Answered on 10th Feb '25
It sounds like you're experiencing a type of insomnia, which can affect your overall well-being. Factors like stress, lifestyle, or underlying health issues might contribute to difficulty sleeping at night while feeling sleepy during the day. Since you’ve tried several medications without success, it is important to explore other options. Consider establishing a calming bedtime routine, limiting screen time before sleep, and practicing relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation. Please consult a psychiatrist for personalized advice and alternative treatments.

Do you practice emdr or neurofeedback therapy for your patients who are suffering from psychological trauma?
Female | 40
EMDR helps process trauma memories, while neurofeedback teaches the brain to calm itself. Both treatments can help, but it's wise to consult a psychiatrist first. That way, you can find the right therapy approach suited for your unique problem.

I am feeling very isolated and alone today. I am feeling that the worl has kicked me out.
Female | 13
These feelings may have various origins, such as stress, experiencing life changes, or lack of social interaction. It's necessary to do the things you like, connect to other people, and try out different hobbies to distinguish them. Physical exercise and the right daily plan can also brighten your day. If these feelings remain, I seriously suggest that you talk to a healthcare professional who can give you their enduring love and encouragement.

So, i took a 30mg codeine tablet. Then 5 minutes later i forgot i had taken it. So took another. So iv taken 60mg in 1sitting. Will i be ok. Im 33 weigh about 10st4. Relatively mind strong. I was just curios
Male | 34
If you take 60mg of codeine all at once, it is more likely to cause some side effects. One of the side effects is that you may become very sleepy, feel dizzy, or have problems with breathing. Whenever a medicine reaction like the one described here happens, it is best to remain calm and save your life without increasing the doses further. In addition, it is recommended to stay hydrated, sit down, and be observant of the body's feelings for possible encounters.

Female | 42
You're taking 4mg of diazepam, and 10mg of ramipril for panic disorder. These medicines interact. Diazepam boosts ramipril's effect, causing low blood pressure, and dizziness. They make you drowsier, dizzier, lightheaded. If experiencing these symptoms, consult your healthcare provider about adjusting medications.

I wonder if I have a form of OCD. I finger tap, muscle twitch, and count syllables. Also, when I finger tap and muscle twitch, it has to be equal on both sides of my body, or else it really bothers me. Also, let's say I hit my elbow on a table or fridge, I feel a very urgent need to touch my other elbow to said table or fridge, and it is very hard to ignore the need. This has been bothering me for about 2-3 years. (Ever since I started high school).
Female | 16
Your description points to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) symptoms. OCD is a condition where thoughts repeat. People feel compelled to do actions repeatedly. This includes tapping, counting, or needing symmetry. OCD treatment usually involves therapy and medication. Speaking with a psychiatrist about symptoms is crucial.

It seems that you may be going through a type of depersonalization. That means that a person can observe life like an outside spectator from the viewpoint of seeing himself/herself acting. It can be associated with anxiety, stress, and other mental health issues as well. It is highly advised to communicate with someone you trust or a counselor about how you feel. They will be able to provide you with coping mechanisms. Besides, resting well, eating properly, and take a couple of breaths or practising mindfulness can also be beneficial to keep your mind at peace.
