Pain on your left side and chronic headaches, the two motions you report might stem from several causes for instance nerve trouble or muscle health issues. The electric shock, which you describe as the jerk and jolt you feel, may well be associated with the nerve sensations. It mimics or is seen as the breathing pattern of a muscle when someone overuses or tightens the muscle during a workout, causing intercostal muscle pain. You should be upfront with your health issues and choose a neurologist to get an appropriate diagnosis followed by a treatment plan that is suitable for you.

When Parkinson's is this far along, it's a good idea to get care at a special hospital. The hospital can help manage your dad's symptoms. He might benefit from physical therapy to stay as active as possible. The doctors may change his medications or consider surgery to help him feel better. Before going to the hospital, gather all your dad's medical records. Write down notes about how he's been doing lately. This information will help the doctors understand his situation and make a good treatment plan just for him.

What causes sudden faint
Male | 16
Sometimes, people faint unexpectedly. This occurs when blood doesn't reach the brain sufficiently. It might be low blood pressure, or maybe the heart rate dropped suddenly. Rapid standing, dehydration, and low blood sugar often cause fainting. To avoid it, stand up slowly from seated positions. Also, drink plenty of fluids regularly. Eating frequent meals helps maintain stable blood sugar levels.

"Hello, I am a 23-year-old woman weighing 36 kg. I ingested 50 mg of amitriptyline all at once on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 1 pm. After the ingestion, I slept for around 24 hours and did not experience any severe symptoms during the first 48 hours, which made me believe I was in the clear. My prescribed dose is 10 mg twice a day for amitriptyline. I have IBS. However, I am now experiencing dizziness and lightheadedness, which started today, December 3, 2024, at 8 pm. This symptom did not occur earlier, and I am concerned that it might be related to the overdose. Could this dizziness or lightheadedness be a delayed effect of the overdose? Is this symptom potentially serious, and should I take any immediate actions or seek further medical evaluation? Should I wait before resuming my regular prescribed dose of amitriptyline, or do I need to undergo any tests or monitoring before restarting my medication?"
Female | 23
It is possible to experience dizziness and lightheadedness following consumption of higher doses of amitriptyline, even in a delayed manner. Considering your weight and the amount you took, it will be important to keep an eye on these symptoms. I urge you to go to a healthcare professional for assessment as quickly as you can.

Taking a break from activities that require mental concentration, drinking enough water, steering clear of triggers, and keeping in touch with your neurologist are all necessary steps for your recovery.
