Itcing in the genital area attributable to problems like bacterial infections, various irritations from products or allergies is possible. Typical signs and symptoms may be itchiness or redness. Keeping up personal hygiene with a gentle soap, wearing soft fabrics, and avoiding strong odors is the way to do this. If it is a fungal infection, the doctor may advise some over-the-counter antifungal creams. However, if it is crucial to consult a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.

I am 24 yrs old i m hair loss around the penis please give suggestions

Male | 24

The penis area hair loss reason can be different. The rubbing of garments or activities is a common one. Also, psoriasis or fungal infections may cause hair to drop in that location. Use antidandruff medicine if it itches or appears red, keep it neat and dry besides dressing with comfortable clothes regularly is essential for preventing more hair fall in this region.

I am 20 years old female and have moles and scars on face so I request you to suggest best treatment for removal moles and scars and my face's skin is sensitive and oily.

Female | 20

There are a few treatments available to help remove moles and scars on the face. The best treatment for you will depend on the severity of your moles and scars.

For milder cases of moles and scars, over-the-counter topical creams and ointments can be used. These products typically contain retinol, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and other ingredients that help to reduce the appearance of moles and scars.

For more severe cases, you may need to consider laser treatments or chemical peels. Laser treatments help to remove moles and scars by targeting and destroying the cells that cause them. Chemical peels help to remove scars and moles by removing the outer layers of skin, causing the skin to heal with a smoother, more even appearance.

It is important to note that these treatments require a professional to administer them, so be sure to consult with a dermatologist to determine the best treatment for your skin. Additionally, it is important to note that these treatments may cause redness, swelling, and even scarring, so it is important to be aware of the potential risks before proceeding.

Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. Here are the photos of hers: https://ibb.co/q9t8bSL https://ibb.co/Q8rqcr1 https://ibb.co/JppswZw https://ibb.co/Hd9LPkZ Would you mind helping us to identify what caused this skin condition?

Hy good evening sir... My name is Rahif and I am currently working in saudi arabia... I am facing mouth irritation like small bumps under right side of my tounge ,they come and go away but not permanently from last some months also from last some days I am facing oral thrush, can you guide me please..

Male | 27

The little bumps under your tongue that appear and disappear might be swollen taste buds, which don’t pose any danger. Conversely, oral thrush is a result of yeast infection. This is quite widespread and can be cured with antifungal drugs that should be prescribed by a physician. Do not forget to brush your teeth regularly and to follow a balanced diet.

I have ringworm for almost 4 months .some of the ringworm in my inner thighs and now in pubic area too. Some of them under my breast too.applied clotrimazole, terbinafine ointments. But didn't worked. What should I do

Female | 18

It looks like you have bad case of ringworm which did not respond to the OTC medicines. I suggest that as soon as possible you see a dermatologist who specializes in fungal infections. They may give you oral antifungal medicine and topical treatment to improve the result. Seek urgent medical care since untreated ringworm can cause problems.

Greetings sir my daughter is four years old she was some what black with your suggestion I want her for skin whitening treatment which one is permanent for her chemical peel or Laser treatment please suggest me sir

Female | 4

Neither of these treatments is recommended for children under the age of 18. Chemical peels and laser treatments are not permanent skin whitening treatments. These treatments can help to reduce the appearance of dark spots, but they will not permanently lighten the skin.

My son is having rashes and ring Mark's on his hands and legs since one month we stay in HSR LAYOUT Bangalore please suggest what to do

Male | 14

The treatment depends on the diagnosis and the cause of rashes and ring marks. Rashes and ring marks can be caused by a variety of reasons such as eczema, allergy, fungal infections etc. I advise you to take your son to a doctor for knowing the exact cause and diagnosis of rashes and ring marks. Based on that, a proper treatment plan can be recommended.

Hi Doctor, I'm experiencing a recurring skin issue. It starts as a small red dot, which then develops into a sore, causing skin damage. The sore heals after 2-3 weeks, but instead of resolving, the condition spreads to a new location just above the previous sore.

Male | 24

You may have a skin condition known as impetigo. It is usually first seen as a red point and develops into an ulcer thereafter ten days or so, and is finally healed. It may also spread to other skin areas on the body. This is the result of bacteria entering the body through small cuts or sores. In a clean environment, and with the help of antibiotic ointment, the skin can be healed.

  1. Resistant acne and severe acne not responding to conventional treatments needs the consultation of a qualified dermatologist. Most of the times resistant acne has underlying hormonal imbalance which has to be diagnosed and addressed. Certain conditions like PCOS, insulin resistance, steroid abuse, certain drugs may be cause of severe acne. A dermatogist may advise certain blood investigations, to understand the cause behind acne and may prescribe drugs like Oral contraceptive pills, oral retinoids or antibiotics along with procedural treatment to treat the acne and long term resolution
  2. Genetic tone of skin cannot be changed. However tan or any other acquired skin pigmentation can be improved by topical creams, sunscreens etc. chemical peels, laser toning and other  procedures can help in stubborn pigmentation
