Why are my SGPT and SGOT high at 21 weeks pregnant?
I m 21 week pregnant. My SGPT AND SGOT is 394 and 327. Already taking liver medicine prescribe by doctor. Why it is happening. Is it normal??

Answered on 15th July '24
Elevated serum GOT (394) and GPT (327) levels in pregnancy are not widespread. These levers might be indicators of liver damage, which could be caused by some liver conditions or infections like Isaak's disease. Fortunately, you are already taking medication. Stick to your doctor's recommendations. Don't forget to have a healthy lifestyle that includes good food, proper hydration, and sufficient sleep. The monthly checkups can tell whether the problem is under control.

I have anal fissure when i visited doctor they said it is anal fissure and they gave medicine it got well in 3 days no pain and no symptoms there after...then after that pain suddenly starts again but this its different like paining from spinal to anus and legs are feeling weak i dont know its continuation of that anal fissure so decided to go another time to doctor and he said it not healed so only paining nu but it was paining from abdomen to low is it will be like or any other reasons? And also i found my stools are coming normal but when it dissolved in water it looks like powder..it dissolves and looks like powder partially this also is there for a week..is it any worrying signs ?
Male | 21
An anal fissure could cause the pain radiating from your spine to the anus. Weakness in legs might occur too. Your stools looking powder-like when dissolved in water points to a potential digestive issue. It's crucial to see a gastroenterologist for proper evaluation and treatment to manage these symptoms.

Having extremely gas and constipation/diarrhea from last 4 years...brown thin stool, mucus , and a few times blood verry less. Main problem is extreme gas
Male | 22
Persistent gas pain and irregular bowel movements should be checked out. If you notice mucus tinged with red during bathroom trips, it could signal a more serious issue. Inflammation and bacterial infections can disrupt your gut health. Don’t ignore these symptoms—consult a gastroenterologist to identify the problem and find a solution.

Pain in theth a side and fever
Male | 59
You're having chest pain on one side along with a fever. Pneumonia or muscle strain is one of the causes. The most important thing is to take it easy, drink lots of fluids, and take some over-the-counter medications such as acetaminophen. If the pain and fever continue to worsen, see a gastroenterologist.

Iam 23 year old.The jackfruit comes out undigested in the stool in the same form
Female | 23
If it seems that your system is not processing jackfruit properly which shows up whole when you use the bathroom, this could mean you’re not digesting it well. If you can’t break down the fruit like you should, it may pass through your body undigested. To fix this try chewing thoroughly before swallowing or only eating small amounts at a time until you know how much is safe for you. If these steps don’t help or if there’s any pain consult with a gastroenterologist for further assistance.

I have been pooping for about 2 weeks, yellow and sludge like stool. As soon as I eat, I feel the urge to poop. This started after I ate canned food from the store which was spicy. I previously know my stomach does not allow for spicy food without negative reaction, but this feels extreme. I had iron deficiency before, I took tablets and it normalised. My scalp hair growth has slowed, losing weight. I have not added a lot of vegetables to my diet.
Male | 27
You possibly have gastritis, an inflamed stomach lining. Eating spicy or canned foods worsens it. Yellow, sludge-like stools signal this condition. Frequent urges to poop after meals are common symptoms. Iron deficiency may be linked to it as well. Try cutting spicy foods, eating more veggies, and drinking lots of water. Consult a gastroenterologist if issues persist.

Hello , I have pain in my lower abdomen below my belly button and continues over my belly button and when I press my belly it hurts on the right side , I have COVID and I had some gastrointestinal symptoms could this be something more serious like appendicitis? I also have gas and burping
Male | 22
It's important to seek proper medical evaluation and treatment for your symptoms. Abdominal pain can be caused by appendicitis. And Covid 19 can also cause gastrointestinal symptoms. Inform your doctor about your symptoms, medical history, and covid19 status. Gas and burping alone are not specific to appendicitis.

Phele mujhe kafi din s fever aa rha tha ..check krvaya to usm typhoid aaya ...pr ab mujhe fever nhi hai to kya dbai Lena jrori hai
Female | 45
Typhoid causes high fever, weakness, stomach pain, and poor appetite. It comes from the bacteria, Salmonella typhi. Even though the fever's gone, you must finish antibiotics. This gets rid of bacteria fully and stops it from returning. So take medicine exactly as the doctor said.

I am 25 and I've been experiencing abdominal cramps, fever. The cramps are fine now. But now I have diarrhea and the stools are yellow and foamy and very frequent. I don't know what to do.
Female | 25
The following is an attempt to explain what could be the reason behind frequently going to the loo with a yellow, foamy stool and the way the body deals with unwanted substances. It is possibly diarrhea caused by the stomach flu or eating something that didn't sit right. To restore electrolytes, drink plenty of water and be properly hydrated. If you experience the loss of appetite, diarrhea, and vomiting that come with the condition, avoid high-fiber foods and processed carbs.

I'm experiencing pain in lower right side of abdomen from 2-3 weeks. Today I was feeling nausea with pain for few minutes in a particular fixed pain area where pain everytime occurs.
Male | 25
You're feeling sick. That pain in your belly may be appendicitis. Your appendix, a small sac, could be inflamed. Nausea, steady pain - those are warning signs. You need to see a gastroenterologist soon. Leaving appendicitis untreated is risky. If it's appendicitis, you'll likely need surgery. They'll remove your appendix to prevent complications.

What suppliments I should take for low Ferretin level
Male | 23
If you test your ferritin levels and the result is low, then you may have low iron levels. You need to think about taking iron injections but remember to seek advice from a professional doctor before beginning any new supplementation regime. You can visit a hematologist or a gastroenterologist, depending on the kind of problem causing the low level of ferritin in your body.

On 11/4/2023 there was sudden onset of burning pain and heaviness in my lower abdomen/pelvic area. Soon after I developed a fever (that lasted about 8 hours) headache and nausea. So this is day 4 and I still have pain diarrhea and nausea along with a loss of appetite(which is very unusual for me) I also thought I should shar that I had a total hysterectomy and oophorectomy in 2020 (Laparoscopic)

Stomach ache following a meal or beverage may result from many reasons. It could be from indigestion, gastritis, or even a stomach infection. The drug you took might not have been immediately effective. Consume lots of water and use only soft foods such as toast or rice. If the pain continues or intensifies, seeing a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment is imperative.

IBS patients often experience a sour stomach, leading to symptoms like bloating, cramps, and changes in bowel habits. Certain foods can worsen these symptoms, such as dairy, spicy foods, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners. Eating small meals, drinking enough water, and avoiding trigger foods can help. Fiber-rich foods and probiotics may also be beneficial. Since everyone is different, keep a food diary to track what works best for you.
