A lot of gas in the belly can make you feel bad. Gas can cause pain, bloating, and burping. Eating too fast, chewing gum, or fizzy drinks can lead to gas. Try eating slowly, no fizzy drinks, and walk after meals to ease gas. If the pain does not stop, it is best to ask a gastroenterologist.

I am 18 year old male and i have stomach ache from 2 days and i have taken no medications the pain is more in lower right side of abdomen and my abdomen hurts when breathing and walking basically when moving
Male | 18
The location of the pain in the lower right of your stomach, especially when walking, may be a sign of appendicitis. The swelling of the appendix is called appendicitis. The primary clues may also be loss of appetite, nausea, and fever. A doctor must be sought immediately for a full checkup and proper therapy as appendicitis might be dangerous and can involve surgery as a remedy.

Gestroic and acidity can couse of high blood pressure ??
Male | 39
You won't find high blood pressure caused by stomach and acidity disorders. However, if you're often in a state of worry because of such a situation, it may have a slight impact on your blood pressure. Experiencing symptoms such as stomach ache, puffy belly, and heartburn can make you feel uncomfortable. You should eat less, avoid spicy foods, and learn to relax through techniques such as deep breathing or yoga, which will help you manage stress.

Why I have weightloss and irregular digestion?
Male | 25
You may have a viral fever accompanied by a skin rash, commonly known as viral exanthem. The leg pain, swelling, and difficulty walking could indicate inflammation in your joints, a condition called viral arthritis. These symptoms are often seen in viral infections like dengue or chikungunya. I recommend getting plenty of rest, staying hydrated, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve over time, it's important to contact a gastroenterologist.

Can i take probiotics capsules with liver syrup?
Male | 27
You can usually take probiotic capsules along with liver syrup. Probiotics add beneficial bacteria for gut health, while liver syrup supports liver function. Taking both may help maintain a well-balanced gut, but it's best to take them at different times of the day to ensure they work effectively. Always follow the directions on the labels for the best results.

I am 17 year old boy from three days I see blood in my stool and a little pain. This happens before but after one or two days it gets okay .
Male | 17
Someone may see blood in their stool sometimes. Hemorrhoids and a small tear in the anus can cause this. It may be constipation or inflammation that's causing your pain. To help with this, try drinking more water, eating foods rich in fiber and not pushing too hard when you go to the bathroom. If these measures don’t yield any results within a few days consult a gastroenterologist who will give you appropriate advice tailored for you.

I was wondering what to do about my medical situation: I’ve been experiencing few weeks: -Anal discomfort from constipation -bowel leakage - anal itchiness for a due to Background: I had a loop colostomy put in the descending colon but what it seems To me is that some stool bypassed the colostomy and got to the area in the rectum that is damaged, and so its just staying inside the rectum, I can’t seem to have a bowel movement because of the damage in that area and I can’t seem to get it out. because of having the colostomy, I know there isn’t a serious problem like a blockage. but I’m feeling really uncomfortable due to the the leakages and itchiness at the anal area. From past experience Enemas and laxatives and suppositories haven’t been helpful with my constipation. What can I do?
Female | 27
It seems that you have encountered some abnormal complications related to your colostomy or you are constipated. Your anal discomfort and the smell and itchiness are occurring due to the feces that have collected in the damaged area in your rectum. That can occur when the stool makes an unplanned detour. In view of the fact that classical treatments such as enemas and laxatives are of no help; it is time to speak to your care provider for other possible options, like diet modification, stool softeners, or special procedures.

Female | 23
You might be suffering from acid reflux. It occurs in a situation where the acid from the stomach moves to the esophagus thus giving a burning sensation. Lying down after eating may worsen it. Eat small meals to avoid discomfort. Stay upright after meals.
If the pain continues you should consult a gastroenterologist.

While doing poo in the morning i can feel very little pain while straining on stomach. I have done blood test, stool test, urine test and every tests are normal except bilirubin is 35 umol/L and urea is 2.7 L and little deficiency of vitamin B12.
Male | 20
Your digestive issues might be due to problems with food absorption or digestion. Symptoms like gas, stomach pain, and changes in stool could indicate issues with how you process food. Undigested food in your stool and watery bowel movements might suggest digestive problems. Even though your blood, stool, and urine tests were normal, elevated bilirubin levels, low urea, and vitamin B12 deficiency may point to underlying conditions that need attention. Eating a balanced fiber-rich diet and staying hydrated could help with your symptoms. Probiotics or digestive enzymes might also support gut health. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to consult a gastroenterologist to explore the best treatment options.

Is it normal to have pale coloured poo after diareha and sickness

This could happen because of the reduction in bile production or the failure of bile to enter the digestive system. If you are experiencing this problem, you might need to visit a gastroenterologist to help determine and treat the cause of your symptoms.

Hi Sir, kindly help me out to get out confusion and frustration. This is my Clinical summary -Rohan, a 29-year-old male, presented with chief complaints of reflux symptoms and severe abdominal pain persisting for the past 3 months.Sometimes diarrhea.Upon examination, his vital signs were stable. Diagnostic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, were performed, leading to the diagnosis of a duodenal ulcer, pan gastritis and pathological findings of lymphocytic colitis. The treatment approach involved the administration of medications, as mentioned in the prescription, to manage the condition. Regular follow-up visits were recommended to monitor the progress and adjust the treatment regimen accordingly. After two and a half months of treatment, significant improvement was noted, with no abdominal pain reported, and the patient's overall well-being has improved. Consequently, the dosage of medications has been reduced. Continued monitoring and adherence to the prescribed treatment plan are necessary to ensure complete resolution of symptoms and prevent recurrence. This was my condition eight months ago. Right now I am very frustrated because of gut problem. It's paining even after following treatment and strict diet for eight months. I almost lost 8 kg. I went for second opinion My doctor told me that your ulcers are healed completely. And lymphocytic colitis was misdiagnosed. Now It's a IBS that causing the pain and not colitis. He prescribed me Librax(Clinidium+chlorobenzodioxide) along with Amixide h(chlorodizapoxide +amitryptiline) . Whenever my gut starts paining I took it and pain fade away.I am very confused about this.Stomach pain goes away and comes back. About year ago this problem has started. And just take those above medicines to cope up with pain One more thing to add here is that I was diagnosed with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) few years back. I was taking escitalopram( Lexapro 10 mg)on and off prescribed by psychiatrist. But My Gastroenterologist told me to stop using lexapro as it can cause ulcer. Can you guys help me to correctly understand the disease and ways to overcome it.
Male | 29
It seems that this disease has reached you without any diagnostic problem, and it turns out to be IBS.
The doctor associated with the management of your symptoms and provision of relief is putting you on medication which includes Librax (Clinidiumchlorobenzodioxide) and Amixide H (chlorobenzodioxide amitriptyline). This particular type of drug worked effectively in relieving you from the pain just like it had no existence at all.
It is necessary to emphasize that IBS can be long-term and would probably demand long-term therapy. You are advised by your doctor to follow the instructions as they have been given and take all the medications that have been prescribed to you as directed. Close visits with the gastroenterologist are vital to achieving progress and controlling the treatment by your doctor.
If you had GAD in your earlier years, you need to make some lifestyle modifications since it can affect your gut health. On the one hand, Lexapro withdrawal caused intestinal ulcers because your gastroenterologist instructed me to stop using it, but on the other hand, it was necessary to prevent ulcers.

Hello I am Seemab Hussain Male 38 I am Suffering from acidity from last 10 Year I used PPI every day to reduce the acid i am also having the issue of bloating and acid reflux.
Male | 38
Stomach acidity is the main cause of these symptoms: heartburn, and bloating. Everyday acid-inhibiting drugs, which are used as a PPI pill, reduce the secretion of acid. In addition to medication, lifestyle modifications such as avoiding spicy foods, eating smaller meals more frequently, and exercising regularly can help control these symptoms. Also, drink plenty of water and do not lie down too soon after eating. If your symptoms persist, discuss other treatment options with a gastroenterologist.

What could be causing my abdominal pain and burning sensation, with a mild enlargement in size of my liver and spleen? I'm concerned about the possibility of a serious condition like colon cancer. Can you provide any guidance or information?
Male | 19
Mild enlargement of the liver and spleen, without any focal lesions, can have various causes and may not necessarily indicate a serious disease like colon cancer. Conditions like fatty liver disease, viral infections, inflammation, etc. can be associated with the swelling of these organs.
A proper diagnosis can only be made by a healthcare professional like a gastroenterologist after considering your complete medical history.
