You mentioned trouble sleeping for 2 months. That's a long time - insomnia can feel exhausting. Many factors like stress, anxiety, and poor habits contribute. Simple exercises like deep breaths or light yoga before bed may improve sleep quality. Avoiding screens close to bedtime and maintaining a routine sleep schedule are also beneficial. However, if difficulties persist despite these efforts, seeking medical advice is recommended.

I am 23 year old currently working as an assistant Professor, but for past 3years I have developed the habit of talking while sleeping and sometimes I'm shouting out of fear in the night while sleeping this was told by my mother. What is the reason. I want reduce this.
Female | 23
You may have something called sleep talking or night terrors. When one is stressed or anxious, they may talk or shout while normally sleeping. You can try to reduce the stress before going to bed by using some relaxation techniques or maybe even have a quiet bedtime routine. But if that doesn’t work out then I would advise you to see a sleep specialist who will be able to help further.

I'm 26 I have autism ocd Suspected ADHD and suspected fibromyalgia I'm taking 15mg of escitalopram It's making me fall asleep from 6 am to 8 am What should I do? I take it in the evening
Male | 26
Escitalopram might be making you feel too drowsy in the morning like it's the reason you are going to sleep. This case is more or less the same with some people. An example of one thing you might do is to consume it earlier in the evening, for instance, right before you eat. This way, you may later be tired but not in the morning. If the problem continues, bring it up with your doctor.

You might be experiencing a condition called obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) which is related to your cleanliness and fear of contamination. It is characterized by unreasonable anxiety and the necessity to wash your hands or clean objects several times. This may be a result of a mix of hereditary, brain, and environmental factors. Treatment may include therapy and medication which are prescribed by a psychiatrist.

I’m taking Effexor and am having troubles sexually and skip my doses 2-3 days in advance but have nausea, dizziness and diarrhea. Is there a way to combat that without changing meds or adding anything? Can I use anti diarrhea pills or something?
Male | 37
If Effexor is missed, some withdrawal symptoms can set in like nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea. To mitigate these issues, the drug should be taken consistently. Even though over-the-counter anti-diarrhea medication can provide short-term relief, the best way to deal with the problem is by adhering to the prescription. If you are still worried, it’s advisable to seek further advice from a psychiatrist.

I've had this issue for a long time; the notion of having sex with my family members crosses my mind, and even though I know it's not ethically proper, I can't stop myself. Even the notion that the person with whom I want to have sex wants to have sex with me occurs to me. As a result, I've been into a lot of difficulty. I am always depressed.
