Could dry urethra be causing my symptoms?
I had symptoms of a uti so I was prescribed antibiotics. Before and after the Antibiotics I had no signs of nitrates, just leukocytes. After the antibiotics the only issue I had was vaginal dryness, itchiness and irritation in the urethra that made me have to pee more. All of these issues started after using soap in vaginal area consistently which I have now stopped. I treated the uti, then the yeast infection and now I am simply left with urethra irritation and dryness on my vulva. Good love mositurizer makes the symptoms go away. Do I just have a dry urethra?

This can occur after using soap in your vaginal area. The dryness can lead to irritation and itchiness down there. But do not worry, this issue can be fixed. Using a gentle lotion can help make the symptoms better. Just keep the area clean and do not use harsh soaps. If the itchiness does not go away, it is a good idea to see a urologist.

I have been feeling the urge to urinate frequently since yesterday. It feels like it will come out in my pants. I go back after urinating and it feels like it will come out in my pants
Male | 33
It appears that your urge to pee has intensified, and you are peeing more often, which is very uncomfortable. Key contributors are urinary tract infections, which result in bladder inflammation, and other factors, e.g., anxiety, can be mentioned. The best way to gain full hydration and avoidance of caffeine helps the illness. It is necessary to have a careful sense of your own needs. You can also consult a urologist if the symptoms persist or get worse.

Hello, i’m a 23 year old male and i would like to speak to a urologist because i think i might have an std. I have taken various std tests and all my results came back negative, my family doctor prescribed a couple antibiotics (cefixime, nitrofurantoin, levofloxacin and ofloxacin) for the symptoms but it only suppresses it for a while before it flares up again. What do i do now ?
Male | 23
Hello, it's important to follow up with a urologist if your symptoms persist despite negative STD tests and antibiotic treatment. A urologist can provide specialized care for your condition and might conduct further tests to identify the underlying issue.

Hii am shahil now I am suffering from urinary bladder infection ( light internal echos are seen s/o cystitis) how can I treat this and this infection is in critical condition or average plzz help me to get well soon thanks
Male | 18
You might have this problem if you are feeling pain when passing urine if you feel like you need to pass urine more often than usual, or when your urine looks cloudy. A bladder infection happens when bacteria enter the bladder. However, it is not usually serious. To cure it, your doctor might give you some antibiotics that can help kill the germs causing the infection. Ensure that you drink a lot of water to help wash away the bacteria.

I'm having itchy penis. It started on Saturday.
Male | 32
If you are going through an itchy penis, you should refer a urologist or a dermatologist with a specialization in genital conditions. They will be able to diagnose you properly and suggest the best treatment for you. It is advised to consult a physician instead of self-diagnosing and applying home remedies.

Firstly, approximately 20 years ago, I experienced a significant shoulder impact while playing football, resulting in a sprain that extends from my neck to the back of my shoulder. Whenever I engage in physical activity, particularly on the injured right shoulder side, I feel a burning sensation accompanied by heat. Additionally, I've noticed that my right hip appears elevated since the injury. In a previous scan, I discovered a left-sided disc prolapse. Moreover, I occasionally experience sprains in the middle of my back. I have not been taking any medications for this issue as previous doctors have been unable to identify the problem. I am concerned about the long-term implications and would greatly appreciate your expertise in evaluating and providing guidance on the appropriate course of action. Are there any specific tests or examinations that you recommend to better understand the underlying causes and potential treatment options for my shoulder, hip, and back issues? Furthermore, I recently discovered that I have kidney stones in both of my kidneys. I do not have diabetes or high blood pressure, and I am not diagnosed with arthritis. Additionally, I have been informed that I have elevated uric acid levels. Considering these multiple health concerns, I am wondering if blood tests or any other diagnostic tests would be beneficial in identifying any potential connections between these issues and guiding the most appropriate treatment plan.
Male | 44
To address your musculoskeletal concerns consult an orthopedic specialist. They would recommend imaging studies, physical therapy, and medications as needed. For your kidney stones and elevated uric acid, seek guidance from a urologist nearest to you or a nephrologist who can perform diagnostic tests. I suggest to follow certain dietary changes, and monitor your kidney health. Open communication with your specialists for a tailored treatment plan for your multiple health concerns.

Urinary stent removal is a painful procedure.next week I remove my stent panic
Male | 30
Stent removal leads to brief sharp pain or pulling sensation. This happens because the stent gets gently pulled through the urethra, where urine flows from the bladder. Though strange or uncomfortable, the procedure is quick. Any pain should go away fast once the stent is removed completely. Discuss concerns with your urologist if needed.

Male | 20
You seem to have symptoms of a urinary tract infection (UTI). This causes pain when peeing. You might also need to urinate frequently. Your urine may look cloudy or smell unusual. Drinking lots of water and not holding in your urine can help. Sometimes antibiotics are required from a urologist to get rid of the infection. It's crucial to address a UTI promptly to feel better fast.

A urinary tract infection (UTI) could have spread to your kidneys. UTIs happen when bacteria enter the urinary tract. They can make urination burn. You may have to urinate often. There can be abdominal pain too. Kidney infections bring severe stomach pain and discomfort. To prevent complications, drink lots of water. Take all your prescribed medications as directed. But you should see a urologist for proper treatment.

Yes, oral herpes can be directly transmitted to the genitals through penetration solely. Genital herpes is caused by HSV-2, but oral sex can result in genital infection from the oraphasic virus.
