It's important to address any discomfort or changes you experience in your intimate area. Common concerns may include itchiness, unusual discharge, or irritation, often caused by infections, hormonal changes, or allergies. To manage these symptoms, consider maintaining proper hygiene and wearing breathable clothing. Over-the-counter treatments may help, but I recommend consulting a gynecologist for an accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plan.

I am 17 years old female and I found blood during masturbation 2-3 times
Female | 17
It’s frightening to see blood during masturbation, unfortunately, it’s not an uncommon situation. The possible causes may be a tiny tear to the vagina or the hymen (a thin tissue in the vagina), hormonal variations are other causes. Furthermore, the infection might also lead to this state. Try to keep your composure and do not perform any harsh movements. Moreover, if it keeps going or you are not relaxed, it will always be a good choice to get a second opinion from a gynecologist.

I'm 24 years present month my periods comes not for time what reasons late period
Female | 24
Hormone levels fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle, which can sometimes cause a late period. Rapid weight loss or gain can also disrupt menstruation. Additionally, an unbalanced diet high in carbs or fats and lacking essential vitamins and minerals may lead to irregular periods. If your period is absent for an extended time or you experience symptoms like pain or unusual odors, it’s best to see a gynecologist, as this could indicate an infection.

I have two queries . First that I have pcos and my USG shows right ovary bulky what is the treatment as I have heavy periods irregular and a lot of pain. Secondly does rubbing genitals when one person is naked and another is wearing nikker causes pregnancy. ?
Female | 25
For PCOS, an enlarged right ovary may cause heavy periods, irregular cycles, and pain. Treatment focuses on managing symptoms like regulating periods and reducing pain. Contraceptive pills, exercise, and medications can help address these issues. As for your second question, rubbing genitals without clothes generally doesn’t result in pregnancy, but it’s advisable to use protection to avoid any risks. If you continue to have concerns, consulting a gynecologist is recommended.

Hi doctor, myself Ankana, I missed my periods this month, I was having pains in leg and chest which was quite normal before periods and also I've white bumps on my beasts and also it is painting sometimes. One more thing I have no thyroid issue and my hemoglobin level is also okay.. I'm in stress for a long times .. Can u guide me please doctor.. Iam scared like I've breast cancer aur tumor..
Female | 19
Skipping a period sometimes happens when you're stressed; it doesn't always mean cancer. The aches in your leg and chest might be hormonal changes. The white bumps on your breasts could be harmless cysts or related to hormone shifts. Relax, find ways to de-stress, and see a gynecologist for a check-up.

Hello, am a 23 years old female, i been having brown discharge for approximately 3 weeks after i finishedy period by a week, at the being there was a slight itching but so far there isnt and there is no pain, it the beginning it was dark brown but now it getting lighter it stopped for 2 days and came back but still light brown, what would the cause be?
Female | 23
Experiencing brown discharge after your period can often indicate old blood being expelled, which may be normal, especially if it's light and not accompanied by discomfort. Possible causes include hormonal fluctuations, changes in cervical mucus, or even the body clearing out remnants from your menstrual cycle. Since you've noticed changes and a previous itching sensation, it would be wise to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice. They can evaluate your situation more thoroughly and ensure there are no underlying issues.

I'm 17 years old female. I have a history of pcod, and my period cycle isn't regular. last month my periods got delayed for a week. This month I had sex on 14th which was unprotected. And my date for periods was 24. It's more than a week now, there isn't any sign of periods . However I am feeling no symptoms of pregnancy, no cramping, no nausea nothing. I haven't did a pregnancy test, but I just want to know can I confirm a pregnancy without having to test it. Also, what I can do to abort it?
Female | 17
Pregnancy symptoms can vary, absence of your period does not confirm pregnancy, especially with irregular cycles. A pregnancy test is the most reliable method to determine this. If you find yourself pregnant and wish to discuss options, including abortion, it’s vital to consult a gynecologist. They can provide safe and confidential support, ensuring you make informed decisions.

I am 23 yrs old and I have irregular periods I have sexual relation few days before and around 15day bleeding start on 1st day flow is heavy but now the flow is small have any problem
Female | 23
Irregular periods are not unusual in young women. Fifteen days after having sex bleeding could be caused by hormonal changes. Is the flow light now? This may be normal if it is. Keep track of your periods and see if they follow this same pattern. If you are worried, make a gynecologist's appointment so that you can talk it over with them in detail.

I am 22 years old, and had my last period on 22nd December, 2024 which lasted 4 days (the period before that also only lasted 4 days). I had protected sex (used condoms and withdrawal together) on 12th January. My next period was supposed to start on 22nd January 2025. However, it is now 5th February and I have not yet gotten my period. I took a pregnancy test on 2nd February 2025 (early morning), and the test results were negative. I used to have irregular periods 2-3 years ago, however, I had been managing my weight and they were pretty regular the last 2-3 years. This is the first time I've had such a long delay. What are the chances of the test results being false? Do I need to take another test?
Female | 22
Negative pregnancy tests are often accurate, especially if taken after a missed period, but if you still feel uncertain, retesting can provide reassurance. Irregular cycles can sometimes return due to stress, changes in weight, or hormonal fluctuations. If your period does not start soon or if you continue to feel uneasy, I recommend consulting with a gynecologist. They can offer personalized guidance and determine if further evaluation is needed.

Please give clarity and pull me out of this fear. I had intercouse on oct 24th which has anal penetration without vaginal penetration and ejaculation. Did urine pregnancy test on Dec 30 with evening urine and showed negative result. Later on Jan 28 which is 13 weeks after the event went to a clinic with a complaint of light period to get scan from doctor and did ultrasound scan showed no pregnancy and had measurements of 8cm in length . Had bleedings on Nov 8th dec 6th jan 3rd Feb 2nd and mar 5th. Is there any chance that pregnancy is possible and not identified in the scan at that time as I did not mentioned about intercourse.
Female | 20
It's understandable to feel anxious, but based on your negative urine test and ultrasound results, the chances of pregnancy are very low. The bleeding you've experienced can be due to various factors, including hormonal changes. The scan showing no pregnancy and measurements indicating a normal structure further supports this. However, if you still feel uncertain or experience any changes, it's best to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice. They can conduct further assessments and provide clarity.

Chemical pregnancies are one of the pregnancy types that are usually caused by poor hormonal balance in a woman's body. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, or PCOS, is a disorder of the female reproductive system that causes childbirth difficulties. The signs of the problem are widespread among patients in the form of irregular menses, weight gain, and action. PCOD must be treated by making life changes like a balanced diet and physical activities. Consult a gynecologist for professional and personalized advice.

Impression:1) Single intrauterine Small Gestational Sac of 5 weeks 1 day maturity without any obvious foetal pole inside at present. 2) Right ovarian simple cyst. What it means?
Female | 20
A 5-week and 1-day small intrauterine gestational sac with no fetal pole in it at present could reveal an early pregnancy that doesn’t proceed as normal, as well as a common potential miscarriage because of the right ovarian simple cystosarcoma. A visit to an OB-GYN is highly advisable for the evaluation and management of the problem at hand.
