I am 27 year old living in ranchi kanke road , having serious problem of dandruff hairfall and my hair color is changing into white even some part of beard as well. Kindly help me with the treatment.
Male | 27
Dandruff in the scalp is due to excess sebum (natural oil) production along with increased activity of a fungus called Malassezia in the scalp. Antifungal shampoos containing Ketoconazole, Ciclopirox, selenium sulphide can help treat the dandruff. If it is severe, oral antifungals are also prescribed for a short duration. Salicylic acid, coal tar shampoos are also prescribed in case of excess flakiness of scalp. Hair fall may be due to dandruff, nutritional deficiencies, stress or due to genetic factors. It is recommended to visit a dermatologist who can diagnose the cause of hairfall and may suggest treatment accordingly. Trichoscopy of the scalp may help in understanding the nature of the scalp and condition. Nutritional supplements, Capixyl containing serum, Minoxidil solution, oral supplements containing vitamin and minerals are prescribed by the dermatologist to treat the hair loss. Change in hair colour in beard and scalp may be due to nutritional deficiencies or strong hair colours or genetic causes. Dermatologist’s help may be needed to treat the same. Calcium pantothenate containing supplements may help slow down the greying and sometimes restore the colour of hair.

I got a bump on my finger, it's pretty large, redish in colour, round and it has a small black point in the middle, it doesn't hurt or itch but it looks concerning. I don't know exactly when it got there but it's been less than 2 months. When i asked Mr Google, it obviously showed me cancer-related links like always haha, i don't usually take Google seriously but the thing is cancer runs in my family and my grandma is a triple-cancer survivor, including skin cancer, i'm also a smoker and i enjoy tanning during the summer, which adds to the problem. Should i be concerned or is it just medical anxiety and it's only a normal bump?
Female | 19
The bump on your finger could be a common situation called a wart. Warts are mostly painless and can sometimes have a black dot in the center. They are due to a virus which is not usually dangerous. But, if you are in doubt, the best thing is to get a dermatologist to check it.

My throat and various joints of my body are very dark for the last 2years Dermatologyy
Female | 10
Keep an eye on the changes in your body. If the throat or joints become dark or discolored, this could be a warning sign. The condition is called acanthosis nigricans. It can also be due to being overweight, having diabetes, or having hormonal changes. Helping this can be done by eating a balanced diet, controlling the weight, and being active. Getting a consultation from a dermatologist for the right guidance is advisable.

Hello. Roughly one month ago I purchased a home wart removal kit to remove what appeared to be a benign wart on the back of my knee. The nozzle on this device broke during use, spraying an area roughly two inches in diameter on my skin with dimethyl ether. This caused a small superficial frostbite/burn, but didn't take care of the wart so I used another kit afterwards which used a swab rather than a nozzle. After using both of these, the area blistered. This blister quickly popped and fell off on its own after just a day, leaving an area of incredibly raw and bloody skin. I applied neosporin to this area regularly and kept it clean allowing it to heal. It's been a month now and while this area isn't entirely healed, it has protective skin on it now. My issue here is the area has a blotchy dark coloration now, looking almost like bruising. This seems odd to me given that it's been a month now, should I be worried about this coloration? There is no pain at the site, though the skin there is quite thin and rough.
Male | 32
Its natural to experience discoloration in skin especially after a blister or wound has occurred. color changes during the healing process. It could be due to hyperpigmentation which is the increased production of melanin in that area. This can result in a bruise-like appearance.

I am 19 years old mera lip pe ek green green mark h pta nhi kyu h pls dr.reply
Female | 19
The skin might have become green due to Pityriasis versicolor, a fungal infection. This occurs when the skin produces too much oil or sweat. Keep your skin dry and clean, and use antifungal creams if necessary. If that doesn’t help, it’d be best to consult a dematologist.

Best sunscreen for oily skin and acne prone skin for teenagers girls
Female | 16
Taking care of oily, acne-prone skin is a priority for many teenage girls. Sunscreen plays a vital role in skin protection. Choose oil-free and non-comedogenic sunscreens. These won't clog pores or make your skin greasy. Look for zinc oxide or titanium dioxide ingredients. They are gentle. Sunscreen prevents skin damage and premature aging. Establish a daily sunscreen habit for healthy skin.

You should consult with a dermatologist regarding Accutane for cystic acne. Given your prolonged struggle with acne and its severity, Accutane may be a viable option. However, it's crucial to consider potential side effects and weigh them against the benefits. Your dermatologist can provide personalized guidance based on your medical history and current health status.

Female | 26
The fine lines and dullness can occur due to the aging process and sun exposure. The under-eye bumps may be milia or small cysts. Dark circles can be caused by lack of sleep or genetics. Open pores are usually associated with oily skin. You can use gentle exfoliants, retinol creams, eye creams, and skin-tightening serums to help these issues.

I am having severe hairfall. I have tried homeopathy and ashwagandha, but no results. What should I do??
Female | 23
Homeopathy may work for some people, but not necessarily everyone.
I will advice you to get your Trichoscpic examination done which will help in getting to the root cause of your problem. Persistent hair fall is a multifactorial condition which requires scalp lotions, some nutritional supplementation and some appropriate shampoos along with therapies. I am 22 years old and I am facing with eczema on my finger it's kind of a dry itchy and small swellings on that finger and that spreading on other fingers of my hand too I have tried many creams but it helps temporarily and again the condition continues.. what should I do?
Female | 22
When ignored, eczema can cause dry, itchy skin with small bumps that may spread to other fingers. This condition is usually not contagious but uncomfortable. Eczema may be brought about by allergens or irritants present in the environment or stressors at home or the workplace. To manage this kind of problem, always keep the skin moisturized all the time; avoid anything that triggered the outbreak such as harsh detergent soaps among others–instead use mild ones which are readily available over-the-counter (OTC) drugs like hydrocortisone creams can also work effectively if prescribed by doctors specializing in treating diseases related with epidermis.

Small rashes starts on face yesterday today it spread on chest and back and also fingers...it doesn't feel itching but it is spread gradually..
Male | 7
Rashes that start on the face and spread to the chest, back, and fingers without itching may be caused by a virus such as “viral exanthem”. The virus creates a rash that can spread over time. Ensure that you maintain your cleanliness and take plenty of fluids, you could also use mild lotions. Also, try not to scratch one needs to get enough rest when having this type of infection. Get medical advice from a dermatologist if there are any other developments or if the condition worsens.

My skin tone has become very dark no glow on face and After sometime I am getting married and I want to make the skin a beautiful glowing So please suggest me what treatment should I do.
Female | 28
Achieving a beautiful, glowing skin tone before your wedding involves a combination of skincare and lifestyle practices. Consider incorporating the following steps:
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin well-hydrated, which contributes to a natural glow.
Skincare Routine: Follow a consistent skincare routine that includes cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and sun protection. Consider using products with ingredients like vitamin C for brightening effects.
Chemical Peels: Consult with a dermatologist about chemical peels. These treatments can help remove dead skin cells, improve skin texture, and promote a radiant complexion.
Microdermabrasion: This exfoliation technique can contribute to smoother and more luminous skin by removing the top layer of dead skin cells.
Healthy Diet: Consume a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and antioxidants. These nutrients support overall skin health.
Avoid Sun Damage: Protect your skin from harmful UV rays by using sunscreen with adequate SPF. Sun exposure can contribute to darkening of the skin.
Before considering any treatments, consult with a dermatologist who can assess your skin type and recommend personalized solutions.

I am having problem with my piercing the hole on the top of the skin is closed but the earing is stuck from behind what to do
Female | 20
Your piercing might cause some trouble. Sometimes, the hole on top of your skin may close up while the earring remains stuck from behind. This can happen when the skin wraps around the back of the earring. You might experience pain, redness, or swelling. To solve this, you can gently try pushing the earring out from the back or seek help from a professional piercer. Never force it out, as that can cause more harm.

i have vein type structure on my penis glans from 3 months. what's that?
Male | 22
If you notice some vein-like structures on your penis glans, those are likely just normal blood vessels that have become more visible. You may notice this more during arousal. Usually, it’s not anything to worry about and doesn’t need treatment. However, if they are causing you pain or discomfort, or if they have appeared suddenly, it would be best for you to see a doctor so they can be evaluated further.

For vitiligo problem please inform me details
Female | 60
Vitiligo is a skin infection that shows up as white regions on the skin. The main path to getting these is when the skin's melanocyte cells add color. Even though why the cells die is a mystery, for the time being, the immune system might be at fault. A cure for vitiligo doesn't exist, but with therapies such as light therapy or creams, patients can experience some relief. Remember to take care of your skin using sunblock as well. If the condition doesn't improve, please visit a dermatologist.

I have these red spots on my hands that have been there since July but they have only gotten worse. They are very itchy and my arms and legs are also itchy recently. I thought it might have been something I’ve caught off someone as he also had a skin issue on his hands.
Female | 20
You may have a skin condition called eczema. Eczema can manifest itself as red and itchy spots on hands, arms, and legs. This is not something that you can pick up from another person. Stress, allergies, or dry skin are the factors that make it worse. Gentle moisturizers and avoiding the use of harsh soaps can be safe variations. If it still bothers you, visit a dermatologist.
