Following the usage of some pills like I-pill, the period variation is ordinary. There are some times when it will take longer for the periods to be regular again. The reproductive system can be affected by being in a state of tension that is caused by either mental or emotional stress. We can not rule out other causes of the delay in menstruation therefore if you are concerned about anything it is advisable to see a gynecologist.

I'm not getting period upto 8 days i used emergency contraception before few months and before using pills First period begin before 6 weeks
Female | 17
There may be some symptoms in your period after you have taken the emergency pills. The fact that you don't have your period is connected with the side effects of such tablets on hormones. Your body will need to settle down first and begin to operate normally like it used to. But, if the situation continues then make sure to visit a gynecologist.

I didn’t had sex from 2 months and after that i had proper periods two times but this time i am struggling i am not getting my periods is it possible that I am pregnant ?
Female | 19
Yes, it is possible to get pregnant two months after unprotected sex if the initial pregnancy test was negative or there was a delay in detecting the pregnancy. If you suspect you might be pregnant or have concerns, it's best to consult a gynecologist. They can provide the necessary tests and guidance for your situation.

I slept with my boyfriend and he released inside of me few hours ago, and I didn't take any contraptive pills, but if I take postinor 2 tomorrow, would it work?
Female | 22
Taking Postinor 2 several hours after unprotected sex may lower the probability of getting pregnant. But, it is not a safe method of birth control and may lead to side effects. It is recommended that you go to a gynecologist for proper guidance and advice on your situation as soon as possible.

To support regular cycles, consider maintaining a balanced diet, managing stress, and keeping a consistent exercise routine. However, if your period does not resume soon, it’s advisable to consult a gynecologist. They can assess your situation and provide tailored guidance to ensure your well-being.

About pregnancy that how we can avoid pregnancy and how we know the that we are pregnant
Female | 20
The best way to prevent pregnancy is to use some protection methods like condoms or birth control pills. If you are pregnant, the usual signs are missed periods, vomiting in the morning, or the breasts being sore. You can check it out with a home pregnancy test to find assurance. If you want to avoid pregnancy, then first of all you should see a gynecologist about your preferences like birth control.

My boyfriend and I had sex and he had a little bit of blood on his shaft, it was closer to his stomach so I don't think any went inside me, i haven't had any issues so far and don't have insurance, I just want to know if there's any cause for concern, we are only active with one another for the last 3 years. Thank you
Female | 24
Sometimes, blood during sex can occur due to small cuts or irritation. If no blood enters your body and you feel fine, that's a good sign. However, if you experience any unusual symptoms, it's important to see a gynecologist. Minor tears or friction can cause bleeding, but if you’re okay now, there’s likely no need to worry. Still, it’s best to get checked out if anything seems off later.

My last period date was 28 November 2024 as there is many days for my next period but iam getting pre-period blood right now what is the reason. Is it serious condition.
Female | 20
Bleeding between menstrual cycles can be experienced in many ways such as hormones, stress, or other medical problems. Pre-period bleeding, also known as spotting, is often harmless but can indicate a need for further evaluation. It's essential to monitor your symptoms and note any additional changes, like pain or unusual discharge. If this bleeding persists or causes concern, I recommend consulting a gynecologist who can provide personalized advice and reassurance.

I'm 17 years old a girl but from last 3 months I'm not getting periods. I don't why and what could be the reason?
Female | 17
This is called amenorrhea. It can happen because of things like stress, really hard exercise or losing/gaining a lot of weight. If you’ve been having sex, pregnancy might be another reason. You need to see a gynecologist to find out what’s going on. They can help you figure out why it’s happening and what to do about it.

The first day of my last period was 22nd December 2024, and it lasted 4 days. I was supposed to start my next period on 22nd January, 2025. However, I have not had it till today (31st Jan, 2025). I had protected sex on 12th January, in which condoms were used and my partner pulled out at the time of ejaculation. What are the chances I might be pregnant? Should I take a test? Am I just late? History of medical conditions: I have had irregular periods, i.e., a few days late in the past, and my cycles sometimes extended to 39 days. However, this is the longest cycle, and my last two periods have been shorter than usual ( 4 days instead of my usual 5 days). I had intercourse on 12th January with a barrier (condoms) and my partner pulled out at the time of ejaculation. Previous history of current medical complaint: My periods used to be irregular, I have recently gained weight, and I suffer from facial hair growth, etc. I also have taken Plan B pills on 2 separate occasions in the last year. My longest cycle was 39 days, and periods came a couple days after the predicted date. However, this is the longest delay I've experienced in the past. Current medication details: None History of medication for the same complaint: None lab tests done: None Height, Weight Height Weight 5' 3" (160.02 cm) 167 lbs (75.75 kg)
Female | 22
It's understandable to feel concerned about your missed period, especially with a history of irregular cycles. While protected sex reduces the risk of pregnancy, no method is 100% effective. Given your cycle history and recent changes in your body, stress or hormonal fluctuations could contribute to this delay. I recommend taking a home pregnancy test for peace of mind. If it’s negative and your period doesn’t start soon, consider consulting a gynecologist for thorough evaluation and personalized advice.

After using birth control pills long-term, your body adjusts when you stop. It's normal for your cycle to take time to normalize. Worrying is okay, but consult a gynecologist. They'll advise you personally on conceiving.

I have missed my periods for three months
Female | 17
Missing periods for 3 months isn't normal. Stress causes irregular cycles. Big weight gain or loss disrupts hormones. Conditions like PCOS prevent normal ovulation. You might feel tired, bloated, moody. If issues continue, see a gynecologist for medical guidance.

I recently had unprotected anal sex. Ejaculate was expelled shortly afterwards and then I took a shower. Less a few hours later, my partner placed a finger in anal cavity and then into my vagina; could this result in a pregnancy? Thanks….
Female | 23
When an egg is fertilized, that is called pregnancy. A sperm can swim and it can live for a little while outside the body. Pregnancy may occur if any sperm gets into your vagina. Keep an eye on strange symptoms such as missed periods or feeling sick (nausea). If you’re concerned, take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease.

Breast discharge and pcos
Female | 19
If you have breast discharge, PCOS might be causing it. PCOS makes your body produce excess androgens. Androgens disrupt menstrual cycles, resulting in breast discharge. Symptoms: irregular periods, breast tenderness. Managing PCOS requires medication and lifestyle changes. Get breast discharge checked by a gynecologist. They'll ensure there are no underlying issues.

My periods is usually regular but suddenly it is 4 days late. And I did sexual intercourse in the first day ,when my periods should have came. What to do?
Female | 23
A delay can be the result of a variety of reasons, from stress to hormonal fluctuations to a change in one's lifestyle. A panicky feeling may result from engaging in sexual intercourse close to the time of the expected period and thus affect the cycle. To eliminate the possibility of pregnancy, which is one of the main sources of this anxiety, think of the home pregnancy test. If the home test confirms that you are not pregnant, and your menstruation does not start within a short period, or if you observe abnormal symptoms, I would suggest seeking advice and reassurance by talking to a gynecologist provider.

Hello, my virgins is itching and making me uncomfortable. What drugs can you recommend?
Female | 23
Itching in that area can be caused by various factors, such as irritation, infections, or allergies. Common symptoms may include redness or discomfort. Over-the-counter solutions like hydrocortisone cream or antifungal products can offer relief. However, it's important to avoid self-diagnosing, as the root cause may require specific treatment. I encourage you to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice and proper assessment.
