A missed period sometimes can be the first indication of pregnancy. Please do this by getting a home pregnancy test or by visiting the pharmacist for a test kit in order to check it out. If you are pregnant, it is essential to visit a gynecologist for proper care.

My marriage is on 24 dec but i didn't recieve my periods last 3 months. Is any problem to getting married
Female | 22
Women can miss their menstrual periods due to different factors such as stress, hormonal imbalances, or lifestyle changes. It's common for women to steer off to unsettled paths at a young age or before big events. Even though you may feel scared, don't skip your health as it is the most important thing you have. Your overall health mustn't be neglected. I suggest talking to a gynecologist to understand if there is a hidden issue to the problem and get guidance that is specific to you.

Pelvic floor dysfunction is serious issue for girls ?Does this mean I can't even have maeriage ??I do not feel any pain during urination nor do I face any difficulty in starting it. Only , after this the drops come, when I clean them with tissue, they don't come again. not every day but sometimes inside my hips pain And the vagina was from sometime outside .
Female | 23
Pelvic floor dysfunction is a common issue among women, affecting daily life, exercise, and intimate relationships. Symptoms include pelvic pain, a feeling of bulging or fullness, and difficulty controlling the bladder. Factors like childbirth, being overweight, or lack of exercise can contribute to this condition. However, pelvic floor dysfunction shouldn't be seen as a barrier to marriage. Treatments are available to alleviate symptoms and aid recovery. It's best to consult a gynecologist for a tailored treatment plan, which may include Kegel exercises, dietary changes, or physical therapy.

Hello. What can it be am having yellow urine, sometimes I feel very hot, nipples are also a little bit painful, and mild cramping sometimes
Female | 22
You might have a urinary tract infection. The yellow urine could be a sign that you're dehydrated or have an infection. If you're also feeling feverish, along with sore nipples and cramps, that's no fun. Try drinking more water—it might help. Plain yogurt could also be soothing for your stomach. But if things don't get better soon, see a gynecologist.

Hi I’m 22 years old and I’m concerned about my menstrual cycle it had come in 10 days before my last period and I’m really worried I have been stressed because of school and I couldn’t sleep anymore plus I’m taking spironolactone 100mg but I have been taking it for month now but no issues with it I recently started taking doxycycline but no issues with it btw it’s for my hormonal acne
Female | 22
High stress from school and lack of sleep can sometimes affect your cycle. Medications like spironolactone and doxycycline may also play a role. Irregular periods can happen for many reasons, so if you're concerned, it's best to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice.

Pls for four month I have not have my period. pls can you help me with some medication
Female | 36
You haven't menstruated in four months, which is amenorrhea. Stress, weight fluctuations, or hormonal issues may cause this. Eat nutritious foods, exercise regularly, and reduce stress to help regulate menstruation. Consult a gynecologist if amenorrhea persists to exclude underlying conditions.

I missed my periods this month
Female | 20
It is usually common. Stress affects your body. Weight changes and hormones cause issues, too. You may notice sore breasts, bloating, and moody feelings. Take care - eat the right foods, relax well, and get good rest. If still persists after efforts, see a gynecologist for further guidance.

My hymen is still not completely broken. Once I saw few drops of blood . But still the hymen is strong there. I had intercourse not a proper one and penis didn't enter into my vagina. But the sperms fell on my vagina and we still did 3 ,4 pushes. Will I be pregnant .
Female | 23
Even if complete insertion didn't occur, pregnancy remains a possibility since sperm can still reach the egg. Immediate symptoms might not manifest, but missed periods or breast tenderness could be early indicators. Taking a pregnancy test provides confirmation. It's important to understand that an intact hymen doesn't preclude pregnancy.

Dry vagina. 23 years. On and off on contraceptive. Had regular but now irregular periods. Burning vagina after sex. Married
Female | 23
You might deal with vaginal dryness: an issue where the vagina lacks moisture. This condition may cause pain, burning, and discomfort during intercourse. Potential reasons are hormone changes from birth control pills or irregular menstrual cycles. Using a water-based lubricant during sex could ease the irritation. Drinking plenty of fluids and consulting a gynecologist for advice are recommended steps.

I have recurrent miscarriages last year within 6 months. Reason of these was same no heart beat in baby and growth is not as per time. I have bleeding after 1.5 to 2 months after my pregnancy. Before 8 months I am treated by Ayurvedic Dr. but result is unsatisfied. She give me torchnil tablets for 3 months. But right now I am trying for pregnancy from 5 months but unable to get pregnant. So, what to do?
Female | 24
The lack of a fetus's heartbeat and insufficient growth can be problematic. Bleeding after 1.5 to 2 months might cause a problem. There is a likelihood that you are frustrated when you cannot conceive after five months of trying. It's crucial to be transparent with a gynecologist about your personal medical history and your doubts. They will be able to offer you highly personalized advice on your specific situation.

Mam first day of periods less bleeding just one or two strains or colour of blood is brown and have clots also the next blood is coming more
Female | 21
When the first day of your period is light with minimal bleeding, everything is likely fine. If the blood is brownish and contains some clots, don't worry; this can happen. On the following day, a heavier flow is normal as your body is adjusting. Brownish blood simply means the blood is older. However, if you feel nervous or experience pain, it would be wise to consult a gynecologist.

I am on the pill (Yasmin) as I used get really heavy periods, cramps and a nerve pain in my right ovaries near my hip that would also travel down my leg. When I take my four day break from the pill I experience really heavy bleeding with clots and really sore cramps. The pill has not changed anything to do with the nerve pain by my ovaries. It still is the same. I’ve been to loads of doctors and they all say it’s just my period, or its normal but I feel it really isn’t. None of my friends go through pain like this ever. The cramps are worse when I am active, it’s as if its a flare up of something and activity triggers it. They get so bad I can’t walk and have to just crouch down til they go away. This cannot be normal, can it?
Female | 18
Severe pain that interferes with daily activities and is not relieved by medication or hormonal contraception.. requires further evaluation. Seek a second opinion if your think your current medication is not working for you.

sex during ovulation might result in a pregnancy. From your explanation, I can speculate a possibility that you are pregnant. I would like to propose that you make an appointment with a gynecologist and have further tests done for you to confirm.

I am 35 Yr old female. Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for sometime. This time, I was 5 days late for my period and I thought I was preg. But 6th day I got blood when I wiped with tissue. But urine there was no blood. 2 full days have been over. My total blood flow has been 1 pad full only. This is different from my usual periods. I don't have major cramps like how I used to have during menses. My cramps are very mild. What should I do?
Female | 35
You are experiencing some changes in your menstrual cycle. It is commonplace to have spotting and minor cramps during the first few weeks of pregnancy. If your menstruation is starting, it might be a little different. Stress, hormonal changes, or even lifestyle factors could be some of the reasons for this. If the symptoms continue or worsen, you should talk to a gynecologist to get personalized advice.

I had protected sex on February 8 and I took the i-pill. I got withdrawal bleeding after 5 days. Then I had protected sex on Feb 25 and also took the i-pill. But didn't get withdrawal bleeding till now.. Is it because I get pregnant?
Female | 22
The emergency contraceptive pill can disrupt menstrual cycles, resulting in delayed or missed periods. However, this does not definitively indicate pregnancy. Stress and hormonal fluctuations can also contribute to such irregularities. If concerns persist, considering a pregnancy test may provide reassurance. It's important to note that these pills serve as emergency measures and should not be relied upon excessively.

I developed severe palpitations and breathlessness of unknown cause since all tests are normal after 3 years of taking birth control pills to regulate periods. I am considering stopping them as the doctor told me. What are expected side effects that would happen from stopping them?
Female | 32
Birth control pills are beneficial, but side effects can arise. If experiencing issues, stopping them seems wise. Your menstrual cycle might undergo adjustments - irregular bleeding or heavier flows could occur. This transition phase necessitates patience from your body. Should symptoms persist or worsen after discontinuation, consulting a gynecologist becomes crucial.

35 Female with lower abdominal pains below the belly button, bilateral(on both the left and right sides) unilateral in nature(where one sided pain occurs). Sharp and pinpoint to same location for both left and right sides, directly across from each other. happening since October 2021, coincided with period first occurrence on right side 2021 thought it was a cyst at first. Went away until the second occurrence on June 19th, 2022(period cycle then was June 8th - 16th), right side. Went away and returned September 25th, 2022 on left side this time(period cycle for September 2022 was the 3rd through 11th), it occurred again in January 7th 2023 on the right side(period cycle for January 2023 a skipped period) at this point I still thought it was was cyst like pain or even ovulation pain bothering me,so I went to gynecologist, they thought it could be large intestine related due to the location of the pains. I got an ultrasound that came back normal in February of 2023. The same day i had the ultrasound, I went to medexpress to get my physical for my driver's permit, and they suggested asking my previous pcp for a ct scan, to check my appendix. It was hard to get into my previous pcp as I didn't see them in 3 years so I wasn't established. I reached out to the gynecologist I saw in january of 2023, in June 2023 when I had another occurrence of the pain, to see about getting a ct scan. It was approved by insurance, but ultimately denied under physician review( by the supervising gynecologist, and my previous pcp, because my ultrasound was normal). I then established care in December of 2023, with a new pcpx who is suspicious that my pains are coming from ibs mixed with spasms. I am taking dicyclomine 10 mg 4 times a day as needed, but it's not really doing anything when the pains occur. My pcp also changed my dicyclomine to a 45 day supply as I asked in a different question. I also met with a surgeon in March of 2024 due to a large gallstone, as my pcp said they were common in people my age. The surgeon gave a complete different answer than what I have been given before, and he thought my pains could be coming from endometriosis. The surgeon performed my cholecystectomy, on May 29th, and did a general exploration during it, but found no endometriosis. My pcp still suggested getting an evaluation for endometriosis just to know we didn't miss anything, as well as getting evaluated by a gastroenterologist. As my pains have still been continuing. What could these pains be coming from? I feel like I will be tossed back and forth between gynecology and gastroenterology, and I don't want that at all. Some helpful info: My new pcp also diagnosed me with pcos as I fit the criteria for it with my irregular period cycles, despite my bloodwork and ultrasound coming back normal. I also had the cbc; comprehensive metabolic panel; celiac; thyroid; A1C; ESR; and C-Reactive protein all tested in December of 2023 when I met with my new pcp. The only two that came back as abnormal were my ESR at 34 and C-Reactive protein at 29.7
Female | 35
You have been through a lot with your abdominal pains. Therefore, considering the normal ultrasound results and the new suspicion of endometriosis from the surgeon, your pain may be due to endometriosis, the condition wherein tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus that can result in cyclical sharp pelvic pain. It's okay to talk to a gynecologist about more tests and treatments. Besides, you might want to see a gastroenterologist, too, so as to eliminate the probability of any intestinal problems causing the symptoms you are having.

Female | 28
Having a period every 2 to 3 months is not normal. It can be a sign of hormonal imbalances in your body. Among the common ones are irregular periods and infertility. You may suffer from diseases such as polycystic ovary syndrome or thyroid issues. To help, consult a gynecologist for tests and the right diagnosis. Treatment may involve medications to help regularize your menstrual cycle.

Periods over bleeding.marriage is only 15; days'
Female | 25
Long periods more than 15 days long may be a sign of a health issue like fibroids, endometrial hyperplasia, or adenomyosis. Therefore, a visit to a gynecologist is necessary in order to get an exact diagnosis and the appropriate treatment. Going to a specialist for medical interventions will enable the disease to be managed successfully.
