Why Do I Have Loose Motion?

Loose motion problem and accidety

Dr. Samrat Jankar

Surgical Gastroenterologist

Answered on 25th Sept '24

Loose motion (diarrhea) can be caused by virus infections, food poisoning, or bad hygiene. Symptoms consist of frequent and loose stools. Acidity occurs when the stomach's acid goes up the food pipe which brings along heartburn. To manage, drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration and eat rice, bananas, and toast, which are bland foods. Avoid spicy and oily foods that can trigger acidity before having a meal. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice from a gastroenterologist.

I'm going through the condition of food allergy and intolerance. Want to seek consultation for same. I've got the tests done ok n advice of my gastroenterologist. Now seeking advice from Immunologist/allergist. Plz let me know incase you can help me.

Female | 41

Sure! You might have food allergies or intolerances, which can make certain foods cause problems like stomach aches, rashes, or trouble breathing. These happen because your body mistakenly thinks some foods are harmful. The best thing to do is avoid these trigger foods. An allergist can help you find out which foods to avoid and how to manage your symptoms.

My ALT test result was 347iu but apart from feeling extremely tired, not being able to sleep and constipation. My doctor didn’t seem worried and says he’ll repeat test in a month.

Female | 64

An ALT test checks your liver's enzyme level. A reading of 347iu could mean liver troubles. Extreme fatigue, insomnia, and constipation might signal liver issues. Your doctor wants another test next month to see if levels change. Meanwhile, eat healthy foods, avoid alcohol, and rest well. Follow up with your doctor about your liver health status.

Namaste ma'am, my name is Umesh. Ma'am I have pain in my stomach and if I eat then immediately after that I get a rash in my stomach and then I start getting loose motions again and again and ma'am my weight also reduces a lot.

Male | 22

You may have a condition called food allergies. It is a case of the body reacting overly to some food items. Symptoms can be a painful stomach rash and a soft stool. Keeping a food diary is the best way to identify the specific food is causing the reaction. The food to be avoided is the one you already know as the trigger. The result of this is symptom disappearance and no more loss of mass.

I had an external hemorrhoid that caused an anal fissure and just wanted to know what I creams I could use to remove anal fissure scar?

Female | 24

As a medical expert, I would recommend you to make a gastroenterologist consult about your anal fissure scar issue. Over-the-counter creams may not work and could cause other problems. A gastroenterologist can prescribe appropriate treatment measures including topical medications or surgery if required.

Last 3 month have affected erosions fundus and body of stomach

Male | 30

Stomach erosions in the fundus and body of the stomach might be accompanied by symptoms such as stomach pain, bloating, and nausea. The reasons could be such things as excessive stomach acid, stress, or some medications. To help with this, try eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy foods, and reducing stress. Drinking plenty of water can also help. Remember, eating healthy and managing stress is key.

Stomach cancer operation successful but not be able to eat anything.

Male | 70

after A stomach cancer operation , it can be difficult to eat . This is because the stomach may need time to heal .. The patient may only be able to eat small amounts of food AT FIRST . It is Important to follow the doctor's advice on what to eat and how much. EATING FOODS high IN protein can help WITH healing ... The patient may need to eat more often but in smaller amounts. It is important to be patient and not rush the healing process.

I have been having discomfort in my right lower abdomen for 3 weeks. When it started, I woke up with abdominal pain and went to breakfast, but during it I could barely keep from throwing up. All that day I felt a little nauseous and my stomach hurt on sudden movements (also my stomach made noises). The next day the pain became more constant and intensified. I could not straighten up without pain in my lower abdomen. That day I went to the doctor with a suspicion of appendicitis. I was palpated, but was told that it was not clear exactly and told to come back the next day. The next day the pain was less, the doctor palpated me again and I had an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed that I had an enlarged kidney bowl and lymph nodes. I was admitted to the hospital but did not know which department (first they wanted to put me in urology but in the end they put me in the infectious diseases department for some reason). Also, the blood tests when I first came to the hospital had elevated white blood cells. I was discharged after 2 days and have been home for 3 weeks now (I have been on a diet and drinking 1.5 litres of water a day not counting tea) but the discomfort in my right lower abdomen sometimes returns
