A low TSH level and elevated T3 can indicate hyperthyroidism. Symptoms might include fatigue, rapid heartbeat, and mood swings. This condition can arise from several causes, including autoimmune disorders. It's crucial to monitor this situation closely, as thyroid imbalances can affect your pregnancy. I highly recommend discussing these results with your healthcare provider, who can assess your specific situation and suggest appropriate treatments if necessary.

I'm 22 years old ,,I'm too lean, but I'm not tired anymore,,i have no thyroid issues ,,,,but my waist and thighs are so thin my face also too lean ,,,will u plz prescribe me weight gain injections for me
Female | 22
A fast metabolism or a shortage in the diet can be the reason for a person's problem of maintaining a normal weight. Weight-gaining shots are a bit unsafe since they can have side effects. To gain pounds the healthy way, you should eat foods that are high in proteins, fats, and carbohydrates such as nuts, avocados, and whole grains. Everyday activities like pushups and weightlifting can help you increase your muscles. If you feel that you are too skinny consult a nutritionist for advice.

Your complaints of irregular periods, weight increase, and fat around the belly may be a result of your hormones being unbalanced. Hormones in the body are the communication agents that regulate several functions such as our menstrual cycle and weight. It is vital to consult a doctor who will find out what the problem is and prescribe the needed treatment. They may offer lifestyle changes, medicines, or other alternatives to regulate your hormones and improve your health.

It is natural to worry about Amit. His immune system might have difficulty in fighting infections, especially type 1 diabetic patients. Fever, weakness, and abdominal pain can be symptoms of typhoid or kidney problems. They should give him light food, drink plenty of water, and check his blood sugar regularly. However, a professional checkup for these symptoms is a must. Please contact a doctor so that they can guide you to the correct diagnosis and treatment. Best wishes for a quick recovery!

Hello, I have high anxiety. My anxiety likes to convince me that whenever I start to feel hungry, my blood sugar is dropping even if I ate 3-4 hours prior. I don’t have any blood sugar issues, I’ve gotten tested for it before. To put my anxiety at ease, how does blood sugar drop?
Female | 17
Low blood sugar can sometimes be caused by not consuming the food for a very long time or some underlying health issues. Consuming meals and snacks at regular intervals has a positive impact on your blood sugar levels and definitely reduces your anxiety.

Male | 30
The two conditions relate to hormone imbalance in the body. Thyroid problems can make you feel tired, gain or lose weight, and shiver. PCOS may cause menstrual irregularities, acne, and fertility problems. The best way to keep these conditions under control is with a healthy lifestyle including regular workouts and a balanced diet. Hormone regulation drugs may be required too.

When the levels of your thyroid are too high or too low, you may experience a lot of discomfort. Signs and symptoms of high levels of thyroid hormone in the bloodstream (hyperthyroidism) can include nervousness, insomnia, and spontaneous weight loss. You will need to collaborate with your doctor to determine the right amount of medication for you. If you think that your levels are off, you must raise this issue with them.

I am a diabetic patient. I am feeling very sleepy and hungry. I am feeling weak. Is my sugar level increasing or decreasing?
Male | 46
When blood sugar levels sink, the body reacts by asking for energy and makes you feel tired, hungry, and weak. As a remedy, you can have a snack that contains carbohydrates, such as fruit or whole-grain crackers. Your sugar level will increase and you will be in a better mood. Diabetes management and regular eating are preventive measures against the occurrence of this problem in the future.

Testosterone is a hormone that helps with muscle strength, bone density, and sex drive. To boost testosterone, you can try several methods. First, ensure you get enough rest and exercise, as being overweight or inactive can lower testosterone levels. Eating a balanced diet with protein, healthy fats, and plenty of fruits and vegetables also helps. Additionally, maintain a calm state of mind and get enough vitamin D. I am 20 y.o and experiencing hypogonadism symptoms, yet my bloodwork is completely fine. I tested Testosterone total, testosterone free, TSH, LH, FSH, prolactin, estrogen - everything was within ranges. Still though, symptoms are real: erectile dysfunction, low libido, delayed puberty (no genital growth at all, voice is still too high for a man, facial hair is kinda scarce, pubic hair is dark, but chest hair is nonexistent). Ultrasound showed, that my testicles are around 6.5 ml in volume. What could it be, if not hypogonadism? What else would you suggest testing? I'm going to redo my bloodwork in September
Male | 20
With these symptoms, it seems you are battling the hard times. I would like to recommend checking your adrenal glands and thyroid function, which, if imbalances are found, could cause symptoms similar to the one you are having. Besides, a Klinefelter syndrome genetic test may be worth considering. This syndrome is one that men have which comes from the addition of an X chromosome. It is very positive that you are taking the initiative to have your blood work repeated. That's why we can rule out other potential causes of your symptoms.

FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH (Luteinizing hormone) regulate your reproductive system. Increased LH and decreased FSH levels may be the reason for diseases like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or early menopause. Symptoms could be a delay in periods, acquisition of acne, or trouble in pregnancy.
