Hello doctor my 9month old baby got fever. I gave him headbath after that he got fever why? No other symptoms. He is active normal

Answered on 24th June '24
Babies sometimes experience a mild temperature increase after a headbath. This is normal, caused by their body cooling down slightly. If your baby seems active and well otherwise, there's typically no cause for concern. However, ensure they drink enough fluids and dress them warmly. Consult a pediatrician if the fever continues or worsens.

Symptoms like limited movement, irritability, and feeding difficulties can stem from his condition. It's important to ensure he receives appropriate therapies, such as physical and occupational therapy, to support his development. Regular check-ups with a pediatrician will help monitor his progress. Creating a calm environment may improve his willingness to engage with activities. Please consult with a pediatrician who can provide guidance tailored to his needs.

Cp child treatment neck holding and seating
Male | 13 month
Babies can hold up their necks around two months old. By four months they do it better, no struggle. If the baby has trouble with neck muscles, it's a sign of weakness. Causes like not enough "tummy time" or late progress. Give baby more tummy time for a strong neck. Support the neck when carrying the baby always.

My son age is 8 but he is just 20 kg And also his nails always have white spots and the skin below the nails are always looks detached Is this deficiency of zinc Can you recommend any zinc syrup
Male | 8
The white spots on his nails and the skin under them looking detached could be signs of a zinc deficiency. These things can occur when our bodies don't get enough zinc. You can give him a syrup that contains zinc, but you must be cautious about the appropriate amount. Always stick to the recommended dose on the bottle. Eating foods like meat, nuts, and seeds will also further help his zinc levels. And it's always a good idea to check with a pediatrician if everything is fine.

My baby belly has bloated and it is hard from 5 days How long does it will be
Female | 1
The reason for this could be constipation, gas, or an infection. If the baby experiences other symptoms like being moody, not eating well, or being fussy more than usual, you should immediately visit a pediatrician. Additionally, light tummy massages and practicing a bicycle motion with the baby can work as an aid in relieving discomfort.

Constipation in my baby. He not passing motion daily what to do
Male | month
It’s common for infants to experience irregular bowel movements, which can be influenced by their diet or hydration levels. Symptoms might include discomfort, fussiness, or straining during attempts to pass stools. To help alleviate this, ensure your baby is drinking enough fluids, and consider introducing fiber-rich foods if they have started solids. Gentle tummy massage can also be soothing. However, if you notice prolonged discomfort, blood in the stools, or other concerning signs, I recommend consulting your pediatrician for tailored advice and reassurance. They can provide you with the guidance you need for your baby’s health and comfort.

My child vomited 3 times last night, today he refuses food, he is indisposed, he doesn't want anything
Male | 3
Your kid seems to be not epic at all. If a child throws up multiple times and then says he does not want to eat, it could be possible that his tummy is upset. This can be many things such as a tummy bug or food intolerance. The best thing you can do is keep him hydrated with small sips of water and let his tummy rest by avoiding food for a bit. You should take him to a pediatrician.

I understand your concern about your son's health. Since he has been suffering from typhoid fever for 15 days and is not improving despite medication, it's advisable to follow your doctor's advice for hospital admission. Hospitalization will ensure he receives proper monitoring, intravenous fluids, and medications to fight the infection effectively. Please continue to follow the guidance of the pediatrician or the specialist managing his case.

My 6 months baby is suffering from jaundice since 4 months and it's leads to liver failure. Can this problem solves.....??
పురుషుడు | 0
Jaundice in babies can occur when their liver is not working properly. This makes their skin and eyes turn yellow. Sometimes it may cause serious liver failure. You need to take your baby to a hepatologist for proper treatment. The physician may prescribe drugs, suggest changes in diet, or severe cases recommend liver transplantation. Ensure you adhere to what the doctor tells you to help your child feel better.

My 11 year old girl is getting cramps on her middle finger atlist three times in a month and i have notice all her fingers is turning dark in color
Female | 11
The middle finger cramps and the darkening of all fingers sound uncomfortable. The reason is there may not be enough blood flow in the fingers. One common cause is Raynaud's disease, which is a disorder that affects blood flow. If the issue gets worse, talk to an orthopedist.

Yesterday night a little rat bite me on my finger I am Seven months pregnant now what should do, it is harmful to my baby plz tell me
Female | 27
The bite of a rat may make you think your child is at risk simply because you are pregnant. Rats’ bites may sometimes cause infections that can pass onto the baby. If you observe any of the symptoms, such as redness, swelling, pain, or fever at the bite site, it is advisable to consult your healthcare provider.

Male | 4
Variations exist when kids develop speech skills. If speaking challenges arise with your son, potential reasons could be hearing issues, developmental delays, or simply taking more time. I suggest seeking a professional evaluation of his hearing and consulting a speech therapist. They'll provide insight into nurturing his speech progress.

My son is suffering from sever cold and cough unable to sleep at night
Male | 1
The fact that your child is unwell, makes your concerns the more reasonable. Symptoms like a runny nose, persistent cough, and difficulty resting can be signs of either a viral infection or allergies. To avoid discomfort, make him stay hydrated and test if the pediatrician's advice to use a humidifier in his room to relax his airways is the best one. A little elevation of his head could also be of some help. Warm fluids like soup or herbal tea are well-liked, mind you. If his condition doesn't improve after several days have passed or worsens, it's advisable to go to the pediatrician for a checkup so that the doctor can decide the best course of treatment and give appropriate advice.

Strange bruises show up on child's face out of the blue
Male | Musa
It's normal for kids to wake up with some facial bruises & not even remember how they got there. Most of the time it's because they bumped into something or got hurt while playing. But also, like, if your child is on certain meds or has certain health problems, bruises are more likely. If they don't go away or you get other signs of something weird going on in the child's body seek medical attention from a physician.

Hi. My son has dry cough. In morning I gave him dry syrup by mistake which was made 1 month ago. And its expiry date is 2024.is there any side effects of this?
Male | 6
If your child swallowed dry syrup prepared last month, yet unexpired, it's typically harmless. Expired medications might gradually diminish efficacy but rarely induce illness. Unless your son exhibits nausea, vomiting, rash, or other abnormal symptoms, he'll likely remain unaffected. Monitor him and consult a pediatrician promptly if any concerning signs arise.

6 month old baby having fever and loose stools from since yesterday evening.but she was acitive. Righ now her temperature was 101'F. I had paracetomol drops 150 mg. How many ml or drops i need give her? Her weight is not checking. Her loose stools are not too much.she taking her feeds is normal. Vaiding urine normal.
Female | 6 month
The fever of 101°F can be controlled with paracetamol drops. I guess your daughter is 6 months old. The doctor's manual indicates 10-15 mg per kg of her weight, but since she was not weighed, I am dispensing a general rule or you have to consult your pediatrician for specificity.
The soft bowel movements and fever could be caused by a slight viral infection. Make sure she remains hydrated and keeps up with her usual meals. If you still have symptoms, please visit the doctor.
