Why am I experiencing acid reflux after taking Zerodol?
I have been prescribed zerodol for back pain for 5 days. But I also have gastric after 5 days I am having acid reflux. What should I do

Answered on 6th Aug '24
Zerodol may have relieved the pain, but it left you with an unpleasant twist in your stomach—acid reflux, also known as heartburn. This condition occurs when stomach acid flows back into your esophagus, causing a burning sensation in your chest or throat. To manage it, try eating smaller meals, avoid spicy foods, and stay upright for a while after eating.

Ulcerative colitis flare up or stomach bug?
Female | 18
Sometimes flare-ups of ulcerative colitis and stomach bugs show the same symptoms, such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and cramps. However, a stomach bug is usually a short-lived infection that may disappear on its own while ulcerative colitis is a chronic condition that needs medical intervention. Visit a gastroenterologist who can effectively make a diagnosis and prescribe treatment.

I wanted to ask why is there blood in my stool? I have had some blood in my poop before because of hemorrhoids, but I'm concerned now because this time it was more than just blood on the toilet paper, it was also on the toilet water and in the stool. When I did try to poop, it was hard and some part was sharp too, which is making me think that it was because of that, but I googled why and it made me overthink that I might have a serious problem.
Female | 15
Blood in stool can be caused by different causes like hemorrhoids, anal fissures, inflammatory bowel disease, infections, polyps. But, since there is also blood in the toilet water, so it will be prescient to consult a gastroenterologist immediately. They can do the physical examination, suggest tests, and give the required treatment.

I would suggest that you see a gastroenterologist who will give you the right medical help and care. A lump at the top of your buttocks that's more difficult to swallow could suggest any condition, including a perianal abscess or a pilonidal cyst.

The 12.2mm stone in your gallbladder could be the source of your pain in the stomach. Stuff formities are mainly caused by the hardening of bile in the gallbladder. The 9mm hernia and grade one fatty liver might also be the ones that make your pain worse. As a solution to these problems, you may need treatments such as surgery for the hernia or medications for the fatty liver. A timely health check-up is important for correct diagnosis and treatment. I have a friend who just experienced sharp liver pain since 24/4, he says it’s from consuming sparkling water and he doesn’t want to seek medical attention. He’s now on a “liver diet” where he doesn’t eat anything processed because he ate a pizza thinking the pain is gone and it started hurting more. He’s also water fasting. He says the pain comes and goes and it eventually started hurting in his right side. What can he do? He doesn’t want any medical treatment. He is 22.
Male | 22
These signs may point to digestive trouble or liver issues. He should stop fasting and avoid the "liver diet." Instead, he needs to consume simple, nutritious foods and drink lots of water. Urge him to pay attention to his body's signals. If pain continues or gets worse, he must consult a gastroenterologist.

I'm experiencing stomach ache
Female | 18
It seems you have stomach pain. Reasons for this vary - overeating or rushing meals, gas buildup, or stress can cause it. Sometimes viruses or food poisoning strike. To improve, rest up, hydrate with water, and eat simply - crackers or toast work well. However, if this persists or worsens, promptly consult a gastroenterologist.

I am 24 years old, i have symptoms of severe stomach pain, bloating, blood in stool sometimes, none in the last days, dierrhea, whatever i eat causes pain, I went to a gastroentrologist, he sent me for some tests, the results are helicobacter pylori - 0.19, calprotectin - 8.2 and no blood in stool. What could that be? I have an appointment with a gynecologist the next week.
Female | 24
If the patient has the symptoms you have mentioned, along with the results of Helicobacter pylori 019 and high calprotectin, the patient needs to see a gastroenterologist for more diagnosis and treatment. These signs could be suggestive of diseases, like gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, or inflammatory disease bowels.

I'm a 24-year-old guy and have been suffering from stomach issues for several years. To begin with, I should mention that before 2-3 years ago, I never had any problems of this kind. I remember vomiting only once or twice when I was a child. However, 2-3 years ago, after a bout of oyster poisoning, I started experiencing episodes of dyspepsia at least once a month, despite maintaining a generally healthy and balanced diet. Following the incident 2-3 years ago, I visited multiple gastroenterologists who examined me but never wanted to go beyond an ultrasound, which they always said looked fine. They concluded that the problem is functional. After discovering my lactose intolerance, I learned to avoid lactose, but unfortunately, I still feel unwell 1-2 times a week. It starts with a bit of diarrhea and then nausea, which I try to alleviate with Biochetasi and other products like baking soda and lemon, but I still go through tough hours. Tonight's episode was particularly severe, and I don't know how to resolve this!!
Male | 24
This happens when you get stressed, eat certain things (or have been infected by something). Keep an eye on what you’ve been eating about when these symptoms show up by writing them down in a food diary. Also, talk to a gastroenterologist about what else they could do to treat it or if there are any other dietary changes you should make that might help relieve some discomforts associated with this condition.
