The chances are you have a cavity. A cavity is when the germs in our mouth are eating sugars and making holes in the teeth. Infection can be the reason for the swollen gums that are next to the tooth. For this: brush your teeth properly, avoid sugary snacks, and visit a dentist for treatment.

Why is there extreme pain in my inner cheek?
Hello Doctor, While eating i accidentally bite my inner cheek and a sore/wound has appeared on the bite site which is causing me an extreme pain and uneasiness, now i cant chew properly due to it,the exact location is on the right lower side adjacent to wisdom teeth . Furthermore my inner cheek are touching or rubbing against the last lower teeth which is also causing a mark on my cheek. Kindly suggest me any appropriate remedy or medication for the above issue. It seems you accidentally bit the inside of your mouth, causing a sore near your wisdom teeth. This can make chewing painful, and your cheek rubbing against the teeth may worsen the irritation. To help, rinse with warm salt water to keep the area clean and reduce swelling. Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen can also ease the discomfort. Avoid spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the sore, and chew slowly to prevent further injury. If the pain persists or you notice signs of infection, such as increased swelling, redness, or pus, see a dentist promptly.

Why do I have an extra tooth affecting my posture and palate growth at 16?
There is an extra tooth(?) next to the upper left molar at the very back, its position is coming out (left)(I don't know whether it is separate from the molar or is part of the molar, but basically the shape is different). I can say that it is not normal because the right side does not have this- Additionally, the shape of the teeth does not conform to standard anatomy because of the growths I mentioned. As for how it bothers me, it makes using correct posture difficult, and also hinders the growth of my palate, it feels stuck. This additional teeth also push the molars inward. I am 16 and have had yhis for years, not sure since when

It’s unlikely, but you may have inherited a condition called "supernumerary teeth," meaning extra teeth. This can be due to genetics and may affect your bite or tooth alignment. An X-ray is the first step, and if necessary, a dentist might remove the extra tooth to prevent misalignment or other issues.

Why is Blood Coming from My Cavity?
Tooth Cavity and now blood from gum is coming out , what should be the solution?
Dr. Ronak Shah
Dentist
Answered on 8th Oct '24
If a tooth is decayed, it is the result of a hole in the tooth formed by bacteria. This can cause the gums to bleed. Look out for signs such as discomfort, sensitivity, and bad breath. If you see blood from your gums, make sure to brush gently twice a day, use mouthwash, and see your dentist to treat the cavity before it gets worse.

You're dealing with a small issue in your mouth called a "cheek bite ulcer." This happens when you accidentally bite the inside of your cheek while chewing. The sore can be painful and may make chewing difficult. To ease the discomfort, you can use over-the-counter pain relief gels or creams made for mouth sores, which help numb the pain and protect the sore while it heals. It's also a good idea to avoid spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the sore further. Drinking cool liquids and eating soft foods will give your cheek a break, helping it heal faster. These sores usually go away on their own within a week or two, but if the pain worsens or doesn't improve, it's a good idea to consult a dentist.

You might be talking about temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ). Such a scenario can occur when the joint that attaches your jawbone to the skull gets stressed out. Among the symptoms are pain, pressure, and trouble opening your mouth. Teeth grinding, jaw clenching, or arthritis are the causes. To help, start with ice packs, keep a soft diet, exercise your jaw, and take care of the stress you experience.

Your son might have a condition called misaligned teeth. Such a misalignment can result in teeth being positioned incorrectly and thus do not fit together properly. This can be either of the two: inherited from parents or habits like thumb-sucking. Misaligned teeth can cause problems with both eating and speaking. Visit a dentist with your child. They can recommend treatments such as braces to deal with the issue.

Teeth suffering from infection with consequent pain may also exhibit swelling, redness, and bad taste in the mouth. This is induced due to the bacteria that invade the cavities or can slip through a fractured tooth. To control the pain, rinse your mouth with warm salt water and take over-the-counter pain relievers before you help your doctor. Properly, you should see a dentist to treat the infection. It would be best if you brush and floss regularly to prevent future infections.
