Answered on 4th Sept '24
You're having trouble sleeping. Not getting enough sleep can make one feel tired and grumpy. Common causes of this can be stress, drinking caffeine before bed, or staring at screens late at night. Try to calm down at night by reading a book or having a hot bath. Avoid caffeine as well as screens. If the problem persists, you may want to seek a professional for advice.

This feeling may be due to; a nerve in the back being pressed on or even bad posture. When sitting or standing up you are doing so as straight as possible. You are suffering from a tension headache. A typical characteristic of this problem is that you constantly feel like a tight band is wrapping around the head. A person may get this headache due to the brain's reaction to a stressful, tense environment, constant poor body mechanics, or eyestrain. One way to alleviate it is to relax, maintain good posture, and have screen breaks. Easy and gentle exercises for the neck can also be quite helpful. In addition to keeping your body hydrated and well-rested, you can treat yourself to a regular massage.

I am a 19 year old female and I have been experiencing severe headache since over 6 months. My headache occurs very frequently sometimes everyday and sometimes very 2 days. It start with my head feeling dizzy and uncomfortable and my vision getting a bit blurry just for a fraction of seconds and then my hands start to shiver and I start feeling retsless and nervous. Sometimes I also get sharp pain on one specific point of my head and it feels like sharp poke which lasts for a good minute and sometimes I feel slight ring in my ear before the headache begins. initially my headache used to start from my nose feeling a weird buzzing sensation following with a sharp tight pain in the back of the crown of my head. And this headach happened usually when I lied down.

It sounds like you may be experiencing a migraine. Migraines can cause severe headaches along with symptoms like dizziness, blurred vision, shaky hands, restlessness, and sharp head pain. Some people also experience a buzzing sound or ringing in their ears. Try tracking your headaches and possible triggers, such as stress, lack of sleep, or certain foods. Stay hydrated, eat regular meals, and practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or light exercise. A periventricular cyst present in your MRI report might be causing these headaches. These cysts are sacs filled with fluid exerting pressure on your brain and causing headaches. It is important to follow up with your doctor so they can look into other treatment options like maybe some drugs or even surgery depending on how serious the cyst is. Try to keep positive about everything and continue telling your neurologist about any new developments in your condition.

I have diagnosed epilepsy, and I currently take 200mg of lamotrigine. I am still experiencing frequent seizures and also cluster seizures. I would like to discuss if I would have any options to add another medication alongside lamotrigine to try and control my seizures.
Female | 26
You’re still having seizures despite taking lamotrigine. It’s a medication commonly used for epilepsy. When seizures continue, adding another medication may help control them. Your doctor may suggest options such as levetiracetam or valproic acid. These medicines work in different ways to prevent seizures. Discuss with your doctor to find the best option for you.

When someone one trying to get alpha gpc for focusing on study then what dosage you give for 19 age
Male | 19
If you're considering Alpha GPC to enhance your studies, proceed with caution. A safe daily dose for a 19-year-old is 300-600 mg, but it's best to start with a lower dose for a few days to see how your body responds. While Alpha GPC may improve cognitive function, remember to maintain a balanced diet, stay hydrated, and get enough sleep for overall health and focus.

Actually my father had a mini stroke last week. After that we visited doctor they did ct scan and ecg tests. Everything was normal but the ct scan report said that in the left side of brain its little bit injured due to high blood pressure. Now, from 5-6 days he is unable to do any work with his right hand, rest everything is ok. And also he forgot his atm pin, where he kept documents and all.
Male | 47
It sounds like he might have experienced a small stroke (mini-stroke or TIA). It's good that the CT scan and ECG were normal, but the injury on the left side of the brain could be causing the weakness in his right hand and memory issues. I would advise you to consult a neurologist for further evaluation and management.

Hi there, I am a 19 year old female. I am born in London, UK. I am currently away on holiday in Saudi Arabia. It’s currently around 40 degrees. I was walking whilst holding my bags & I suddenly became unable to see for a second & felt sick and dizzy. I felt like my heart was beating really fast and I could not breathe properly. I sat down and tried to cool down & drank cold water. After resting, I got up in the attempt to continue walking however, I felt really faint and my heart was beating even faster again. I felt my eyes rolling, I didn’t entirely faint and black out but it felt as if I were going to. I sat down and got escorted by a golf cart. However, I am unsure if I am okay or what it is I should do. I want to know what happened. I do still feel lightheaded and sick. But I am not sweating or red anymore.
Female | 19
You may have gone through heat exhaustion. This is when your body's internal thermometer becomes too hot and fails to function properly. The symptoms arising from such illness include, but are not limited to, faintness, dizziness, experiencing a fast heart rate as well as the feeling of nausea. The solution is to move to a cool area, drink water, and rest. Avoid the scorching sun and keep your body as cool as possible.

Male | 69
The symptoms of difficulty eating and speaking are the general ones that occur after a brain stroke. It may be attributed to the muscles used for swallowing being weak. Seeing that he mentioned no problem swallowing and eating by himself, you can slowly start to give him food by mouth. Begin with soft, easy-to-swallow foods and keep track of his progress. Do not forget to communicate with his healthcare team along the way.

Female | 38
It feels like you might have sinusitis. Sinusitis can make one side of your head hurt, swell up your face, or affect your sight. This occurs when the sinuses in your face become infected or inflamed. Try putting warm wet towels on your face, drinking lots of water, and using saline nasal sprays. If it still hurts, contact a healthcare provider for further treatment.
