I have a abscess on my leg...it red and puffy....and it has developed a red line coming from the area of the abscess and is very painful... what might be the problem and what is the line

Treated with Oral Isotretinoin, topical clindamycin,niacinamide ,Tacrolimus, and PDL. Did not observe significant improvement. (Excluded Connective Tissue Disease) Regards-

Post acne erythema and macular erythematous scars are common in few individuals as the acne subside. Sometimes underlying Rosacea component may also contribute to redness. Oral isotretinoin itself can cause mild erythema as long as the drug is taken if sunscreen is not used appropriately. Quasi long pulse mode of QS yag laser, topical drugs like topical Ivermectin, metronidazole for underlying rosaceaetc are prescribed by the Dermatologists. Please consult a Dermatologist for the same.
