1 Answer

Answered on 21st June '24

One of the most frequent concerns facing people is the openness of the pores. Open pores can cause rough and uneven skin. The causes of these pores usually include genetics, oiliness, sunburn, and even old age. One of the ways to decrease the face of open pores is to use salicylic acid or retinoids for day and night skin treatment. Regular cleansing of your face followed by application of sunscreen can also be helpful.

Our dog accidently scratch my hands with his teeth but there is no cuts, bleeding or wounds can i get rabies?

Female | 22

If a dog of yours scratches or nips at you and you don't see any signs of bleeding, cuts, or wounds, the risk of rabies is among the lowest. Rabies is mostly an infection through saliva, hence, when there is no open wound, the chances are minimal. Watch out for any strange signs such as a fever, headache, or tingling in the area near the scratch. In the event, you spot something peculiar, it's best to get checked out by a doctor anyway. But for now, you should be just fine. Rinse the wound under running water and lather it with soap to disinfect it.

Hi...i am having itchy rash outside my vagina and thighs , its been 2days

Female | 24

Fungal infections can lead to an itchy rash in the vaginal and thigh area. The warm and humid climate is an ideal growth environment for fungi. Keep the area dry and clean. You can use antifungal creams available over the counter to help clear it up. Moreover, wearing loose and breathable clothes is also important.

Psoriasis Do you have the treatment for this disease? The child is in a lot of pain, please help us a little.

Male | 26

Psoriasis is a common disease that causes red, painful, and rough patches on the skin. It happens when the immune system goes out of control and skin cells grow too fast. A dermatologist can prescribe therapy to relieve the skin. After treatment, using creams or lotions helps reduce dryness and itching. Keeping the skin clean and well-moisturized can also help reduce discomfort.

Can you wear acrylics nails for a tonsillectomy

Female | 15

Acrylic nails aren't recommended before tonsillectomy surgery. Those fake nails could harbor germs, making hand hygiene tricky. During tonsillectomy, doctors remove tonsils, often due to infections or breathing issues. Clean hands prevent surgical site infections, so natural nails are only for this procedure. Wait until you've recovered fully before getting acrylics again.

Actually i got a little scratch by a street dog’s nail but it’s not deep also so pls recommend me what should i do.. i can also share the pic of it for better suggestion

Female | 17

I can see that scratching you due to a street dog can be a worrying issue for you. From your information, the scratch is not too deep, which may mean there is a low chance of infection. Watch out for any redness, swelling, or warmth around the area. First of all, wash the scratch using soap and water and then apply the antiseptic cream to the area to avoid any further infection. Watch the scratch for a few days, and if you spot any of the infection signs that are getting worse, like more pain, redness, or pus formation, it is better to go to a doctor.
