You are experiencing pain near the navel, are experiencing gases, and regularly urinate at night. They might be symptoms of a urinary tract infection or a prostate condition. Drinking enough water and eating a diet rich in fibers can help with the gas build-up. To effectively handle such symptoms, visit a doctor for diagnosis and treatments.

I am suffering from bad taste of mouth since long and constipation also
Male | 24
You may be experiencing an unpleasant bad taste in your mouth along with constipation, often related to digestive issues. Poor oral hygiene or acid reflux can cause a bad taste, while a lack of fiber or water intake commonly leads to constipation. Try drinking more water, eating fiber-rich fruits and vegetables, and brushing your teeth regularly. If these changes don’t improve your symptoms, consider consulting a gastroenterologist for further guidance.

Female | 29
It looks like you damaged your gastric mucosa or, perhaps, you have a stomach ulcer. It is crucial to see a gastroenterologist as quickly as you can for the accurate root cause of your symptoms and the best treatment. In the interim, it would be wise to steer clear of foods that may irritate your stomach and drink a good amount of water to remain hydrated.

My problem is Gas problems
Male | 26
Feeling bloated or gassy? It happens when there's excess air in your gut. You may burp, pass gas, and feel stuffed. Eat slowly, and skip carbonated drinks and gum-chewing can help. Certain foods like beans and cabbage produce more gas so for the time being avoid these food. For persisting symptoms visit a gastroenterologist.

Stress, certain foods, hormones – they all might trigger IBS flare-ups. But there are things you can try. Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fiber and water. Practice relaxation methods like deep breathing exercises. If it doesn't improve, see a gastroenterologist. They can properly evaluate your condition and recommend treatment options.

I had seen a ultrasound 4 months ago small tumor was found in my uterus doctor gave 20 days medicine and now 20 days ago I am having pain in above belly button slightly right from 20 days I had lost interest in food in 10-12 of pain but I met doctor she wrote some medicine and tests CBC/lft/KFT and whole abdomen ultrasound all reports came normal it's even showing uterus is normal I don't know how , but my pain is still there it's dull and mild I always have a gas problem from starting and I am feeling very tired these days sleeping 12+ hr in a day.
Female | 45
It’s good to know your test results are normal, but persistent mild pain, gas, loss of appetite, and tiredness could indicate digestive or other internal health issues that need further evaluation. You may benefit from consulting a gastroenterologist to explore possible causes related to digestion, and if symptoms continue, a gynecologist to revisit the uterine health aspect.

i’m 16yo I’ve had the flu for 5 days now and my dr prescribed me with ibuprofen for my fever and headache but it caused me to develop an ulcer i got sudden stomach cramps like the type where you need to poo so i went to the bathroom my poo was red i did some research and i think it might be GI bleeding i’ve been to the bathroom 5 times since and every time there’s been blood every time i’m worried but my mom won’t take me to the hospital, she says we can go tomorrow
Female | 16
Red poop can be a symptom of bleeding in the digestive tract, which may be caused by the ulcer and ibuprofen. Stomach cramps and frequent visits to the bathroom are also the reasons for this. This requires immediate medical assistance for the diagnosis and treatment. It would be better if you refused to wait until tomorrow.

Hello. I am 23 years old and I've had heartburn for more than 3 years. Last year in April I took Dexilant 60mg for about 2 weeks and my symptoms were gone for about 2 months. However, the symptoms started coming back after that and I've been having heartburn almost every day since then. I've occasionally been using Pepcid Complete for my symptoms but I know that this isn't a permanent solution. So can you please tell me when I should be worried about heartburn and what kind of treatments are there for heartburn?
Male | 23
Seek medical attention as it could indicate an underlying issue like GERD. It can be treated with lifestyle changes, over the counter medications (antacids and H2 blockers), and prescription medications. Untreated heartburn can lead to complications, so don't delay seeking help. Consult with a gastroenterologist.

Male | Ankit
The symptoms you have could be the digestive issues you are having or the changes in your body after surgery. Stomach upset can occur since the body is getting used to the absence of a gall bladder. Mouth sores might be connected to the changes in your digestion affecting your oral health. Eating small, frequent meals, avoiding fatty or spicy foods, and staying hydrated may help. Nevertheless, you should consult a gastroenterologist for individualized guidance.

What could be causing my abdominal pain and burning sensation, with a mild enlargement in size of my liver and spleen? I'm concerned about the possibility of a serious condition like colon cancer. Can you provide any guidance or information?
Male | 19
Mild enlargement of the liver and spleen, without any focal lesions, can have various causes and may not necessarily indicate a serious disease like colon cancer. Conditions like fatty liver disease, viral infections, inflammation, etc. can be associated with the swelling of these organs.
A proper diagnosis can only be made by a healthcare professional like a gastroenterologist after considering your complete medical history.

I have a question. My boyfriend took 15 multivitamin pills, he is 33 years old, 159cm, around 60-65 kgs. I think he took around 120 mg of iron which those pills had. It happened earlier today, He was nauses, had diarrhea that looked black and oily and sticky, his stomach hurt he went to the toilet like 5 times. He went to sleep assuring me he will be fine but im worried, could it be internal bleeding? He doesnt normally use vitamins, not sure but i dont think he has iron deficiency. it happened today. He takes adderrall, he didnt eat today, and he had about half a bottle of red wine. First he took 8 pills, then 4, then 3 all in the span of a few hours, i think his last was like 12 hours ago?
Male | 33
It appears that your boyfriend may have an upset stomach after consuming a large number of multivitamin tablets that contain iron. Black, icky, tar-like poop and abdominal tenderness are indicative of possibly internal bleeding. The situation could have been aggravated considering he ingested Adderall, skipped meals, and drank alcohol. He must seek immediate medical attention.

I'm going through the condition of food allergy and intolerance. Want to seek consultation for same. I've got the tests done ok n advice of my gastroenterologist. Now seeking advice from Immunologist/allergist. Plz let me know incase you can help me.
Female | 41
Sure! You might have food allergies or intolerances, which can make certain foods cause problems like stomach aches, rashes, or trouble breathing. These happen because your body mistakenly thinks some foods are harmful. The best thing to do is avoid these trigger foods. An allergist can help you find out which foods to avoid and how to manage your symptoms.

I had a colonoscopy on Friday and I am super bloated with major cramps. I also have barely been able to use the restroom since and it hurts to touch my abdomen.
Female | 35
You're having some unpleasant sensations after your colonoscopy. After the procedure, one may feel a little bloated with cramps and experience a difficult time using the restroom. It can be attributed to the air that gets stuck in your colon or the irritation of your intestines. To relieve the discomfort, drink plenty of water, walk around gently, and eat light and easy-to-digest foods like fruits and veggies. Your body needs some time to recover, but if the pain continues or worsens, contact a gastroenterologist for more advice.

I have messy stoola in once or twice a day mostly in morning since last one or 2 months. There us no pain or cramps but bloating nd gas problem I have. Whats the reason for it...I am 22 yrs old female...
Female | 22
The irritable bowel syndrome, or bloating gas, can stem from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is a common ailment of the digestive tract. You are by the way at the same age as other people who suffer from this condition. Stress, diet, and allergies to specific foods may all cause IBS. Take the food diary exercise, so you can track what's triggering it. Besides, ensure you take fluids and fiber-rich foods as well. In cases where the problems persist, visiting a gastroenterologist can provide more insight and possible treatment options.
