You may likely catch the stomach virus if you are in close contact with your father and brother who had gastroenteritis. Better to be on the safer side to ensure that activities like hand washing, drying utensils, and disinfecting common surfaces are done. When you suffer from symptoms such as diarrhea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, see a gastroenterologist.

I'm 26 years, an exchange student in Spain. Sunday 10.11 I went to the hospital because I had severe belly ache but they said it's only gas trapped in the belly. Ever since I had discomfort in my belly and only the medicine Buscapina helped me. yesterday for the first time I had pain in my chest, but it dissapeared after 20 minutes.
Female | 26
The chest pain that you had might have been because of the gas. The gas in your stomach might be exerting your chest. Try to eat fewer meals, stay away from gassy foods, and keep your body well-hydrated if you can. If the pain comes back or worsens, consult a gastroenterologist.

When saftypin stay in my stomch since 2 years what's happened
Male | 22
Carrying a safety pin in your stomach for 2 long years can result in dangerous situations. You may get a tummy ache, feel like you are going to throw up, or actually, throw up. The pin can cause a tear in the lining of your stomach and be the reason for the infection. It is important to have it done through surgery. If the pin stays there it can cause other problems. A doctor must be seen immediately to get help.

When ever my mother come back from washroom she is having seviour throat pain
Female | 64 years
Your mother appears to be in great distress after the passage of the toilet, which can happen due to the lack of humidity in the air, allergies, or even muscle strain. Make sure she is well-hydrated and the use of a humidifier is the best way to reduce the discomfort in her throat. Some warmth like teas and lozenges can ease pain by calming the throat. Nevertheless, the control of her condition is of prime importance. In the case of the problem's further occurrence, it would be rational to seek help from a gastroenterologist who will carry out a complete examination and give you the necessary guidance on treatment.

Good morning sir पेट में बहुत ज्यादा गैस बन रहा है तो तत्काल उपचार क्या करे ,और पेट में दर्द भी है
Male | 22
A lot of gas in the belly can make you feel bad. Gas can cause pain, bloating, and burping. Eating too fast, chewing gum, or fizzy drinks can lead to gas. Try eating slowly, no fizzy drinks, and walk after meals to ease gas. If the pain does not stop, it is best to ask a gastroenterologist.

I have had dizziness for a year now. It only seems to be at night when I am laying down and when I can't get all of my poo out. I get a bit constipated every period and this effects my head every month.
Female | 20
You might have vasovagal syncope. This occurs when there is a rapid drop in blood pressure and heart rate, which causes fainting. Additionally, being constipated can aggravate this condition as it compresses your nerves. To alleviate it, make sure to drink more water, eat foods rich in fiber and consult with a gastroenterologist for further assessment and treatment options.

Hi, on a ferry, constantly vomiting. There is a small pharmacy here but not sure what i should buy? Cant soeak the local language.
Male | 30
Vomiting on a ferry is often caused by motion sickness, which many people experience. A simple solution is to find anti-nausea medication, such as meclizine or dimenhydrinate, commonly available at pharmacies. Ginger candies or drinks can also help soothe your stomach. Try to stay hydrated with small sips of water or clear fluids. If symptoms persist or worsen, please consider seeking medical assistance, as a gastroenterologist can provide further support.

Low grade Appendiceal reuinous neoplasm
Female | 50
The term low-grade appendiceal neoplasm refers to abnormal tissue in the appendix. If you have one, it will be stealthy at times, although you may feel pain in the lower right side of your tummy, nausea, or changes in your stool. However, the underlying cause is not always clear. It entails surgery to evacuate the appendix if the infected part is operable. The follow-up examinations are quite significant and must be done to supervise the condition.

Hello my name is Mohammad my mom died from colon cancer and my aunt father side died from lung cancer and recently I am having black ( I mean like really black) poop I haven’t had any iron supplements and I’m not having abdominal pain but I lost a lot of weight in 2-3 months I hardly ever go to ???? and when I go I have very stiff black poop I don’t have eagerness for food and I was very very harmed mentally for my moms lost that I almost had days taking 1.5 kg of ambient (15*10tablets*10gr) I am also studying dentistry so if you speak in medical terms I would probably understand.
Male | 23
Do not underestimate how black stool points to possible internal bleeding of your digestive system, nor your symptoms of losing weight and having no appetite. This points to the start of a severe health issue that would be more likely benign than malignant. Besides, it's best to go through the colon and intestine diagnostics first as well as some other medical tests.

Hi Two months back i had laser surgery for 3rd degree hemorrhoid and chronic anal fissure and the progress was good with minimum pain or bleeding . But since one week I noticed that i have increased mild to moderate sharp pain with every bowel movement but the pain is less worse compared to before surgery , no bleeding. No constipation issue .Do I have to worry?
Female | 42
It's understandable to feel concerned about new discomfort following your surgery. Mild to moderate pain during bowel movements can occur as healing progresses, possibly due to increased sensitivity or tissue changes. Since you’re experiencing no bleeding and constipation isn't an issue, it's a positive sign. Focus on maintaining a high-fiber diet, adequate hydration, and gentle physical activity to support healing. However, it's essential to share these symptoms with your gastroenterologist for personalized advice and to rule out any other concerns. Regular follow-ups ensure optimal recovery.

Muja peshabh bahut atti hai or muja jaundice hai 1.5 years sa jaundice 2.5 hai or muja mildly fatty liver or kabhi kabhi fasting diabetes bhi 125 ya 120 ya kabhi normal bhi hojati hai kabhi kabhi 125 rehti hai toh muja kya is wajah sa peshabh Jada arahe hai
Male | 18
Your urinary problems and jaundice can be related to your lifestyle, such as a little fatty liver and sometimes glucose levels fluctuations. All these can affect the body metabolism and digestion. You can keep yourself well-hydrated, take a healthy diet, and engage in regular physical activity. These are the things that can bring the betterment of the symptoms. However, the most important thing is that you should get a holistic checkup from a gastroenterologist regarding your non-alcoholic jaundice, liver health, and blood sugar levels.

Bloated stomach, but not crying and urine and motion goes normally
Female | 0
It's common for babies to have a bloated stomach without crying, and normal urine and bowel movements. However, if you notice persistent bloating or changes in feeding patterns, it's advisable to consult a pediatrician. They can rule out any underlying issues and ensure your baby's health.

My mother is experiencing stomach ache in the lower abdominal portion . The pain is neither to fast nor to slow, but it happens continuously. Whenever the medicines given the pain goes away. Otherwise no symptoms were notified. What should I do now?
Female | 58
This type of pain may occur due to many reasons like gas or a digestive problem. The fact that it disappears after taking the medicine means that it is related to the stomach. To help her heal have easy digestion foods, and drink enough water. If the pain does not stop or becomes unbearable, it is important to visit a gastroenterologist to find out the specific issue.

I am 34 years old male, I am not happy with my bowel movement lately. It can go for 2-3 days or just a small poop comes out. I took laxatives last night (7hrs ago) and still nothing. What could be the problem?
Male | 34
The absence of stool for several days or the production of only a little stool can be a sign of constipation. Constipation has many reasons like not eating enough fiber, not drinking enough water, and not exercising. Laxatives may work for you, but if your problem continues, try drinking more water, eating fiber-rich foods like fruits and vegetables, and exercising more. If the problem persists, it's better to consult a gastroenterologist for more help.

I am 19 years old … I see blood in my stool … started 2020 I took enterogermina 2020,then December 2021 took tinizol and doxycycline 2021 and I was given Clarthrime and Bonso pile tablet January 2024 but a doctor changed it and told me to take ciprotab instead but today I happened to see blood again I am constipated , I take milk a lot , and I always have bad cramps so I take ibuprofen every month but not more than 2 a month
Female | 19
I recommend seeking medical attention from a gastroenterologist to properly evaluate the cause of the bleeding and develop a treatment plan. Not recommended to self-treat without consulting a doctor, as this can lead to antibiotic resistance and may not address the issue. Additionally taking ibuprofen frequently for menstrual cramps can also lead to gastrointestinal problems.

Stomach discomfort can arise from various factors, such as indigestion, infections, or dietary choices. Common symptoms include nausea, bloating, and cramps. Staying hydrated and consuming bland foods like rice or bananas may help ease your condition. Over-the-counter remedies can also provide relief. However, if symptoms persist or worsen, consult a gastroenterologist for appropriate evaluation and treatment.

Respectful Sir, When I eat spicy food a little, tongue gradually starts burning, and then runny nose and watery eyes occur.please advice me how to prevent it,Sir.
Male | 30
When you consume spicy foods, your tongue may feel like it's burning and inflamed as a result. Besides the tongue the nose gets along with tears releasing at the eyes. It is because spicy food provokes your whole body to make more mucus in your nose and eyes if you eat it. However, don't worry; you may be relieved this way by eating fewer hot foods or by mixing chilled milk or yogurt with spicy food to decrease hotness.

Can I eat onions and black pepper in h pylori
Male | 38
If you possess the H. pylori infection, some signs can be stomach aches, bloating, nausea etc. These symptoms are likely to get worse if you take onions or black pepper since they may irritate the lining of your stomach. It would therefore be advisable for one to temporarily keep off such foods until they undergo treatment for this condition. In order to reduce distress while being treated for H. pylori, it is recommended that you take a mild diet comprising foods that do not cause any harm to your stomach.
