Can I Get Pregnant if I had Unprotected Sex 9 Days Before My Periods?
I had unprotected sex 9 days before my periods.. Is there any chance I can get pregnant
Gynecologist
Answered on 23rd May '24
Yes there is chances of getting pregnant. Sperm are able to stay alive in the female body for up to five days, and if you ovulate before this period, this can greatly increase the likelihood of becoming pregnant. If you have any concern talk to a gynecologist to take the test and get more detailed advice.

After bleeding is it possible to get pregnant after taking i pills and use protection also ..
Female | 25
Bleeding doesn't eliminate pregnancy risk completely. Though i-pills and protection methods can reduce chances, they aren't foolproof. See gynecologist promptly if experiencing severe pain or excessive bleeding.

The bleeding can be a result of the hormonal imbalance that is triggered by the pills. The side effects you are experiencing are also common. One must keep an eye on the bleeding and at the same time drink enough water. If the bleeding continues or worsens, it is important to get medical help from a gynecologist to ensure everything is fine.

I m having follicular cyst and I have taken treatment for that for almost three months now I m trying to concieve my second child but Nothing works I had c section delivery in 2019 that time I have nothing now I m not concieving what should I do
Female | 24
For follicular cysts, the cause may be that the capacity to conceive is impaired. These follicles form on the ovaries and can interfere with the normal ovulation process. The improper functioning of this system can hinder a woman's conception. If you've been trying to conceive without success, it can help to see a fertility specialist. They can assess your situation and provide the right advice and treatment options.

I m 19 year old female.....i had unprotected sex 8 days ago and taken i-pill within 24 hours will it cause any harm to me or...will my periods be delayed....i m not sure...we did used condom but somehow it got loosened and came out...but to clear my doubt i had taken i-pill
Female | 19
Taking the emergency contraceptive pill called i-pill within 24 hours of having sex without protection against pregnancy. If you have a delayed menstrual cycle after using the drug, do not worry it is a usual thing. Nausea, fatigue feelings, and changes in the menstrual period are some common side effects of using this drug. So next time always ensure you are safe by using protection.

My abortion in before 2month but not periods start
Female | 25
It's not unusual for someone who had an abortion not to menstruate right after. Their bodies may take up to 2 months to reestablish the natural cycle. Few points that need attention are that there can be severe vaginal fluid, fever, or pain (jaundice). When experiencing these infections could develop. Infections will need treatment with antibiotics. Your period may eventually continue not to come, but if you're worried about it, go to your doctor. If you notice anything unusual, seeking some medical advice by a gynecologist would be the best solution.

Hi, so I had a medical abortion recently (less than 5 weeks pregnant and the transvaginal scan said the embryo couldn’t be visualised yet/ it’s also my first pregnancy). After I was administered 4 pills of Misoprostol vaginally at the hospital, I started bleeding 2 hours later but it was like a regular period (a little heavier than usual and some clots/tissue much later in the day). I’ve been reading stories about intense pain and cramping etc. but haven’t experienced any at all. I took a pain med on the first day expecting a lot of pain but all I felt was some pressure in my abdomen for a few hours and a heating pad helped. It’s been around 5 days since then (proper bleeding for 2-3 days and very light bleeding on the 4th day and spotting on the 5th day). Today I stopped bleeding. Is this normal?
Female | 29
It is quite common to get different experiences in a medical abortion. Some people face severe pain, but others do not. Nevertheless, bleeding and not feeling much pain seems to be not a big deal at the moment. Every person has a different response to the drugs. Please keep an eye on symptoms such as heavy bleeding, severe pain, or high fever and alert your gynecologist in case of any. In addition, keep a low-stress pace, rest well, and fulfil the post-abortion aftercare recommendations you were provided with.

I am a 32 hear old lady. I am 4 months pregnant, 3 days ago I felt itchiness on my vagina area going up to the labia it was a strong burning sensation and today I noticed some rash on the area and the itchiness and burning is still there. What could be the cause I am married and we have unprotected sex with my husband.
Female | 32
This could be a yeast infection or it could be something called vulvar dermatitis which is common. These are more likely to happen when you’re pregnant because of the hormonal changes. You can use antifungal creams or soothing creams that are sold over the counter to help with these symptoms. You need to talk to your gynecologist about what’s going on so they can give you the right advice and treatment.

Vaginal Yeast Infection. Tried ointment and pills but didn’t cure. It developed some days after I used V wash.
Female | 19
Yeast infection is a frequent vaginal disease that occurs when there are excessive yeasts present. Ointments and pills do not always eliminate the infection. In this situation, therefore it is advised to visit a gynecologist. Do not use products such as V wash until the disease is fully healed.

I had unprotected sex on 7th February and had ipill later. Afterwards I got my period on 19th February. I had protected sex on 26th February and again on 11 March. I am 2 days late
Female | 22
Being slightly late for your period isn't abnormal, especially during stressful times or bodily adjustments. The unprotected sexual encounter on February 7th, followed by taking emergency contraception, could impact your cycle. That might explain your delayed period. Remember, stress, diet modifications, and illness can also affect menstruation. If you're still worried, a home pregnancy test can offer clarity.

I am 30 years old and married. It's my third day if period... It's not heavy but I am passing gel like stringy clots, that cause weakness in the body, dizziness, I have lower abdominal pain as well as lower back pain, accompanied with dry cough at times and lastly my breasts feel heavy and tender. My period is usually heavy for the first 3days, this time it's clotting with pain and the blood flow is light.
Female | 30
You might have symptoms of a disorder called endometriosis. What endometriosis means is the fact that a similar to your uterus lining tissue, has started to grow outside of this organ. Also, a person with endometriosis may feel pain during their periods, have a really heavy flow, or even notice that they pass clots often. Try using a warm water bottle on your stomach area, taking some painkillers, and consulting a gynecologist about treatment options.
