Yes, a pill can get stuck in your lung. it can happen when something you’re swallowing goes down the wrong way. If you have trouble breathing after taking medicine, or you cough, wheeze, or have any other worrying symptoms, get medical help right away. I am 30 years old male and have cough and sore throat for 4 days. And also having head and chest pain during coughing. Taken himalaya koflet syrup, ginger tulsi tea but its not working. Please tell me what to do?
Male | 30
These are all signs of some breathing bug like cold or flu. Right now what will help most is to drink plenty of liquids, stay in bed as long as possible, and take something like Tylenol for the pain. If you don’t start feeling better soon or if things get worse instead, then go to a doctor to take a look at what’s going on with your body.

Severe cough body chest pain
Female | 41
Coughing so hard together with chest pain can be due to one thing or another such as a bad cold flu, or pneumonia which could be even worse. To get through this better, make sure you get enough sleep, drink a lot of fluids, and consider using a humidifier. However, if your symptoms are the same, consult a pulmonologist.

I am 17 year old female, I had a common cold that started with sore throat week ago and now I don't have a cold anymore, I didn't have cough during the cold (my throat was sore for the first 2 days but then on third day my nose started to be stuffy and I didn't have sore throat or cough at all). But like 2 days ago I started to feel not pain, but like weird sensation in area of bronchi, but its not pain, just like a sensation I feel when I breathe. Its not all the time but I noticed it. I don't have cough, or any other symptoms and my cold is like 90% gone at this point, but I don't know what that sensation might come from and I don't think its bronchitidis since I dont cough, I dont have fever, and I feel generally good, just sometimes when I breathe I feel that sensation in area of bronchi as I mentioned and it doesnt make me cough, just like sometimes to slightly make that cough sound but its not cough if you know what I mean. What could be the cause and how can I get rid of it? Also, I dont know if its going to help but I sleep on my left side every night and lately I think it caused me a bit of pain in shoulder/upper chest area from being in that position all night long. So perhaps could It be caused my some pulled muscle or something from sleeping in wrong position ? Thank you for your answer.
Female | 17
Your case seems like a typical cold getting better. The breathing issue near the bronchi may come from inflammation after the cold. Sleeping on the left side likely caused muscle discomfort in the shoulder and chest regions. Rest up, drink lots of fluids, and practice good posture to ease muscle pain. However, if bronchial sensation persists after a few days, see a pulmonologist just to be safe. Get well soon!

My foster father is having slight pain on his left side of chest. Since 6 months or so. I would like to know what it could be.
Male | 62
Constant light pain on the left side of the chest for a period not shorter than half and year may have many causes, starting from musculoskeletal disorders to heart-related diseases. Your foster father should also seek professional advice from a cardiologist to query through his heart history and check it out, via tests such as an ECG of X-ray for the identification of its cause. He should get prompt medical attention to rule out any serious conditions and ensure his health.

I have been getting sick with sore throat and lungs congestion for a long time now. Every month, at least two trips to the clinic with antibiotics is a must. I suspect that my asthmatic and wheezing, coughing, congestion, sinus, tonsillitis, and inflammation might br caused by mold in my home and office. How can I ask my doctor here in clinic to test my blood for the mold toxicity?
Female | 24
Mold can grow in damp areas, releasing spores that may cause illness. If you suspect mold exposure, you can ask your doctor for a blood test by saying, "I'm worried that mold at home or work may be causing my symptoms. Could we check for mold toxicity in my blood?" This test can help determine if mold is behind your health issues. In addition to treating any symptoms, it’s important to address the mold sources at home and work to improve your air quality.

I’ve been having a issue since morning tho I’m asthmatic when I feel the pain I use inhaler it stops and later I feel it again
Male | 22
Asthma causes breathing difficulties like chest pain and shortness of breath. If you use your inhaler and feel better, that medicine is opening your airways. However, when symptoms return, it may mean asthma isn't fully controlled. You likely need to see a pulmonologist who can adjust your treatment plan. The right treatment helps manage asthma symptoms properly.

I am 26 years old, I am using formonide 200 RESPICAPS (powder for inhalation IP) and I have using it as daily one capsule each, and my capsule is finish out, I unable to buy the medicine and currently I am having asthma. Can you presibe a medicine I can take today to relax my asthma. ( One time only please something with low price like a pill to swallow like dolo250 )
Male | 26
It's crucial to continue asthma treatment as prescribed. Without Formonide 200, which helps control asthma long-term, seek immediate advice from your pulmonologist or asthma specialist. They can suggest a suitable alternative or provide a temporary solution until you can refill your prescription.

I have difficult in breathing having numbness I have done X-ray covid 19 and blood test but nothing can be seen I carried a baby weight is 10 kg for 4 hours could it be the problem

Breathing issues wouldn't be possible because you carried a baby for long. Although it can cause muscle straing or fatigue. Check with a pulmonologist or a physician for a thorough evaluation.

I am 41 year old. I recently had cough and cold then I took some drugs. Though the cough is gone, but for some days now anytime I cough my breath ceases
Male | 41
According to the research you've put forward, it is likely that you might have a disease known as asthma. Wheezing can occur during a cough when asthmatic patients have trouble breathing. This is a result of opened, inflamed, and tightened air tubes. In addition to coughing, other symptoms may include wheezing and chest tightness. One of the ways to cope is by staying away from irritants such as smoke or dust.

Asthma and bronchitis ki problem hai
Male | 25
Asthma and bronchitis are both breathing problems. These are symptoms of respiratory diseases such as coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, etc. Asthma is a condition that can be provoked by allergies, exercise, or cold weather, while bronchitis is mostly caused by viruses or smoking. It would be helpful to follow your medication regime, steer clear of triggers such as smoke or pollution, and live a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and regular exercise.

I was smoking. But I quit smoking till 2 days. Now I'm facing difficulties of breathing.
Male | 24
Experiencing shortness of breath after stopping smoking is a typical occurrence. Your body is getting used to the new environment. This may be because your lungs are now getting rid of the waste that can be left after smoking. It is a positive indicator that your body is on the way to recovery. Attempt to resume the procedure by breathing slowly and drinking water. If the problem doesn't go away, visit a pulmonologist.

Weldon sir/ma, I am issues with breathing and sometimes too I have chest pain, sometimes when I stand. I was told to do an x-ray to figure it out but the test results came out anf everything seemed normal, but I am still having issues.
Male | 15
You reported breathing difficulties, chest discomfort when standing, despite normal X-ray results. This could indicate asthma, anxiety, or acid reflux issues. I advise discussing additional testing with your doctor, such as lung function evaluation or electrocardiogram (ECG). These further examinations may provide insight into the underlying cause, allowing appropriate treatment.

It sounds like your son's cough is persistent and fluctuates in intensity, regardless of a chest x-ray showing no issues. Weather changes seem to affect it, with worsening during bad weather. Surprisingly, no coughing during physical activities like sports or cycling, but sometimes occurs when sitting. It might be worth exploring further with a pulmonologist to understand the underlying cause.

I'm a 19 year old female. I drink a shot of bleach and have chest pain, cough, nausea, shortness of breath, and I feel hot. This all happened yesterday april 30th at 1 am.

Ingesting bleach may cause these effects by irritating your respiratory and digestive systems. It’s risky and should be treated as a medical emergency. Always remember that bleach is harmful if swallowed and could injure your internal organs in the future.

I am facing shortness of breath and unable to move due to this. Already taking treatment but no improvement getting. Doctor is treating for CRP. It is reported 38 on 26 aug and platelet are 83000. Also fever and khasi.
Male | 63
When you show symptoms such as a fever, cough, and CRP levels that are too high, it might mean there is a serious infection in your body. The high platelet count may also be a sign of inflammation. It's vital to stick strictly to your doctor's instructions since they are most probably dealing with an infection at the moment. Keep them updated on any shifts in your symptoms, or if you're feeling worse. Rest, drink a lot of water, and take the medications as prescribed. If you see any signs of your symptoms worsening, contact a pulmonologist immediately.
