MCT oil can sometimes lead to digestive changes, especially in children. This could cause uncomfortable bowel movements, especially if your child has celiac disease, which affects how the body processes certain foods. Symptoms like this can arise from dietary adjustments or sensitivity to specific ingredients. It’s essential to ensure that any new food introduced is suitable for your child's condition. I recommend closely monitoring their reactions and consulting your pediatrician for personalized guidance. They can provide tailored advice and alternatives to keep your child's nutrition in balance while addressing any discomfort.

I have a sudden pains near the belly button and right lower corner of the abdomen which is sharp and it comes suddenly in the evening .

Female | 18

Your symptoms suggest appendicitis - an inflamed appendix. Pain starts sharply near the navel, then shifts to the lower right abdomen. Fever, nausea, vomiting often occur too. Act quickly! Appendicitis needs urgent hospital treatment, maybe surgery. Delaying risks major complications. Head to the ER without delay if these signs match your condition.

MY sister underwent a laparoscopic surgery to remove gall bladder due to stone and found appendix also , was also removed. Now its been 2 months and she is experiencing weight loss and less appetite. when checked blood found SGOT-72.54 AND SGPT 137.47, what is the reason

Female | 27

Your sister's weight loss and reduced appetite after surgery are normal. Her body is adjusting to the change. High SGOT and SGPT blood levels indicate liver inflammation, which is common post-surgery. This also affects appetite. Follow up with her doctor. They may recommend diet changes or medicines to help her recover and regain appetite.

I’m wondering what is wrong with me or if I should go to the ER or make an appointment I’ve been having real bad pain on my left lower abdomen hurts when applying pressure to abdomen with stretching sometimes walking and flexing

Female | 26

A condition you seem likely to have is appendicitis. Your appendix is inflamed. The symptoms: stabbing agony in your lower tummy, mostly on the left, getting worse when you apply hand pressure, bend, walk around, or flex your body. If you experience these signs, head straight to the emergency room, immediately. Appendicitis generally needs surgical removal of the appendix to stop dangerous complications from arising.

Albendazole is a common treatment, yet sometimes it falls short. If you still see worms after taking it, don't be afraid. Doctors might suggest a different medication or extend the treatment duration.
