How can i prevent degenerative disc disease from getting worse
Prevention of worsening of degenerative disc disease is by decreasing the stress on the degenerated discs. Weight loss and avoidance of weight lifting and high impact activities decrease the stress and pain.

I would tell you to see an orthopedic specialist in Pakistan so that your bent feet can be examined and the most appropriate treatment administered for them. They will show you which alternative – plaster or surgery – would work in your case and aid recovery.

Painful thumb nail of leg pak thay evo
Female | 21
You might be having an ingrown toenail. This is when the toenail no longer grows on the skin but rather grows inside it. It can bring on further irritation, discoloration, and the build-up of bodily fluids. Tight shoes, or, on the other hand, improper nail clipping, are two principal causes of this situation. To get relief, you can soak your foot in some warm water and gently try to lift your nail. In cases of intense pain, visit an orthopedist for treatment.

A pinched nerve might cause your pain. Pressure on nerves from surrounding parts can cause this. Symptoms include hurt from neck down arm. You may feel discomfort elsewhere like leg or chest too. To feel better, rest, stretch gently, and maybe get physical therapy.

This condition is called knee effusion. Some Injury, arthritis, or other health issues often cause this. Take rest, elevate your legs, use ice packs, and do gentle exercises with a recommendation from a physiotherapist. Also, maintaining a healthy weight and avoiding activities that worsen swelling is crucial in healing this condition. It is better to consult an orthopedist for proper diagnosis and treatment

I m a 61 yr old female.i had a lower back nerve surgery in August but from September I m experiencing pain in lower back.what should I do??
Female | 61
The pain you are experiencing can be due to the inflammation or irritation of the nerves which are located in the back. It is vital that your doctor is aware of the pain so they can assess it and choose the most appropriate action. Treatment alternatives may contain physical therapy, medication, or further assessment in order to treat the primary issue of the pain.

My legs to mch pain and swelling what can i do
Male | 59
Most often, the cause of the symptoms is inflammation, which is your body's natural response to injury. The injuries may have been caused by standing or sitting for too long, or perhaps you bumped your leg recently. You can help with that by resting with your legs raised, applying a cold pack, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen. Besides that, drink plenty of water and cut down on salty foods. If the pain and swelling do not improve after a couple of days, it is better to go and see an orthopedist .

I've been having knee pains for a few years but never very bad. Last year, I hyperextended my knee and ever since I'll have someday where I almost don't feel any pain, and other days where I feel like it's ready to just give out. Is there any advice on what this could be or how I could treat it?
Male | 15
Persistent knee pain along with hyperextension injury should be evaluated by a healthcare professional. It could be due to ligamentous injury, meniscal tear, or patellofemoral pain syndrome. Some rest and pain medications can provide temporary relief.

Male | 24
Experiencing a sensation of 'pulling' in your leg is like your nerves telling you something is wrong. This could be due to nerve damage or excessive strain. Identifying any damage or muscle stretching that might be causing these sensations is important. Take a break, use ice for swelling, and gently stretch the area. If there's no improvement, consult an orthopedist for a closer examination.

Leg ankle heavy pain and swelling
Female | 25
An injury like a sprain, strain, or inflammation might be the culprit. Resting your leg, keeping it elevated, applying ice, and taking over-the-counter pain meds are crucial steps. If the pain and swelling persist, it's wise to consult an orthopedist.

When I was in the 8th class my arm was broken which remained crooked after joining and I feel very uncomfortable. Will my arm ever be able to become straight like before? I am 29 years old now.
Male | 29
The crooked healing of a bone can create a situation when the arm looks and feels wrong. At your age, the arm may not be able to go back to its original shape and become perfectly straight. Some treatments can help, including physical therapy and, in some cases, surgery. Of course, you should first talk with an orthopedist who can recommend the best way to make your life more bearable.

Hello, I am writing from Iran and because my English is not good, I have to use translation I have L1, L2, and L3 lumbar disc that presses on the nerve of the left leg, which causes pain exactly in the axillary area facing the outside of the thigh and the middle of the thigh, and after 60 sessions of physical therapy, I still have the same pain. Actually, my pain goes away with electrical devices, but it keeps coming back
Male | 25
If the Lumbar disc issues are causing nerve compression, consult an orthopedic specialist or neurologist, for a comprehensive assessment and to discuss further treatment options, which might include therapies, medications, or surgery based on their evaluation.

I have a problem with my lower waist for years now
Male | 18
Back pain comes and goes. But hurting for years is very bad. It might mean you have muscles that are tight or weak. Poor posture or not exercising can cause this problem. Also, sit and stand up straight. Going to a physical therapist can give you exercises to make it better.

Pain on my side at the back
Female | 30
Pain on your backside can have different causes. It can be the result of muscle strain from the performance of activities such as lifting heavy loads and bad posture. Sometimes it could be a kidney problem. If the pain is on one side near the back, it may be a kidney problem. Drinking enough water and resting can help if it's a muscle strain. But if the pain persists or worsens, visit an orthopedist.
