Why am I experiencing continuous body twitching?
I was twitching all night and when I was awake too and that never happened before. Took magnesium but that did not help. Now still feeling like I am about to twitch again like electricity running through my body

Answered on 16th July '24
Muscle twitches occur for varying reasons. Stress, lack of sleep, or excessive caffeine intake can trigger them. Alternatively, vitamin deficiencies may be the culprit. Since magnesium didn't alleviate your symptoms, trying other supplements or consulting a neurologist might be beneficial. Additionally, ensuring adequate hydration and rest could potentially mitigate the twitching.

This might be a few things such as stress, sleeplessness, and bad food quality. Using alpha GPC tablets can be a way to boost your memory and concentration. My legs are having weakness. Feel like sleeping a lot. Neck pain due to cervical slso. Don't feel like eating anything
Female | 48
You seem to feel weakened as your legs are not strong. Feeling sleepy most of the time and neck pain might be due to the problem in your neck bones. Not being hungry is also one of the consequences of the issue. Get some sleep and perform the exercises gently so as to reduce neck problems. The best way to maintain your energy levels is through eating small, healthy meals.

I experienced a fall from a chair backward and received a blow to the back right side of my head, behind the ears. There's a small swelling, but it's entirely painless, with no accompanying symptoms such as vomiting, headache, nausea, or confusion. It's been 40 days, and the swelling persists without any pain. What course of action would you recommend I take?
Male | 20
It's good that you don't have severe symptoms like headache, nausea, or confusion. However, since the swelling has persisted for 40 days, it's important to get it checked. I recommend visiting a neurologist to ensure there are no underlying issues.

I have diagnosed epilepsy, and I currently take 200mg of lamotrigine. I am still experiencing frequent seizures and also cluster seizures. I would like to discuss if I would have any options to add another medication alongside lamotrigine to try and control my seizures.
Female | 26
You’re still having seizures despite taking lamotrigine. It’s a medication commonly used for epilepsy. When seizures continue, adding another medication may help control them. Your doctor may suggest options such as levetiracetam or valproic acid. These medicines work in different ways to prevent seizures. Discuss with your doctor to find the best option for you.
