Side effects may arise after stopping the medication suddenly, particularly if it's for a mental disorder such as schizophrenia. The symptoms you are having such as vomiting, irritability, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, and dry mouth may be because of this sudden change. It's necessary to talk to your psychiatrist about this, doing so you'll be able to get rid of them safely. They might recommend decreasing the dose step by step or shifting to another drug to prevent adverse effects.

It seems like anxiety may be the cause. Feeling nervous or troubled happens. Your breathing gets tough. Anxiety arises from stress. Or it could stem from genes. Some medical issues can lead to it too. But you can manage through techniques like relaxation. Regular exercise helps.

Can i take ibuprofen with clonazepam together
Female | 26
Taking ibuprofen and clonazepam together isn't recommended unless your doctor approves it. If combined without medical advice, there's an elevated risk of undesirable effects: drowsiness, dizziness, breathing difficulties. Therefore, consult your psychiatrist before using these medications concurrently. They may suggest timing adjustments or alternative treatments to address your symptoms securely.

"I ingested 50 mg of amitriptyline all at once on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 1 pm. It has been more than 48 hours since the ingestion, and I haven't experienced any severe symptoms. After taking the medication, I slept for almost around 24 hours. I also have IBS, and I'm concerned about any potential long-term effects or complications related to the overdose. Am I now in the safe zone? When would it be safe to resume my prescribed amitriptyline dose of 10 mg twice a day? Should I undergo any tests or monitoring before resuming the medication, or would it be safe to wait for a week and then restart my regular dose?"
Female | 23
Glad to know that you have not been experiencing any severe symptoms after taking 50 mg of amitriptyline. The fact that you slept for a long time could be a side effect of the medication. If you're feeling alright now and the time gone is more than two days there's probably nothing serious about it. Whatever the case, you should stay off your usual dosage of 10 mg twice a day for a week first. The best thing to do is to see a doctor if you experience any peculiar signs during that period.

It's your brain's way of dealing with too much strain. But don't worry – some things help. Take deep breaths. Try yoga poses or go for walks. Talk with friends or family you can trust. See a psychiatrist if symptoms linger.

So I went to notice that my child is also having it and it makes me feel like I have failed her so bad. She would just cry in everything and have a very short temper, that it sometimes hard for her to concentrate. Please I want to help her before it is too late, what is the first step that I can do.is there any over the counter medication that I can get for her
Female | 10
If your kids are crying easily, getting mad quickly, and can’t pay attention, they might have something called “childhood depression.” You did not cause this. It is nobody’s fault. One thing I would do is talk with a therapist/psychiatrist. There might be other ways doctors can think of to help your child and family.

It seems that you may be going through a type of depersonalization. That means that a person can observe life like an outside spectator from the viewpoint of seeing himself/herself acting. It can be associated with anxiety, stress, and other mental health issues as well. It is highly advised to communicate with someone you trust or a counselor about how you feel. They will be able to provide you with coping mechanisms. Besides, resting well, eating properly, and take a couple of breaths or practising mindfulness can also be beneficial to keep your mind at peace.

I am 23 year old currently working as an assistant Professor, but for past 3years I have developed the habit of talking while sleeping and sometimes I'm shouting out of fear in the night while sleeping this was told by my mother. What is the reason. I want reduce this.
Female | 23
You may have something called sleep talking or night terrors. When one is stressed or anxious, they may talk or shout while normally sleeping. You can try to reduce the stress before going to bed by using some relaxation techniques or maybe even have a quiet bedtime routine. But if that doesn’t work out then I would advise you to see a sleep specialist who will be able to help further.

I am a 18 year old female , I’ve been struggling to eat for the past month because I eat small portions and I feel uncomfortable in my own skin as if I can’t take the small portions of food anymore it’s been happening for over a month
Female | 18
When eating small portions makes you uncomfortable, it's important to ask for help. This isn't normal behavior. It could signal anxiety, stomach issues, or an eating disorder. Don't ignore these signs. Trusted friends or family can support you in getting to the root cause. Seeking professional counseling from a psychiatrist may also provide clarity.

You mentioned trouble sleeping for 2 months. That's a long time - insomnia can feel exhausting. Many factors like stress, anxiety, and poor habits contribute. Simple exercises like deep breaths or light yoga before bed may improve sleep quality. Avoiding screens close to bedtime and maintaining a routine sleep schedule are also beneficial. However, if difficulties persist despite these efforts, seeking medical advice is recommended.

Dealing with anxiety issues due to past experiences can be challenging, but there is a big community of people out there who are also experiencing this. Symptoms include feeling worried, tense, or having trouble sleeping. Such incidents as accidents or loss can be used as examples of trauma that can cause this. To feel better, therapy can be very efficient. Expressing your emotions and learning to deal with problems might really turn you into an oaring ship. Relaxation techniques and exercise can also be some other means of mental quiescence precursor. Hang in there, you can get through this.

Can I stop 50 mg zoloft cold turkey after 6 days of use?
Female | 25
Taking a 50mg Zoloft dose abruptly for 6 days without medical advice is not the right thing to do. The abrupt termination of this medicine can produce withdrawal of the symptoms and may affect your undesirable mental health. A psychiatrist or a mental health professional would counsel reducing the medicine very slowly and supervising you closely.
