for further advice.

I would tell you to see an orthopedic specialist in Pakistan so that your bent feet can be examined and the most appropriate treatment administered for them. They will show you which alternative – plaster or surgery – would work in your case and aid recovery.

I think I have a meniscus tear
Female | 13
Your problem might be a torn meniscus, which is a cushion inside the knee. It can tear from twisting, bending, or wear and tear. Symptoms include pain, swelling, popping sounds, and the knee locking. You can treat it with rest, ice packs, keeping your leg raised, and doing physical therapy exercises. Surgery may be needed for severe tears.

Female | 18
Experiencing knee pain for the past couple of months could be due to various reasons, such as injury, overuse, arthritis, or other underlying issues. Consult a healthcare professional, preferably an orthopedic doctor, who specializes in musculoskeletal conditions to assess your situation, and potentially recommend imaging tests if needed..

Conclusion: Hypointense fracture of the metaphysis of the tibia proximally with stress edema of the bone. Moderate suprapatellar and minor intra-articular effusion. Irritation of suprapatellar fat. ACL femoral condyle distension. Possible partial rupture of the anterior root of the lateral meniscus. Distension of the proximal tibiofibular joint.
Female | 27
After going through your tests, it looks like the shinbone is fractured near the joint with a gradually progressive fracture inside the bone. Besides, there is liquid in the knee with some tension in the fat pad over the patella. The anterior ligament of the knee may be strained and the meniscus, a disc in the knee, may have a minor tear. The bones are separated, namely the shinbone, and the smaller leg bones are stretched. This will bring about pain, swelling, and at times impaired mobility of the knee. Resting, elevating the lower limb, using ice, and probably a brace could be an excellent start for a cure. In some situations, physiotherapy or surgery might be required for the knee to become stronger and better. You mustn't put any weight on the leg with the problem no matter what until an orthopedist advises the opposite.
