Two weeks after I had unprotected sex with a guy eight years ago I had potential HIV symptoms (a fever, chills etc) that lasted approximately 72 hours. I thought nothing of this at the time. I've had safe sex ever since, but I'm just curious as to what this could be, seeing as I didn't take another test after that due to my use of condoms. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please give clarity and pull me out of this fear. I had intercouse on oct 24th which has anal penetration without vaginal penetration and ejaculation. Did urine pregnancy test on Dec 30 with evening urine and showed negative result.
