Having sexual intercourse barely two days after the period ends has a huge pregnancy risk because the ovaries possibly produce eggs early in your cycle. One such example would be the morning-after pill with errors like the I-pill which should be taken within an hour of unprotected sex to lower the chances of fertilization else you can get pregnant. Nonetheless, it does not expose the rate of 100 percent. It is better to talk to a gynecologist to find out more information.

Is PCOS stomach pain normal during cardio exercise?
Female | 16
PCOS causes stomach pain during cardio exercise. The pain feels like a dull ache. Hormone imbalances in your body lead to this. Additionally, small cysts develop on the ovaries. Walking or swimming, low-impact exercises can reduce this pain. Instead of high-intensity cardio, these are better.

I was a virgin until May 5, 2024. My partner and i tried to have sex, but in his words, he never came at the same time he did not have precum. He also said that he did not put it in all the way. (Before i continue, a little back story, i have this 21 hormonal pill pack. I know we have the 21 and the 28 pack. I have the 21. I use this pack to regulate my period since i have PCOS also prescribed by my doctor. Though for the past few months feb-may i should be off my pills to see if my period regulated again ordered by my doctor. I had no period on feb and march but did on april.) After 2 hrs of unprotected sex, i took 1 pill from the 21 pill pack that i have. Then 4 days later i took 5 pills for 5 consecutive days. Then stopped after the 5 days. (Back story: in the 21 pill pack, you have a 7 day break to wait to get your period. Sometimes it comes within the 7 days. Sometimes it comes after the 7 days. After the 7 day break you have to restart and take a pill and continue for 20 more days as said in the instructions. With period or not). So the 5 days were May 10,11,12,13,14. On May 22 i got my period. When i checked the calendar i realized there was a 7 day break in between before i got my period. My period started on May 22 and ended on May 26. And i know it was my period because, it looked like my period everytime i get it. Dark red blood, blood clots, lasted 3-5 days, abdominal cramps with matching lower back pain, bleeding through my pad. Smelled like my period everytime i get it. Questions: 1. Is there a possibility for pregnancy? 2. Did i mess up my hormones? 3. Did i mess up my PCOS? 4. How is it possible that i took 5 pills from a 21 pill pack had the 7 day break and had my period?
Female | 24
There isn’t much of a chance that you’re pregnant. Your partner didn’t ejaculate, and there wasn’t any pre-cum. Also, your period came on time. If you take extra pills or have breaks in your pack, it can sometimes affect your hormones. However, only making this kind of short-term change may not result in long-term problems. Getting your period after taking 5 pills and then going off them could have caused some hormonal changes but if eventually things evened out when it came back.

Hello, I'm MA, have not seen my period for the past 6 months , i just turned 40 in January,2024. I will like to know if there's any medication for me to get my period back. Kind regards
Female | 40
No period for 6 months at age 40 could be coming from menopause. Women have been known to stop having periods during this phase of their life and I think you should look into it with a gynecologist. This deserves to be confirmed by a doctor and any other symptoms you may be experiencing like heat waves or mood swings discussed as well. On the other hand, no medicine can bring back menses once this time has started.

can small intramurial fibroid cause prolonge periods
Female | 34
Yes, small fibroids inside the uterus can sometimes make periods last longer. This occurs because the fibroid disrupts normal menstrual flow. Heavy bleeding and extended periods are common symptoms. While the exact cause is unknown, hormones likely influence fibroid growth. Treatment may involve medication or surgical removal of the fibroid, depending on severity. It's wise to consult a gynecologist for personalized guidance on managing this condition.

And there is no burning sensation But I have this problem that It feels like pee has come but it hasn't. And my labia is also And my one side is in labia is less red color
Female | 22
You are likely referring to some modifications in your vaginal area. The redness, swelling, and mucus could be an infection or irritant. Sometimes, changes in color and texture can also be due to the fluctuations of hormones. Even though you have no pain or burning, it is important to see a gynecologist to find the exact cause and get appropriate treatment.

Female | 25
You might be experiencing early signs of pregnancy. Sometimes, if your period is late along with symptoms like nausea and clear discharge, it could indicate pregnancy. To be sure, take a home pregnancy test. If it’s negative, the delay could be due to stress or hormonal changes.

Irregular periods have symptoms of missed periods, like periods coming very often and lasting too long. Hormonal imbalances, stress, weight fluctuations, or health issues can cause this. Hi - I am currently pregnant and need a clarity on my conception date. To give a bit of background- I was on combined contraceptive pills (Ovranette) until 9th of March, when I came off it after finishing a pill pack. I got my withdrawal bleeding on 12th March(which I consider as the first day of myLMP) I tested positive for pregnancy on 11th April when my periods didn’t arrive. I had two ultrasound scan so far - one on 2nd May when the gestation age was measured as 7 weeks 2 days as per ultrasound and the second one on 9th May when the gestation age was measured as 8 weeks 2 days as per ultrasound. Since I conceived the next month after coming off pill, I need some clarity on when did the conception happen. I had 2 times sexual intercourse during this time - one on 12th March (couple of hours before commencing my withdrawal bleeding) and the next one on 23rd March - would like to know which intercourse has resulted in the pregnancy
Female | 32
According to what you’ve said it’s more likely that the sexual intercourse on 23rd March caused your pregnancy. Typically, a pregnancy test becomes positive about 4 weeks after conception which matches the dates. Having taken the pill, you can easily mistake withdrawal bleeding for your normal period. Some symptoms such as positive pregnancy tests and ultrasound findings indicate that it happened after 12th March. The best thing to do now is keep seeing a gynecologist.

I have delivered a baby on 3rd September 2024 through c section. On 28th November I had my periods. Today it's 4th day . I am having heavy mensurational bleeding. Need consultation
Female | 30
It's normal to have heavy periods after childbirth. This might be caused by hormone changes or your body’s recovery process. Make sure you drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and opt for pads instead of tampons. In case the bleeding persists or you are not feeling well, then you should consult a gynecologist.

I had my last period on October 18th, and I had unprotected sex on October 26th. On November 24th, I took a pregnancy test, which showed two lines, confirming that I am pregnant. I want to terminate this pregnancy, and I am considering a home abortion using pills. However, I have some concerns because I had an iron deficiency and was taking iron tablets for about two to three months. Given this, is it safe for me to proceed with a home abortion by taking pills?
Female | 21
Iron deficiency can make different medical treatments more dangerous, including abortion pills. The main issue is increased bleeding, which is a dangerous effect of having low iron. Before taking home abortion pills, it is very important to consult a gynecologist. It may help you with iron and also show you the best choices for termination.

Delayed periods negative pregnancy test can I be pregnant
Female | 25
Menstrual delays without conceiving when the results of a pregnancy test are negative is such a contradiction, but there are some reasons for that. Whether it be stress, weight changes, or hormonal imbalances, they can all contribute to your periods. Bloating, soreness in the breast, and mood swings are some other symptoms that you may face. You have to face it by attempting to cut down the stress overloads and keeping weight at decent levels, and if that does not work you could talk with a gynecologist for the rest of the tests.

I’m having lower abdominal cramp not much and I noticed frequency in urination also I consumed a lot of what
Female | 28
When you've to pee more frequently, it could be a urinary tract infection. Germs enter your bladder or urethra, causing this. You'll feel like peeing often and have mild cramps below your belly. Drink plenty of water, don't hold your pee, try cranberry juice. If it persists, see a gynecologist. These simple steps may relieve your discomfort. But, if symptoms worsen, medical attention is advised.
