We would like to know your brother’s problem a little more in detail.
We will need details like Age, history of the disease, other medical diseases, and level of activity.
Physical examination at the clinic will help us understand the problem in detail.
We might ask for some radio diagnostic tests like x rays or MRI scans to confirm the diagnosis
Once the diagnosis is established a proper treatment protocol will be formulated.

Acute knee pain - first we need to arrive at the diagnosis. A thorough clinical examination followed by Radilogical investigations like X-ray and MRI might be needed.
59 years is still young (<65 years dont come under elderly category). So we need to make sure she is out of bed.
Current bed sore needs to treated soon

i am 25 year old female and have backache for last 2 months. I have used pain relief ointment cream for couple of days but haven't got any relief. What should i do now?
Female | 24
I would advise you to see an orthopedist for your backache. It is also possible that relief cream will not be effective in the future if the root cause of the pain is not treated. Orthopedic specialist will be capable of identifying the cause of your backache and offer suitable treatment options.

Hi good evening my name is techekia I am 34 years old I've been unable to walk it's been 4 years now after I give birth to my daughter I can't raise is my hand I do anything for myself I have done many tests since still can't get any answer trying to seek medical attention everywhere but I'm not getting any and it's affecting me badly and getting worst I wish if I could get some help
Female | 34
The symptoms you have explained, such as the inability to walk and numbness of the hand following delivery, are indicative of obstetric brachial plexopathy. This is a condition that occurs when the nerves around your shoulder are injured during the birthing process. Physical therapy can enhance your muscle power and flexibility. Physical therapists can give the right evaluation and the measures that work for them. I recommend consulting a physical therapist for further advice.

You need thorough clinical examination with a multidisciplinary team of Orthopedic Surgeon/Neurologists. We need to find out at which neural level is the existing problem Eg. Spinal cord, Peripheral nerve. This should be done ASAP which would improve the chances of recovery.

i can't move my wrist and arm i think its broken
Female | 15
Falling can cause your arm to break. Bones may crack from an impact, accident, or heavy blow, leading to pain and swelling. Moving the arm becomes challenging. At the hospital, doctors will examine X-rays to identify the fracture. Treatment varies: some breaks can be stabilized with a cast, while more severe breaks may require surgery. Seeking medical care from an orthopedist is crucial to ensure the bone heals properly.

She fell off on her wrist which causes fracture
Female | 54
If you fall and break your wrist, you may end up with a fracture. In addition to hurting, the occurrence of welling can be felt. It may be difficult to move your wrist as well. The reason for this is that the bone was forced to bear so much weight that the bone practically shattered. The first step to get it to heal is to put it in a cast or a splint so the bone can repair itself gradually. It's important to keep your wrist relatively immobile until it gets well.

I’m 29 years old and I have my right arm started off about a month With just my ring finger, in the morning, it would be hard to open. My hands, felt like pulling from the wrist down to my ring finger, and then up to my elbow. now I have constant pain in my wrist leading up to my Ring finger to lift anything pick up anything or grip anything without pain
Female | 49
Carpal tunnel syndrome seems to be your interpretation. A squashed nerve in your wrist, which is accompanied by pain, weakness, and tingling in your hand and fingers, is the cause of this problem. It can be due to overstretching your wrist, as one uses a computer or a phone for a long time. As an alternate solution, you could try wearing a wrist splint, doing hand stretches, and taking breaks from activities that involve overextending your wrist. If the pain persists, see an orthopedist for more advice.

I fractured my patella on 7/9/24, and was crap bandge for a week, and I had cast plaster from 15/9/24, plaster was removed on 14/10/24, knee is still swollen, can't bend knee, can't lift leg up, had x-ray, crack is still visible. The doctor said that the bone that is formed now cannot be seen on xray, after three months xray will not show the cracks.
Male | 32
You have a fractured patella. Common symptoms include swelling and difficulty bending or lifting your leg. A visible fracture line on the X-ray means the bone is still healing. Over time, the bone will become stronger, and the cracks will disappear. Continue resting your knee, doing gentle exercises, and consult your orthopedist for guidance. The healing process takes time, but you will recover.

Back pain can be a lot of reasons such as muscle strain or even a slipped disc. In some cases, painkillers may not be enough to get you on the right track. It is the first step in getting the proper treatment, so I recommend getting the help of an orthopedist who can guide you with exercises or physical therapy to make your back muscles stronger and soothe the pain.

You're suffering from pain deep inside your hip, particularly in the wintertime. Conditions like arthritis or bursitis could cause this. To properly diagnose, you should consult an orthopedist. Soft exercises like stretching and strengthening are effective in relieving hip pain.

Male | 35
These symptoms could be due to a condition called fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia causes the pain to be distributed all over the body, apart from other symptoms like constipation and difficulty in breathing. It's essential to see an orthopedist to discuss your symptoms and get the right treatment to help manage the pain and discomfort.

I got a pain below my knee while playing soccer, which is literally hurting me now and my leg is swelling, I'm 21 years old, I think I've injured a vein, the injured area is swelling and feels watery. What can I do in such a situation?
Male | 21
You need to rest and elevate your leg, apply ice wrapped in a cloth, and use a compression bandage. Over thecounter pain relievers can help manage pain and inflammation. But make sure to consult an orthopedic specialist or sports medicine doctor from good hospital for a proper check up. And for vein injury specialised treatment will be required don't delay.

I am suffering in lower back pain and I have disc bulge in my lower back
Male | 22
One of the discs in your back moves out of place and presses nearby nerves. Pain can feel sharp or dull - even traveling down your leg. For relief, rest, use heat or ice, try gentle exercises. But most importantly, talk with an orthopedist for professional advice.
