A sore throat with sharp pain can happen for many reasons. Viral issues like the flu or a cold. Bacterial infections like strep throat. Or even allergies could cause it. Drink lots of fluids and rest. Try lozenges to ease throat discomfort. If pain continues or worsens, see an ENT doctor right away. They'll check to find out what's causing your sore throat.

Tonsil stones are small items in your throat. They are made of food, mucus, and bacteria. You might have bad breath, a sore throat, or trouble swallowing. Gargle with warm salt water to remove them. Also, drink lots of water. Keep your mouth clean. This can stop tonsil stones from forming.

Maybe your nasal symptoms suggest chronic rhinosinusitis. Thick, dark reddish-brown mucus can flow uncontrollably, often worse at night. Inflamed sinuses likely cause this issue. Saline sprays may provide relief. Consulting an ENT doctor helps evaluate and treat the underlying problem.

If you notice blood leaking from your ear without pain or swelling, it could be due to various reasons like a minor injury or a rupture in the ear drum. It's important to consult an ENT specialist for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Swell in your neck, dizziness, sweat, cough, sore throat, and headache are conditions that an infection can lead to. Infections might have caused these symptoms in such situations. It's paramount to go and see an ENT specialist so they can tell what's happening and what treatment suits you. These signs should not be ignored, they might be the first symptoms of a more severe condition whose treatment should be done quickly.

You are suffering from pain in the right ear. According to your explanation, it is clear that the medications you have used so far have been ineffective. Ear pain can be classified by several causes such as ear infection or inflammation. Since the pain doesn't go away with the use of your medications, you must seek the advice of an ENT specialist for the right diagnosis and treatment.

Please don't start medications without a thorough evaluation by an ENT as not all blocked nose throat pain and cough are the same. For temporary relief, steam inhalation and warm fluid sips will help.

Please continue on the steroids as they are the only way to provide some stimulus to the hearing nerve in this situation. There are other medications that can be given to increase blood supply to the nerve but the best chance of nerve recovery is within the first one or two days after which the chances are unpredictable and low in most cases. Please take a follow up consult your ENT surgeon as they will keep a close watch on improvement in the nerve which usually isn't something you will be able to perceive by yourself. You need to have repeat hearing testings to watch for improvement. In all cases, do not stop the steroid abruptly!

Please get the hearing evaluation and speech evaluation done by an ENT and development evaluation by a paediatrician to proceed assessment of the child. This must be managed as early as possible as all forms of rehabilitation work best when the child is younger ideally under 4 years of age. Please do not delay management.

Throat with ear pain persistent despite antibiotics can mean a few things. Non responsiveness to antibiotics could mean resistance, you could have a different issue than an infection that's causing pain. Please visit your local ENT for detailed evaluation and diagnosis.

Any pill lodged in the throat will start to dissolve, so rest assured it will not stay stuck for long. You can try eating bananas or fat rich foods that can slide the pill down if it has gotten attached to any part of the throat. It is less likely to cause any major problems. If the sensation persists beyond one day, please visit your ent for a video endoscopic evaluation

If you have yellow mucus for more than 7 days and it doesn't get better with medication, it's likely a sinus infection. You might feel lousy, with headaches or facial pressure too. To help clear it up, try using a humidifier, drink plenty of water, and use a saline nasal spray. But if it persists or worsens, see an ENT specialist

These could be signs of swimmer's ear. This ear issue happens when water gets stuck inside the ear canal. The trapped water can make the ear feel dry, itchy, and irritated. You may even notice a liquid or bloody discharge coming from your ear. Don't worry, dealing with a swimmer's ear is simple. Keep your ears dry by using ear plugs or a swim cap when swimming. Avoid putting things like cotton swabs or fingers inside your ear canal. Use an ear cleaning solution made for sensitive ears. Gently rinse out the ear canal with the solution as directed. If problems continue after a few days, visit a doctor. An ENT specialist can examine your ear and prescribe treatment.

You might have allergic rhinitis. That's a fancy phrase for nose allergies. Your body reacts to stuff like pollen, pet hair, and dust mites. To ease symptoms, use a room humidifier for moisture. Drink lots of water too. Saline nose sprays can relieve dryness. If home remedies don't work, see an allergy doctor. They'll help find the cause and treatment for you.
