Missing a menstrual period can be influenced by various factors including stress, significant weight changes, hormonal imbalances, or medical conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome. Symptoms may include mood swings, fatigue, or changes in appetite. It's important to look at your overall well-being and lifestyle. If this has occurred once, consider tracking your cycle and managing stress. However, if it continues or you experience other concerning symptoms, please consult a gynecologist. They can provide a thorough evaluation and personalized advice, ensuring your health remains a priority.

About 2 months ago I have a c section delivery. From that my periods came after 15 days or this time I have a period or bleeding is not stopping at my 7 day or it is now 9 day of my period
Female | 24
Irregular periods after giving birth are the most common complications of childbirth. Often, the hormones that our body gives us can provoke the bleeding to last longer than normal. Make sure to drink sufficient water, eat healthy, and sleep enough. If the problem continues, talk to your gynecologist for advice.

When is best to have intercourse to conceive with a 26days cycle my last period was September 26 to 28
Female | 23
Your ovulation model shows a 26-day cycle. The period between 26 and 28 of September is the best time for you to conceive around October 10-11. This is when you are most likely ovulating which means an egg is ready to meet sperm. Observing signs like increased vaginal discharge or gentle discomfort in your lower abdomen which is also called ovulation pain will help you in conceiving. Get the cycle record improved to track faulty periods, thus increasing the odds of successful fertilization.

i took pills for 7 days femicon pills but took a break of 3 days after 3 days have unprotected sex then took norix pills is there any chances of pregnancy?
Female | 22
It is natural to be worried about an unintended pregnancy once you get back to your regular contraceptive method. Ao you are off the pills may reduce their efficiency and unprotected sex with your partner at that time might make her pregnant. The pill Norix if it is used in cases like this and as an emergency contraceptive, can be helpful to lower the risk if taken fast. Keep in mind that if you are suffering from a symptom like skipped periods or abnormal vaginal bleeding, it can still be another condition that is not pregnancy. To know whether your period was delayed because of pregnancy, you may take a home pregnancy test. For the initial introduction, I advise you to seek counsel from a gynecologist for personalized advice and reassurance over the case that concerns you.

I have been taking contraceptives for some time now and my last time of taking was December 15 I haven't had sex till now my menses came December n last month but was supposed to come last week but it didn't come. I checked for pregnancy n it was negative
Female | 27
Hormonal contraceptives do affect your menstrual cycle. Also if your pregnancy test is negative then the period delay can be due to stress, changes in weight, or certain medications.

A period that last 1 or 2 days is it normal
Female | 24
Having periods lasting merely 1 or 2 days isn't typical. However, stress, hormonal shifts, extreme weight loss - these factors can cause it. If your periods usually run longer but suddenly turn brief, take note. Relax, eat well. If this continues, consult a gynecologist.

Pregnancy problem pcod problem
Female | 23
Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCOD) can make getting pregnant tricky. Irregular periods, weight gain, acne, and excessive hair growth are common signs. Hormone imbalances disrupting ovaries' function cause PCOD. A healthy diet, exercising regularly, and medication can help regulate hormones and boost fertility. Don't hesitate to consult a gynecologist for advice on managing PCOD and preparing for pregnancy.

I am 19 year old female and have menstrual problem. I ate i pill and got mild periods for 7-8 days with little bleeding and again got periods on normal days and also after 7 days it's not stopping, what to do
Female | 19
It seems that you are having a situation of abnormal bleeding; the causes of which could be the changes in level of hormones, stress, or consumption of medications. Prolonged but light menses are a symptom of an imbalance that is yet to be uncovered, however, it is mandatory to get more familiar with your body. My advice is to keep a record of your menstruation cycle. And if it concerns you you may consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.

Hi, I got just removed iud ,I'm 9 weeks pregnant but I still bleed , is pregnancy safe or not ?
Female | 39
Hemorrhaging after the removal of the IUD during pregnancy is no longer an unfamiliar problem. Still, I would recommend consulting with a gynecologist or obstetrician before undertaking any such activity to ascertain the safety of the pregnancy.

I had sex 2 months back with protection I didn't get periods yet I have irregular periods from beginning I took urine test it's negative am I pregnant
Female | 23
Periods can act unpredictably sometimes, which is completely normal. Even if you had safe sex and the urine test was negative, there's still a tiny chance of pregnancy. Stress can also delay periods. If you're still worried, you could take another test in a week or two. If concerns persist, chat with a gynecologist for personalized advice.

I am 3 weeks pregnant. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my previous pregnancies were sound and i had normal delivery both times. Last 3 days i am having vaginal bleeding with clots and tissue like discharge. The color of blood is dark red or red-brown type. And my midwife says today that my cervix is 1cm open. I have another blood test today to make sure if i am pregnant or not, but it’s positive again. Right now i am having some financial challenges. I am feeling helpless. Please help me with your advice.
Female | 31
Bleeding with clots and tissue-like discharge, plus your cervix being partly open, is worrying. This could mean a miscarriage is happening. It's important to visit a gynecologist to figure out what's going on.

My period was due 3 days back , still haven't got it yet. Having nausea and clear watery discharge for the past four days
Female | 25
You might be experiencing early signs of pregnancy. Sometimes, if your period is late along with symptoms like nausea and clear discharge, it could indicate pregnancy. To be sure, take a home pregnancy test. If it’s negative, the delay could be due to stress or hormonal changes.

i am 26 years old female. Ultrasound showing bilateral ovaries are normal in size with right ovary measuring 37.7x27.5x21.9mm (11.89cc) and left ovary measuring 37.1x20.1x32.5mm (12.67cc) and show multiple small sized peripherally arranged follicles with echogenic central stroma. But blood reports showing high insulin level i.e, 48 and low estradiol i.e, 9 rest of the hormones are normal also sugar is low. Do i have pcos?
Female | 26
PCOS can cause irregular periods, acne, hair growth, and difficulty getting pregnant. High insulin and low estradiol levels are among the possible PCOS factors. Eating healthy foods, exercising, and sometimes medication can help PCOS. It's important to meet with a gynecologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

I'm 27 year old female,I got married in April 2023 , I got my periods in 28 days but from the 6 months I will get between 30 to 35 days , is it normal or should I consult doctor and I put on weight (93kg)
Female | 27
It’s normal for your periods to change a bit after marriage. Stress or weight gain due to different lifestyles can affect your cycle. Having irregular periods could be because of these. If you’ve gained some weight, it may be a factor. Doing exercises to lose some weight and eating healthier may help in regulating the period. However, if it persists, seek further advice from a gynecologist.

2kids mom is it safe to take EC pils to avoid pregnancy
Female | 38
Emergency birth control pills block pregnancy after unprotected sex. They delay ovulation, prevent fertilization, or stop a fertilized egg from implanting. Frequent effects are feeling sick, puking, tiredness, and off menstrual cycles. EC pills aren't meant for regular use, only occasional protection emergencies. Don't depend on them for constant birth control; that's risky. Consult a gynecologist if you're unsure about using them safely.
