What is best treatment for ACL disturb from shoulder sife
Male | 44
Your shoulder issue seems like a rotator cuff injury. Pain rises when you lift your arm or reach overhead. You feel weakness in the shoulder area too. It gets tough to move your arm in certain ways. Resting is key for healing. Physical therapy helps strengthen shoulder muscles. If the injury is bad, surgery may be required. Don't do things that make pain worse. Visit an orthopedist for full recovery.

Male | 21
You hit your hand and now there's a blueish-red spot. That's normal after being punched. The balm helped make it hurt less, which is good. It feeling sore when you touch it is normal too. But keep watching it. You can ice it briefly if needed. It'll get better soon.

i am 24 years and my bone mineral density score is -2 and vitamin d level is 14
Male | anvesh
It appears you've been diagnosed with low bone density and vitamin D deficiency, which can lead to bone pain, weak muscles, and fractures. A diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, including dairy products, leafy greens, and sunlight exposure, is crucial for bone health. Your doctor may recommend vitamin D supplements to improve your calcium levels. Additionally, maintaining a nutritious diet and engaging in exercises like running and strength training prescribed by your orthopedic doctor can help maintain bone strength and overall health.

For joint pain, especially with rheumatoid arthritis, it's important to consult a rheumatologist. Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen may help with the pain temporarily, but seeing an orthopedic specialist will give you the best treatment plan tailored to your needs.

I have left knee meniscus pain leftknee right side pain how to reduce pain walk na i have pain steps down na pain pls tell me sir how many days reduce pain
Female | 28
Pain on the outer side of your left knee could be due to a meniscus tear. The meniscus is a wedge of cartilage in your knee, and when it's torn, it can cause swelling. For pain relief, try to avoid activities that make it worse, like walking and climbing stairs. Resting your knee, applying ice, and taking over-the-counter pain medicines can help. However, if the pain continues for several days or worsens, visit an orthopedist.

I have history of injury 2 months back my mri report says I have partial ACL tear with PCL sprain. I have very instability does it require surgery
Female | 18
Your knee injury involves a partly torn ACL and strained PCL ligaments. These issues destabilize the knee joint. Symptoms include discomfort, swelling, and trouble walking. Surgery may sometimes repair ligaments, restoring stability. However, discuss treatment choices with an orthopedist knowledgeable about your specific case.

I am 23 year old female having quadricep tendinitis from 3 months in both legs now my pain is moving knee to thighs and having extreme pain
Female | 23
You might be having a rough time with your quadricep tendinitis. The symptoms you're going through, like pain moving from your knees to your thighs, can be a challenge. This kind of injury can be caused by overusing your legs or not warming up properly before exercise. To help with this, try doing some gentle stretches and avoiding activities that worsen the pain. As well, applying ice packs and elevating your legs can provide some relief.

Muscle knots due to stress all over back and neck. Very healthy but slightly high lymphocyte count but doctors say its fine. I am so freaked out
Female | 15
Muscle knots are usually caused by stress. Stress & tension later develops in the form of muscle tightness and discomfort called muscle spasms.
Regarding your slightly high lymphocyte count, if your doctors have reassured you that it is not a cause for concern, it's generally best to trust their expertise. Minor variations in blood cell counts can occur without indicating a serious health issue.

I am a 43 year old female, I have been experiencing chronic lower back pain for the last 8 months, the pain feels like it is nerves, I have trouble walking and can only walk around 20 metres. I take lyrica and palexia, they do not seem to be working. This is having a huge impact in my life
Female | 43
Chronic lower back pain can have various causes, such as spinal herniation, muscle strain, or spinal stenosis. If the pain feels nerve-related and affects your ability to walk, it could indicate nerve compression or damage. If medications like Lyrica and Palexia aren't effective, consider discussing other options with an orthopedist, such as physical therapy, injections, or surgery.

For over a year now I have had something that sicks out at the bottom of my ribcage on the left. It fells like the end of a rib sticking out and hurts when being pushed on. I did lose quite a lot of weight a year and a half ago and it's ever since then that I have noticed it. It is visibly sticking out when I am just standing normally.
Female | 20
You might have costochondritis. This is when the cartilage in your ribs gets inflamed, which usually causes pain and tenderness. It may be related to weight loss and sometimes comes on after an illness. To help relieve the pain, you can do some gentle stretching, use heat packs, or take over-the-counter painkillers such as ibuprofen.

Female | 29
The swelling and pain of the ankle and toes can be due to some joint-related or circulation-related problem. Irregular periods can be caused by imbalances of hormones. Severe hair fall can be caused by stress or lack of nutrition. Headaches and laziness could be signs of different types of problems. It's necessary to have an orthopedist make the right diagnosis and provide the correct treatment.

Hi Doctor! My mum's spine is fractured and L1 is degenerated, she has been advised to go for spinal surgery by one surgeon, another prescribes its not necessary yet. She also needs hip replacement surgery which according to surgeon is more urgent & should be done first. We are confused and need some expert help on this please. THANK YOU!
Female | 75
Fractures cause pain and limit movement, while spinal degeneration also leads to discomfort. Back pain and difficulty walking are common symptoms. However, hip replacement is a more urgent concern because it significantly impacts mobility. Addressing the hip first, as recommended by the surgeon, could improve the quality of life by alleviating discomfort and mobility issues.
