Babies' legs getting stiff is normal. It could be from limited movement, brain/spine problems, or premature birth. Physical therapy exercises help relax the muscles. However, doctors should assess your baby's condition first. Then you'll know the ideal steps to support their development.

My daughter is 9 months old and she fell face first from a child’s lap onto the grass. I am wondering if I should be concerned
Female | 9 month
When a baby falls from so low a point, they may only get a bump or a little bruise. Observe your daughter for one or two days if she behaves strangely or shows signs of being in pain. If she looks all right and acts normal then she is probably fine. However, in case you notice any worrying things like vomiting a lot, sleeping too much, or becoming very irritable please take the child to a pediatrician for a check-up as soon as possible

A speech delay in autism means a child may have problems talking or expressing their thoughts. This can be a source of frustration for them. Continue with speech therapy as it can develop communication skills. On the other hand, visual aids and repeating routines can help her become clear about him.

Diarrhea can lead to dehydration, especially in children, so providing fluids is necessary. You can give your child water but it's essential to do it in small, frequent sips rather than large amounts at once. You can also give ORS to help prevent dehydration.

It remains for 5 days first 2 days comes in every 4-5 hours then next 2 days comes in every 13-14 hours and last 5th day it comes only once in 24 hours and then it goes.along with fever she get sore thorat as well every time. Is it just a viral or periodic fever syndrome because every time pattern and time is same
Female | 2
Based on your description, your daughter may have recurrent fever syndrome. This condition involves frequent episodes of high body temperature occurring in a regular pattern. It can result from various causes, such as infections, inflammation, or genetic factors. Since she also has a sore throat, a viral infection is likely the cause. Ensure she gets plenty of rest, drinks a lot of water, and takes fever-reducing medication if she has a fever. Make an appointment with a pediatrician as soon as possible and get her checked regularly.

Female | 7
Your daughter might have a cold or the flu. Viruses cause these illnesses. They spread easily. She may cough, throw up, have a fever, and feel nauseous. Help her by letting her rest. Give her lots of fluids. Over-the-counter meds like acetaminophen can help with fever and nausea. Doing these things will aid her body in fighting the virus.

A three-year-old friend of yours happens to sport an open part in her skull and sticks out a bit in front. The open space is known as the anterior fontanelle and should have closed by now. A pigeon chest could cause difficulties in breathing. These problems may be because of muscle weakness or bone problems. It is important to seek medical advice for proper assessment and advice on the most effective treatment plan.

My Daughter is 2 years 47 days old, she has been struggling with stool passing from last one year. At time she can pass it without any struggle but at times she could not. We have consulted multiple doctors but couldn't get a permanent solution. Everytime we visit a new doctor she starts passing her stool easily for next one or two weeks, but after two weeks the prescribed medications from the doctor stops working and we had to go for another doctor or we have to use Suppositories. We have been struggling with this issue from almost a year and have been using Suppositories or visiting different doctor. Please suggest how this could be fixed, also let us know if this is a serious issue. Will this get fixed with passage of time as my daughter reaches the age of 4 or 5 years. Thank you
Female | 2 years 47 days
Your daughter seems to be going through a challenging phase where she sometimes struggles with passing stool. There could have been various reasons for this like diet, less water intake, or maybe some muscle problems. It is a good thing that you have been taking doctors' advice; however, it is essential to detect the root cause of the problem. You can try giving her fiber-rich foods, like fruits, and veggies, to her and ensure she drinks enough water. Keep in touch with your pediatrician to find the best way to take care of your daughter's discomfort.

6 year old boy, have PFAPA, had his latest periodic fever at 25th december 2023, got glutation to be better and did not have any bad reaction to it. At 3 januari 2024 he got vitamin d, omega3, turmeric and resveratrol, and got an allergic reaction one day later and got antihistamin medicin. Five days after that he got fever, but very low, in normally his temperature is at 37 celcius but now between 37.6-37.9. The fever appears only at afternoon in about 30 minutes and then disappears. It has been going on like this for a week now. Otherwise he is fine and this is not the typical fever he gets at PFAPA. I am wondering if this sounds like something dangerous or if its still a reaction to the supplement he got only once, or if it sounds like an infection? Maybe corona?
Male | 6
It sounds like your 6-year-old son's current symptoms may be a reaction to the supplements or a mild infection. Given his history of PFAPA and the recent allergic reaction, it's important to consult with a pediatrician to determine the exact cause.

Rashes on an infant's body may result from various factors - allergies, infections, or skin irritants. The itching and crying could indicate discomfort. To provide relief, use gentle products without fragrances, keeping the skin clean and dry. However, if these measures prove ineffective, it's advisable to seek medical advice for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Hello doctor my 9month old baby got fever. I gave him headbath after that he got fever why? No other symptoms. He is active normal
Male | 0
Babies sometimes experience a mild temperature increase after a headbath. This is normal, caused by their body cooling down slightly. If your baby seems active and well otherwise, there's typically no cause for concern. However, ensure they drink enough fluids and dress them warmly. Consult a pediatrician if the fever continues or worsens.

3yrs baby not speak but he knows every things and try to speak but not sucess
Male | 3
Kids often struggle to speak at 3 years old. But, if your child tries and doesn't improve, you should act. This may mean a speech delay. Causes could be hearing issues or development problems. I'd suggest an expert checks your child, like a speech therapist or pediatrician. They'll figure out the best way to boost speech skills.

My baby 2.10 Years old, but he did not talk. He is a pre-mature baby. He is very phone addicted. He is hearing any sound, any time he suffering cold, cough and fever.
Male | 2.10
Premature babies tend to have some delay in growth and development but will catch up later . Child needs detailed development assessment . There are specific parent questionnaire on development which parent can observe and answer . Child also needs formal hearing and speech assessment.
Extended or long screen times like cell phones / TV are best avoided .. as they have an impact on child s development.
