This should not pose a problem when trying to conceive after gallbladder removal. In terms of your menstrual cycle, recovery time is different for all and can take a few weeks to several months. If you want to know more about this, see an obstetrician/gynecologist.

I am 30 years old I have heartburn, acid reflux and gas in my stomach and I can see mucus on stool (poop) please help me
Male | 30
The symptoms you're describing, like heartburn, acid reflux, bloating, and mucus in your stool, could be due to a stomach infection or eating foods that don't agree with your body. Spicy and fatty foods can worsen these symptoms. It's a good idea to eat slowly, avoid foods that trigger your symptoms, and stay hydrated with water. If the symptoms continue, it's important to see a gastroenterologist for further evaluation.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek your guidance regarding some health concerns that I have been experiencing, which have significantly impacted my quality of life. For some time now, I have been dealing with a condition that has led to people around me closing their nose, sniffing, coughing and having runny nose when around me. My parent could not perceive this odour so does the doctors and GP when I went there. This situation has resulted in feelings of isolation and anxiety, making it difficult for me to navigate social interactions, particularly in my university environment. I have been diagnosed with psychosis and given medication and everything is still happening around me. I'm also experiencing severe bloating, gas, and digestive issues like diarrhea/constipation. I’ve read that these symptoms can be linked to gut imbalances like bacterial overgrowth, and I want to explore if that’s the case with me I have previously attempted to reach out for help, but I have faced dismissive attitudes regarding my concerns, which has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I suspect my symptoms may be linked to a condition such as trimethylaminuria (TMAU) or a gut-related issue like small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). However, I have yet to receive a clear diagnosis or effective management plan. Given my experiences and the impact they have had on my mental health and daily life, I would greatly appreciate your insight. I am particularly interested in any tests or referrals that may be appropriate for diagnosing my condition, as well as recommendations for managing the associated symptoms. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response and any advice you may be able to provide.
Male | 20
The symptoms you mentioned might be associated with a condition such as trimethylaminuria (TMAU) or a gut issue known as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). TMAU refers to the main odor complications, while SIBO leads to bloating, gassy, and gut issues like diarrhea or constipation. It's imperative to obtain the actual diagnosis by carrying out tests such as breath tests or blood tests. The treatment may involve changing the diet, probiotics, antibiotics, or other medications that will help to control your symptoms.

I am 26 year old female patient. My problem since 04 days back conspiracy(Kabj)
Female | 26
Constipation is the inability to poop regularly. Symptoms are bloating, stomach pain, and not pooping every day. Causes can be not eating enough fiber, not drinking enough water, or not moving enough. To help with this, try eating more fruits, and veggies, and drinking a lot of water.

I recently had typhoid & some bacteria infection and was given some medication but after the medication I still feel a little unwell (not so intense) I feel a little het from within
Male | 29
Even after taking the medication, if you're still feeling a bit unwell and experiencing internal heat, it might mean there are still some lingering issues. The problem of bacteria being incompletely cleared out which leads to persistent symptoms is one of the possible explanations. Hydration, taking adequate rest, and going for further observations and treatment are the most important tips to be followed with a gastroenterologist to stay healthy.

my stomach hurts it has been hurting for a couple days now. It is a sharp stabbing pain.
Female | 19
Greetings! Stomach discomfort, I understand your concern. Sharp, stabbing aches lasting days might indicate various causes. Perhaps food disagreed with your system or an infection is present. Staying hydrated and consuming mild, simple meals could provide relief. However, if pain persists or intensifies, visiting a gastroenterologist would be prudent.

Some gastric problems and bimetic and stomach feel heavy Fever cold dry cough body pain since 10 _15 days
Female | 50
You are experiencing some stomach upset and feeling sluggish as well. If you have had a fever, cold, dry cough, or/and muscle aches for the last fortnight or more, this might indicate gastroenteritis (stomach flu) or other viral infections. Rest, take fluids only in plenty, and eat simple easily digestible meals. If the condition persists or becomes severe seek medical attention without delay.

Severe stomach ache because of being punched
Female | 23
If you happen to encounter severe abdominal pain that resulted from a punch to the stomach, consult a doctor immediately. It may suggest the existence of some internal injuries such as torn organs or bleeding from inside the body. Make a follow-up appointment with a gastroenterologist for a more thorough examination and treatment.

I Have not been eating, drinking or sleeping well for the past few weeks, sore throat, peeling in vaginal area but no lesions and not itchy, Came out positive in a nose cukture with Enterobacter aerogenes, UTI
Female | 19
The symptoms you’ve mentioned might be due to Enterobacter aerogenes. This type of bacteria can infect different organs of the body. The treatment is mostly carried out by doctors through the use of antibiotics which help eliminate the infection. Ensure that you take your medication as instructed by your gastroenterologist and all will be fine.

Male | 24

Severe discomfort, difficulty swallowing, or vomiting necessitates immediate medical attention. Testing and potential bone removal aid from a gastroenterologist could prove vital.

I take Aciclovir dispersible tablet approx 1 week & due to this there have arise a problem that .... there is pain in my stomach & also cause weakness arise
Female | 21
Aciclovir dispersible tablets could cause stomach aches. You might feel weak too. That's because the tablets irritate your stomach lining sometimes. Take them with food to avoid irritation. Drink lots of water. Eat small, mild meals. This helps with the weakness. If stomach pain or weakness continues, talk to a gastroenterologist.

Couldn't eat anything coz of gastritis and I'm only taking avocado juice for almost a month. I feel fatigue and have headaches with dizziness.
Female | 29
Gastritis can make eating hard, and having avocado juice isn't giving your body all it needs. Symptoms like fatigue, headaches, and dizziness can happen when you lack essential nutrients. To feel better, try eating small, gentle meals. Foods such as oatmeal, bananas, or toast can be friendly to your stomach. Rest and stay hydrated as well.

Vomiting with loose motion as well as some fever and body pain happening what medicines I should prefer
Female | 20
It sounds like you may have had stomach flu, which will very likely lead to vomiting and diarrhoea. Besides, the fever and aches in the body is also caused by this bug. In order to speed up your recovery process, you may use non-prescription drugs such as acetaminophen for the fever and body pain. To stay hydrated, make sure you drink a lot of water and, at the same time, rest so that your body can fight the infection. If it lasts consult a gastroenterologist.

Stomach pain after taking I pill
Female | 34
Emergency birth control pills occasionally cause abdominal discomfort. Their effect irritates the stomach lining, inducing temporary ache. Resolve symptoms naturally by consuming plain foods, drinking water, and resting sufficiently. However, persistent severe pain demands contacting a gastroenterologist promptly. Mild indigestion usually subsides independently within reasonable duration.

Hi. I ate leftover food from last night for lunch. It was in the microwave last night and morning time I put it in the refrigerator. It didn't smell bad when I smelled it and it didn't make me sick when I ate it. But I was worried to much if I made a mistake eating it. So I forced myself to throw it out. Please advise ????
Female | 22
Consuming food that has been out of reach for a certain amount of time might result in food intoxication. The symptoms of food poisoning may include aches, discomfort, cramps, nausea, and vomiting. If there is no evidence of these symptoms after you eat the food, it's likely that your body didn’t react.

Good morning sir My son 6 years old age ,he is suffering from cyclical vomiting cyndrome from last 3 years ,but now he is some better comparative to previous years, but he has frequently stomach upset, then loose motions come, then vomitings occurred.what should he ate again vomiting occurred.please help us sir.Thanking you
Male | 6
Cyclical vomiting is also associated with many gastric problems. You need to get an upper Gastrointestinal scope to rule out any lesions associated with the gastrointestinal tract. You need to focus on healthy food habits to prevent such events. It is always advisable to investigate the condition so that we can catch any problem at an early stage.

I just want to know if there is issues with my stomach, it's just that some times when ever I have a meal in the morning, I just feel that my stomach doesn't feel too well
Male | 31
It seems you have a food problem. You may feel full fast after you eat. Your tummy may expand. You may feel bad in your gut. Eat small meals slowly. Do not eat spicy foods. Do not drink too much coffee or booze. Do not lie down right after you eat. If you still don't feel better, go see a gastroenterologist.

My boyfriend had, what I suspect to be, Norovirus 8 days ago. He had diarrhea for about 18 to 22 hours, and he only had one bout of vomiting, which he believes was due to the Mountain Dew he drank on an upset stomach. Since its been 8 days since his symptoms have stopped, would it be safe to engage in close contact activities like kissing again?
Male | 23
Norovirus is a bug. It can make your stomach feel bad. After it goes away, wait a bit before kissing. This makes sure it is all gone. 8 days since his last symptoms are good. But wait longer to be safe. Washing hands well stops the spread.

I’m a 24 year old male I started feeling unwell on April 25 by the next day I felt tired diarrhea started on Sunday morning and is still going to today. I tried over the top anti diarrhea medication and no relief. Last two nights a had chills followed by night sweats. Is there anything else I can do.
Male | 24
You have signs of being tired, having loose poop, shaking, and sweating at night. Many things can cause these signs like germs or bad food. It is key to drink lots of water and drinks with salt and minerals. Eat soft foods and rest up. If you feel worse or these signs do not go away, go see a gastroenterologist.

Sharp Pain under rib cage, pain comes and go, sometimes immobilized, pain goes away if pressure is applied
Male | 35
A sudden burning pain in the front that appears and disappears, grows very bad, but is relieved by slight pressure can be caused by a disorder called costochondritis. It is the situation when the cartilage inflaming that attaches the ribs to the chest bone happens. Resting, applying heat or ice, and taking over-the-counter pain medication can also be tried. If you are still in pain then you need to seek advice from an orthopedist.

I was having a leg pain and my sister gave me a drug that was made of diclofenac-misoprostol. After taking the drug I had intense lower abdominal pain and bled. I’m a virgin and I’m afraid that affected my hymen.
Female | 22
Combinational drug diclofenac-misoprostol is widely used to alleviate pain symptoms. But it may cause some severe side effects including abdominal pain and bleeding, especially in patients with ulcer history. If any of these symptoms occur, you should visit a gastroenterologist immediately. It is highly advised that you do not take any medications unless a doctor has prescribed such.
