Irregular periods do not mean the same thing, it can happen for many reasons. For example, stress, imbalanced hormones, such as those brought on by extreme weight shifts, or a given health condition, any of these might be the reason behind your sickness. Sticking to a healthy lifestyle involving daily exercise and the right diet can help you bring back the regular cycle of your periods. If the problem is ongoing, it is ideal to consult a gynecologist for an in-depth check-up and advice.

Hello i am a 21 year old female and i urinate every 5 Minutes with a discomfort feeling of pain and swelling below my belly close to my Virginia i have been experiencing this for 3 weeks now . I wake up every morning nauseous and light headed with an increase of appetite but due to the nauseous feeling on my stomach i struggle to eat.
Female | 21
Frequent urination, discomfort in the lower abdomen, and nausea can indicate several issues, such as a urinary tract infection or bladder irritation. The lightheadedness and changes in appetite may be related to these symptoms as well. It’s important to stay hydrated and consider small, nourishing meals if eating is difficult. However, given the persistence of your symptoms for three weeks, I strongly encourage you to consult a gynecologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

After abortion procedures with Cytotec pills, it is normal to have cramps and bleeding. Sometimes, the procedure is not finished only with one dose. You can still experience cramps in case there are some tissues left. Be cautious of the bleeding and cramps. If they become worse or you feel bad, call your gynecologist.

Please answer this. I’m anxious and loosing my self. Is it absolutely certain that an ultrasound scan done at 14 weeks after intercourse would detect a pregnancy? I had an intercourse on October 24 that did not include vaginal penetration or ejaculation, but there was rubbing around the anal region. She got her periods on November 8, December 6, and January 3. A urine pregnancy test was done on December 30 using evening urine, and it showed a clear negative result. Out of curiosity, she had an ultrasound scan on January 28 at a clinic, and they said there was no pregnancy. However, I’m still unable to convince myself that nothing happened. Please confirm if, even in the case of a cryptic pregnancy, the ultrasound scan done on January 28 would have absolutely detected? Is there any chance of pregnancy in this case even now . Please give clarity and help me to ease my mind.
Female | 20
Based on the information provided, the likelihood of pregnancy from the activities described, especially since periods occurred as normal, is very low. The ultrasound performed on January 28 would typically detect any existing pregnancy, including rare cases like a cryptic pregnancy. Given the negative urine test and the clear ultrasound result, it's very unlikely that a pregnancy exists now. If anxiety persists, please consider discussing your feelings with a gynecologist who can offer reassurance and support tailored to your situation.

Why is my period late 2 3 months?
Female | 18
It's normal for periods to be late sometimes. Stress, weight changes, diet, and exercise can all affect your menstrual cycle. Hormonal imbalances like PCOS or thyroid issues can also cause delays. If you experience pain, bleeding issues, or acne, see a doctor. Eating well, reducing stress, and exercising regularly may help regulate your cycle. Periods don’t always follow a strict schedule, as many factors influence their timing. Be aware of what's normal for you, but seek medical attention from a gynecologist if you notice concerning symptoms.

I am a girl aged 21 the previous night l noticed slight virginal bleeding l wore a pad in the morning l noticed the bleeding wasn't much as usual. The following day the bleeding was kinder normal without cramps however this morning l noticed my night pad doesn't even have a drop of blood. Upon calculating my cycle was supposed to start 5 days from today. I had unprotected sex 8 days ago l took emergency contraceptive just a few hours after sex.
Female | 21
It's understandable to be concerned about your symptoms after recent events. Light bleeding can occur for multiple reasons, such as hormonal fluctuations or the use of emergency contraception leading to temporary changes in the cycle, which is a very common one. Since your period is expected in a few days, it’s possible that what you experienced was an irregularity. If the bleeding doesn't stop or if you have other concerns, I recommend that you see a gynecologist who will perform a comprehensive examination.

Female | 24
You may have experienced a miscarriage according to your statement. This may happen when pregnancy is not growing in the right way. The telltale symptoms of a miscarriage are evidenced by a positive blood test without a visible scan, along with bleeding. Bleeding can be a signal that fetal development did not take place as expected. If you are having the symptoms, it is important to visit a gynecologist for advice and support.

I understand your situation. It is acceptable if your period is 3 days late, but if you wish to clear any doubt of being pregnant, then a home pregnancy test is one thing you can do for pregnancy confirmation. If the test is positive and you do not want to be pregnant, you should consult a doctor immediately. In addition to this, when you contact your healthcare center, you will learn about the pill or any other contraceptive method. It is very important to get a gynecologist's advice for your health and mental matters.

Having periods twice in a month can be caused by multiple reasons, not only the case of pregnancy. It can happen due to hormonal fluctuations, stress, or even changes in your schedule. You stated that your period has a normal flow, so stress has a less probable chance of being a sign of pregnancy. Yet, to have a clear picture, it is always better to do a pregnancy test. If you're still anxious, you can visit a gynecologist for the next steps.

I am 28 days late for my cycle. I got diagnosed with pcod 14 days back and was prescribed primolut n twice a day for 3 days and nutriv O and prenatal daily for 10 days. It's been 10 days since primolut n is stopped but I haven't got my periods yet. I am not pregnant. When should my period be back? Why is this delay?
Female | 24
Feeling nervous about your late cycle is reasonable, particularly after receiving treatment for PCOD. Hormonal dysregulation in diseases like PCOD can cause periods with irregular cycle. After the end of the Primolut N therapy, it might take due course for your endocrine system to balance estrogen and progesterone and thereby, start the menstruation process. Your period to come back in a few weeks maybe your anticipations, but it is important to remember that your body works quite differently. You should consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.

I have not yet had any relation with anyone nor have had sex, I have only masturbated, so are these all symptoms of pregnancy or is it something else?

Even without sexual contact, tummy troubles, sore breasts, and backaches happen. Indigestion, muscle strain, or stress often cause such discomfort. Drink plenty of water. Eat nutritious foods. Get enough rest. If pains persist, talk to a gynecologist. They'll provide guidance.

You're soaking your pads with thick, jelly-like blood that has a strong smell in the morning, and you're also experiencing vomiting. This excessive, dark red blood flow could be due to hormonal changes, infection, or other health issues.
