Why Do I Have Severe Throat and Stomach Pain Without Fever?
My throat has been hurting really bad and my stomach is experiencing sharp pains. I don't think I have a fever.

A sore throat and stomach pains have varied reasons. It might signal a viral infection, perhaps a cold or flu. Acid reflux sometimes brings those troubles too. Sip warm water flavored with honey and lemon to ease discomfort. Rest well and avoid spicy cuisine temporarily. However, if symptoms linger, see a gastroenterologist could prove wise.

Hi doctor, um, good evening. I'm coming to you today contacting a clinic with an inquiry. (0:07) So I suffer from very bad anxiety and I recently got a therapist which was only like two months (0:14) ago or so. So within that time frame I've had blood tests done, total blood count and all of (0:21) that and it turns out that I'm not anemic. So within I would say like the past weeks or within (0:27) you know the past year or so occasionally I would get like you know stomach symptoms like diarrhea (0:32) or whatever which my doctor thought was probably IBS and I would get the occasional blood or whatever (0:37) when I strain and stuff like that. So um within the past month I was stressing myself out non-stop (0:45) like I'm constantly stressing but I'm hearing people saying now that I lost a bit of weight (0:50) but my stomach, weight, my legs, my whole body they're the same. I just seem to have lost weight (0:56) within my arms and it's making me freak out because recently today I had a bowel movement and (1:02) I saw the tad little bit of blood again and I've been constantly thinking that I have collateral (1:08) aka colon cancer at the age of 22 and it's really freaking me out and I seem to just cannot (1:15) stop thinking that I have that doctor and it's making my anxiety bad and it's giving me suicidal (1:21) thoughts due to the fact that I think that I have this cancer.

It seems you're worried about your health, especially colon cancer. Having that cancer at 22 is rare. Your arm weight loss could be from anxiety causing muscle loss. Seeing a therapist is good, but talking to your doctor about your worries may help reassure you. Take slow, deep breaths and try relaxation methods to ease anxiety.

Right abdominal pain from 2 days
Male | 2I’m
Two-day-long discomfort on the right belly side may have different sources like digestion problems or tight muscles. One of the symptoms may be feeling tender, bloating, or changing your bowel habits. Using light heat and drinking plenty of fluids can be the two things to try. In addition to this, taking a break from heavy foods could also be the best option. However, whenever you feel too much pain, or fever, or when symptoms are still lingering for too long, it is important to consult a gastroenterologist.

My dad response and reaction had come slow after he had alcohol a week back ...He was fine and very active until then. He used to alcoholic in the past and was ordered not to have alcohol anymore. We have consulted him in Manglore hospital and currently we are giving these tablets...he is improving but very gradually. I feel he is lacking many of the nutrients due to which this is happening.Could you please check. Urosocol 150 Evion 450 Sompraz 40 Cardivas 3.125 Laslilactone 50
Male | 64
It appears that after consuming alcohol, your father may have difficulty reacting and responding too slowly. This could be because his drinking depletes nutrients from his body. Although the pills can help, it is essential for him to also take a lot of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains which are full of vitamins and minerals that promote recovery.

There's a possibility that could be due to urinary tract infection, kidney stones, gastrointestinal issues, or reproductive system disorders. Consult a gynecologist for evaluation.

Male | 17
While colon cancer predominantly affects older individuals, understanding the potential symptoms is crucial. Noticeable signs include abdominal discomfort, changes in bowel patterns, bloody stools, and unexplained weight loss. Adopting a healthy lifestyle with plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and regular exercise can help reduce risks. If you have concerns, consulting a gastroenterologist is advisable.

Hy, my name is Siba. I'm 27 years old. I'm facing a problem of heartburn and acid reflux in my stomach and throat. I'm unable to drink even water because it causes burps and there is continuous gas traped in my stomach. Kindly guide me what medicine should I take. Thank you!
Female | 27
It seems that you are having a problem with acid reflux and gas. Various factors such as diet, stress, or other diseases can lead to these symptoms. To get some relief, go for over-the-counter drugs like antacids, and proton pump inhibitors if your pharmacist approves them. Furthermore, eating small meals more often and cutting out very spicy or acidic foods may help. Being up and about after finishing your meal can also make things easier. Still, because the mere water is problematic, you should consult a gastroenterologist who gives a correct diagnosis and individualized treatment.

Suffering from Piles for last few years, pain has now increased
Female | 26
It's important to address your discomfort. Symptoms such as swelling, bleeding, and increased pain often indicate inflamed veins in the rectal area. Common causes include straining during bowel movements, prolonged sitting, and inadequate fiber intake. To alleviate symptoms, consider increasing dietary fiber, staying hydrated, and engaging in regular exercise. Over-the-counter creams and warm baths may also help. However, given the worsening pain, I encourage you to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide tailored advice and discuss potential treatments to ensure your comfort and well-being.

Iam 44 year old male and have nice back pain and stomach pain.i have ultra sound scan.measuring 4 mm adherent GB wall likely adherent calculus. What I do?
Male | 44
The ultrasound shows the gallbladder wall is 4 mm thick and adherent, probably due to a stone that is lodged in it. This can cause pain and discomfort. In addition, it should be followed up with a gastroenterologist to discuss treatment options, which might include medication or surgery to remove the stone.

Unchanged background of scattered tree-in-bud nodularity seen most prominently in the bilateral lower lobes. Findings are likely due to sequela of low volume aspiration given mildly patulous appearance of the esophagus, concerning for esophageal dysmotility/chronic reflux. Clinical correlation and further evaluation with fluoroscopic guided esophagram may be considered. If patient's symptoms persist or worsen, consider repeat CT chest in 3 to 6 months to further evaluate. No new suspicious pulmonary nodularity or pathologic intrathoracic lymphadenopathy appreciated.
Male | 43
By analyzing the scan results, the doctors found that there are small clusters in the lungs which can be a sign of possible aspiration. This could be because of the problems with the functioning of the esophagus, which may be related to chronic reflux. To be sure, a test called an esophagram could provide more insights. If symptoms continue, another scan in a few months could help track any changes.

Your report suggests a difficult cystic area at the spleen and some kidney adjustments to imply mild effects. That doesn’t mean we should not be concerned by these discoveries. For instance, many of those cystic lesions also need further investigation. The kidneys also might be affected by aging and other variables. A medical check-up with your gastroenterologist is required to discuss these results. They will likely recommend further scans or tests to clarify things.

I’m 21 y.o male I have something like bit big bump under my stomach when it’s under touch or pressure hurts badly
Male | 21
You may have a hernia. If it’s painful, avoid heavy lifting and see a gastroenterologist. When you strain or lift something heavy, a part of your insides is pushed out through a weak spot in your muscles. This could be the cause of the lump under the skin in your lower abdomen. Surgery might be necessary if the pain is severe.

My name is Sylvia I started experiencing sharp pain on the lower left side of my stomach which radiated to the hip it eased abit after taking some painkillers but I'm also getting nausea could you please advice
Female | 25
It sounds as if you've developed some lower left abdominal pain with a prospect of the pain spreading to your hip. Painkillers are lessening the pain to a small extent, however, you're feeling nauseated too. These symptoms can be the signs of an issue in your digestive system like gas, constipation, or even a stomach virus. It's necessary to drink water, eat light foods, and sleep. If there is no improvement, the best thing to do is have a wellness check-up with a gastroenterologist who can properly diagnose and treat you.

mucous is coming from anus with feacal matter and minute blood
Male | 16
The bleeding and the discharge of the mucus from the anus together with poop could be a symptom of inflammation in the intestines. This could be the result of a condition like hemorrhoids, anal fissures, or infections. It is crucial to consume fiber-rich foods, take a lot of water, and not to strain during bowel movements. If these signs persist, seek medical help from a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Ate dinner around 10pm, woke up around 3 am out of sleep with excruciating stomach pain. Tried to sit on my knees in bed and it was hard to move with the level of pain. 8/10 pain. About 30 seconds later I feel overwhelming nausea and intense sweating. Went to the bathroom thinking I might need to pass a bowel because I had gas before going to bed but nothing. Pain is extremely intense and I vomit 3 times. I have laid back down but the stomach pain has transpired to all of my lower abdomen, and dull, ache in my anus as well. I am drinking water, using a hot pad, and pillow between my knees as it eases the pressure on my stomach. Might be unnecessary information but I did cough at one point and it felt like my anus pushed out?? Almost like a prolapse it hurt so bad
Female | 24
It sounds like you're experiencing significant abdominal discomfort, potentially due to indigestion, gas buildup, or another gastrointestinal issue. Nausea, sweating, and vomiting can result from pain and discomfort. While using a hot pad and maintaining hydration is great for comfort, it's essential to seek medical attention, especially since your pain level is high and has spread. A gastroenterologist can evaluate your symptoms and provide appropriate treatment. If your symptoms worsen or persist, please don't hesitate to reach out for help.

Male | 3
Stomach aches in children can be caused by infections, constipation, or food sensitivities. Anafortan is a medicine meant to relieve pain, but it may not always work. Combining Anafortan with Colic Acid can sometimes be unsafe. It’s important not to experiment with medicines, especially those for children. Instead, talk to a gastroenterologist before giving your child any new medicine. The doctor can suggest safer and more effective ways to help your child feel better.

Severe discomfort in your abdomen could indicate a gallbladder issue, often caused by hardened deposits called gallstones. Symptoms may include intense pain in the upper right abdomen, nausea, or digestive problems after eating fatty foods. It's essential to remain calm; many individuals manage this condition successfully. Treatment options range from dietary adjustments to medication or, in some cases, surgical intervention. I encourage you to schedule an appointment with your gastroenterologist to discuss your symptoms and explore personalized care options. Early attention can lead to effective management and relief.
