It is also possible you maybe pregnant, though the fact cannot be ascertained unless there is thorough medical examination. I advise you to see a gynecologist immediately for an accurate diagnosis. The gynecologist will definitely help you in deciding the best for you which you may need to do a pregnancy test or maybe more examinations.

The thing is I had an unprotected intercourse last month and a mistake actually happen and I ought to use postinor 2 for the first time to prevent any form of pregnancy. But after that my period did not flow well that month so I actually thought it's may be due to the drug so I waited the next month to see if there will be changes although it's doesn't flow much like before again but it's still better than the last period but the issues now is that am still seeing it after 5days which is my normal period length and it's going to like 8days now?
Female | 22
Your menstrual cycle seems different after Postinor 2. That's normal. The emergency pill can affect periods. You might bleed irregularly or your flow changes. It depends how your body reacts. If issues continue, talk to your doctor. Different people have varied responses to medicines.

I have a cyst in my ovary .and l would like to remove it .is it possible that I could remove only the cyst and remain the ovary
Female | 21
The surgeon can remove the cyst, and you will feel better afterward. These cysts are like fluid-filled balloons on your ovary. They can cause pain, bloating, and changes in your periods. Doctors can remove the cyst without taking out the ovary. The surgery is usually effective and helps relieve the symptoms.

Hi, I want to know adnexal cyst can be treated with surgery only or can it be resolved with any medicine or by its own without treatment. Dr. Has given voltrel, cefixim and trypsin tablets for 5 days and CA- 125 test is been awaited. Pls suggest advice.
Female | 16
Adnexal cysts are sacs filled with fluid. They're located close to the ovaries. Some cause pelvic pain, bloating. Others don't show any signs. Surgery may remove big or painful cysts. But many small ones go away without treatment. Medicines like yours might ease symptoms. Your gynecologist will guide you based on your situation. It's wise to await the CA-125 test results to learn more.

I am saba 38 years old female I am a mother of 3 now i want to get pregnant for the 4th time and my age is 38 but i am unable to concieve this time so i got some blood test of TSH and AMH so my TSH is 3.958 and AMH is 0.24 so can you please tell me that can i get pregnant or not I didnt take any medications for concieveing for my earlier three successful pregnancies.I was taking medications like Tab Ovaflow 25mg in morning daily Tab CQ10 100MG daily 1 Tab retzole 2.5
Female | 38
Your TSH level is slightly high, which can affect your fertility. Your AMH level is also on the lower side, indicating a decreased egg reserve. These factors could make it harder for you to get pregnant. Your doctor may recommend treatments such as fertility medications or assisted reproductive technology to help you conceive. Follow your gynecologist's instructions for the best chance of success.

I am 30 years old last month 26/07 date for menses but this month no menses what reason but two year before family planning..
Female | 30
Women can have irregular menstrual cycles, particularly if family planning has taken place before. Stress, weight fluctuations, or hormonal imbalances can also be the reasons for prolonged menstruation. If you suspect that you are pregnant, do a home pregnancy test. A balanced diet, regular exercise, and effective stress management will help to balance your cycle. If the issue still persists, then it is better to consult your gynecologist.

I have done sex today so I don’t want to pregnant and I didn’t use safety so I want use I PILL tablet to not pregnant
Female | 19
The “morning-after pill” is a type of emergency contraception that can prevent pregnancy if taken within a certain time after unprotected sexual intercourse. It does this by stopping or delaying ovulation (the release of eggs), which means there’s no egg for sperm to fertilize. Some common side effects include nausea, headache, and tiredness. Remember that this should not be used as regular birth control. If you are worried, you can reach out for further advice from a gynecologist.

Can I be having cervical cancer
Female | 35
Cervical cancer can happen, but there's no need to worry—it's treatable if caught early. Potential signs include unusual bleeding, discharge, pain during intimacy, or pelvic aches. The primary cause is often specific strains of the HPV virus. Regular gynecologist visits and Pap smears can help detect any issues early. Stay on top of your screenings to protect your health.

I have a yeast infection and have been treating it with strovid at first and now ketocon azole pill and cream but the discharge is not stopping.. What more can I do?
Female | 24
It is necessary to take into account the fact that yeast infections don’t react to the therapies in the same way for all people. Although Strovid and ketoconazole are the most popular ways to treat yeast infections, these treatments may not be for everyone. I would suggest seeking a reliable gynecologist or dermatologist.

I am jash i am 22 years old girl. I had no periods since last two months and I am not pregnant my weight is gaining without any reason
Female | 22
When periods stop and weight increases suddenly, it could mean there is an imbalance in hormones. This might be caused by stress, bad eating habits, or some diseases such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is necessary to consult a gynecologist who will conduct tests and recommend appropriate treatment.

I am a 14 year old female who has Poly Cystic Ovary syndrome & my period has not came yet.
Female | 14
PCOS means that your hormones are a little off balance which causes small cysts to grow on your ovaries. As a result, this may make your periods irregular or you could miss them altogether. Therefore, you must talk to a gynecologist about it. They’ll be able to help with managing symptoms and coming up with a plan that suits only you.

Why is my period late 2 3 months?
Female | 18
It's normal for periods to be late sometimes. Stress, weight changes, diet, and exercise can all affect your menstrual cycle. Hormonal imbalances like PCOS or thyroid issues can also cause delays. If you experience pain, bleeding issues, or acne, see a doctor. Eating well, reducing stress, and exercising regularly may help regulate your cycle. Periods don’t always follow a strict schedule, as many factors influence their timing. Be aware of what's normal for you, but seek medical attention from a gynecologist if you notice concerning symptoms.

I was a virgin until May 5, 2024. My partner and i tried to have sex, but in his words, he never came at the same time he did not have precum. He also said that he did not put it in all the way. (Before i continue, a little back story, i have this 21 hormonal pill pack. I know we have the 21 and the 28 pack. I have the 21. I use this pack to regulate my period since i have PCOS also prescribed by my doctor. Though for the past few months feb-may i should be off my pills to see if my period regulated again ordered by my doctor. I had no period on feb and march but did on april.) After 2 hrs of unprotected sex, i took 1 pill from the 21 pill pack that i have. Then 4 days later i took 5 pills for 5 consecutive days. Then stopped after the 5 days. (Back story: in the 21 pill pack, you have a 7 day break to wait to get your period. Sometimes it comes within the 7 days. Sometimes it comes after the 7 days. After the 7 day break you have to restart and take a pill and continue for 20 more days as said in the instructions. With period or not). So the 5 days were May 10,11,12,13,14. On May 22 i got my period. When i checked the calendar i realized there was a 7 day break in between before i got my period. My period started on May 22 and ended on May 26. And i know it was my period because, it looked like my period everytime i get it. Dark red blood, blood clots, lasted 3-5 days, abdominal cramps with matching lower back pain, bleeding through my pad. Smelled like my period everytime i get it. Questions: 1. Is there a possibility for pregnancy? 2. Did i mess up my hormones? 3. Did i mess up my PCOS? 4. How is it possible that i took 5 pills from a 21 pill pack had the 7 day break and had my period?
Female | 24
There isn’t much of a chance that you’re pregnant. Your partner didn’t ejaculate, and there wasn’t any pre-cum. Also, your period came on time. If you take extra pills or have breaks in your pack, it can sometimes affect your hormones. However, only making this kind of short-term change may not result in long-term problems. Getting your period after taking 5 pills and then going off them could have caused some hormonal changes but if eventually things evened out when it came back.
