You need thorough clinical examination with a multidisciplinary team of Orthopedic Surgeon/Neurologists. We need to find out at which neural level is the existing problem Eg. Spinal cord, Peripheral nerve. This should be done ASAP which would improve the chances of recovery.

What was the cause of foot drop? As it is 2 years mentioned by you, tendon transfer seems like plausible treatment. But clinical examination is must. Please visit Orthopaedic Surgeon near you.

Foot drop since 2 years needs a neurologist consultation. Foe symptomatic relief a Physiotherapist can provide with nerve stimulation to help the activation of nerves but always advisable to consult a Neurologist first.

I have grinding in my right shoulder (dominant arm) along with accompanying pain at some times. Last year I was playing basketball and after a few weeks of playing some games I developed a pain in said shoulder. I let the pain fade on its own and discovered the grinding (like a bone on bone contact) in my shoulder. I would like to know if it could be serious and if at this point I could do anything about it. I am an athlete and have had tendinitis in my Achilles tendon (ankle) if that helps anything.

Shoulder pain can come from shoulder impingement. This means shoulder tendons get pinched, resulting in grinding discomfort. Athletes face higher risk due to repeated arm motions. Treatment options include physical therapy exercises to strengthen shoulder muscles. Avoid activities worsening symptoms. Use ice packs to cut inflammation.

Your symptoms are similar to osteoarthritis. This condition occurs when the protective cartilage in the joints wears down over time, causing pain and stiffness. Your doctor may recommend physical therapy, lifestyle changes, or surgery to manage symptoms. Continue monitoring your symptoms and contact your doctor if you experience any new or worsening symptoms.

How to get rid of knee crepitus

Male | 36

Knee crepitus can be from multiple causes. Painless crepitus can be ignored. So, I won't advice for crepitus knee treatment as such.. Crepitus from knee cap problems can be cured with hip and knee strengthening. Crepitus from cartilage irregularities or loose pieces often need minor keyhole surgery. Painful crepitus from arthritis is initially treated with physical therapy and surgery when therapy stops helping.

Im a 17 yo im male my hand hurts so much when i touch a precised place in it i can actually see the bone our comparing to the other hand. Thanks

Male | 17

It looks like you may have broken your hand. A specific point may be very tender and the area can appear different from the other side. It is crucial to have an orthopedist look at this. They will confirm the diagnosis and give you the right treatment which may involve putting on a cast or splint so that the bone can heal properly. Make sure that it is checked as soon as possible so you can begin the recovery process.
