I was wondering if I might have something such as DID, as I have been experiencing some symptoms. 1: I have auditory hallucinatons from time to time, like people talking, or whispering my name. 2: I cannot remeber most of my childhood at all. 3: I also talk to myself a lot, like I am a different person. 4: I have visual hallucinations sometimes, like shadows in the corner of my eye 5: Also have trouble focusing sometimes 6: very impulsive sometimes 7: I also daydream alot, and usually for 30 minutes + I and my sister was verbally abused from 2016 to 2022. It stopped in 2022 because I pointed it out. My ‘alters’ aren’t so complicated they are just different aspects of myself really. Most of the time to the extreme though. Like one is me but angry, sad, etc. Once I had a bit of a dissociative fugue, when I kind of just fazed out on the bus and I came to, on the bus but at a different point in the road, and I had no memory of what had happened.
Male | 18
Based on the symptoms, your problem may be Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). Consulting with an experienced psychiatrist or clinical psychologist, especially in the field of DID, is crucial in diagnosing and planning personalized treatment.

Female | 44
Being nervous and not being able to sleep are usual symptoms of stress among other things like migraines especially after a divorce. By the way, Stilpain should help ease the pain but it would be better if you could see a psychiatrist soon to discuss everything with them. They may be able to give some advice on how best to deal with such situations.

I am 18 years old Girl and once i experience panik attack I don't know exactly it is but i go through some struggle like loosing my favourite pet. at that time suddenly my vission become Black out and my hands and leg shivering also i can,t breath and i feel very uncomfortable and suffocating i can,t stand i feel like my brain is numbing....
Female | 18
During a panic attack, you might feel as if you cannot breathe, have a racing heart, and feel shaky or dizzy. Your body can be in “fight or flight” mode when there is no real danger. You should do breathing exercises or other things that help you relax so these feelings don’t get too intense. Talk with someone you trust and consider talking to a counselor or therapist for more support if necessary.

What drs would prescribe tramadol 50mg 2/ day and klonopin 2/day long term in Nc?
Female | 60
Tramadol helps moderate pain. Klonopin helps anxiety. Doctors prescribe these medicines when other treatments fail. You may need them long term if you have chronic pain or anxiety. However, these medicines can become addictive. So, take them precisely as your doctor instructs. Be certain to discuss any worries with your doctor.

dr . i use risperidone now i stopped it. after risperidone i use tryptophan and tyrosine supplements but problem is my serotonin and dopamine level not increase it decrease my neurotransmitter level .this problem come i use risperidone haloperidol drugs. i use herbal (mucuna pruriens ,5htp) and amino acid supplements for neurotransmitter it same my serotonin dopamine level decreased. dr why it happened ?how to it cure. ?
Male | 23
Addressing issues related to neurotransmitter levels requires consultation with a psychiatrist or neurologist. Discontinuing medications such as risperidone and haloperidol can lead to a drop in serotonin and dopamine levels. Additionally, the use of supplements like tryptophan, tyrosine, 5-HTP, and mucuna pruriens may also affect neurotransmitter levels. It's essential to consult a specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment of any potential imbalances beforehand.

I get fainting and I have so many negative thoughts and it's change my behaviour and I suffer lot
Female | 18
Your drooping spirits and the negatives in your thinking have the consequence of your behavior. Various causes of these signs are found hence people having been under a lot of stress or anxiety experience the same feeling. When you go through the emotions focus on the end of this exercise: slow breathing and calming of the soul. Besides, communicating with your close friends or even family members can be helpful. You can also recognize that it's important to ask for help when needed.

I have never known what am suffering from. symptoms, over sweating, anxiety disorders, trembling in public due to anxiety, panic I feel like doing something but I think of what people will talk about me, poor memory, sometimes I find my self feeling like swallowing saliva repeatedly, sometimes joint pain I don't even believe in my self And others I fail to identify
Male | 21
What you describe seems like an anxiety disorder. When people find themselves in a state of panic, their bodies can respond in a variety of ways. Symptoms can make you a little self-conscious about your colleagues' opinions, thus impairing your memory and possibly leading to pain in your joints. Listening to relaxation techniques, adding exercise to your routine, and talking with a psychiatrist might help. Anyway, you should know that you are not the only one who experiences this and there are ways to get better.

Can I stop 50 mg zoloft cold turkey after 6 days of use?
Female | 25
Taking a 50mg Zoloft dose abruptly for 6 days without medical advice is not the right thing to do. The abrupt termination of this medicine can produce withdrawal of the symptoms and may affect your undesirable mental health. A psychiatrist or a mental health professional would counsel reducing the medicine very slowly and supervising you closely.

It's your brain's way of dealing with too much strain. But don't worry – some things help. Take deep breaths. Try yoga poses or go for walks. Talk with friends or family you can trust. See a psychiatrist if symptoms linger.

I am using inderal 10mg twice and escitalophram 10 mg daily for anxiety from last 1 year.. Now i am good last time doctor said that we will reduce yout dose and then gradually quit this medication. Now iam far away from city and cannot go there kindly suggest me how to reduce dose
Male | 22
I advise against abruptly discontinuing any medication without consulting your doctor, especially when managing anxiety. Abruptly stopping drugs such as Inderal and Escitalopram can lead to serious withdrawal symptoms. It is preferable to seek guidance from a psychiatrist or mental health specialist for a proper tapering schedule to minimize potential adverse effects. It's crucial to follow your doctor's instructions and regularly update them about your condition.

Female | 17
You might be dealing with "earworms," which is when a song gets stuck in your head. This can happen due to stress, fatigue, or simply hearing the song too often. To manage it, try switching to a different activity, listening to another song, or talking to a counselor to handle stress. Remember to take breaks from work and enjoy some downtime.

Feeling too sleepy but still not getting sleep
Female | 27
This happens when you're anxious or stressed. Irregular habits play a role too. Caffeine and screen time before bed don't help either. Try a calming routine - read, take a warm bath. Avoid caffeine, screens close to bedtime. Keep a consistent sleep schedule. If it persists, talk to a therapist or counsellor.

Male | 26
You may have a gag reflex. This happens when your body is more sensitive to certain things you see, smell, or taste. It isn’t usually serious but it can be unpleasant. Try to steer clear of anything that makes you feel like this. If it won’t go away and bothers you, too, it might help to speak with a doctor about how to handle it.

I am 31 year old living alone abroad. I am working here and going through a phase of getting married. I have had previous short term relationships. My fiance is living in India and will be moving with me after marriage. The biggest struggle these days is getting flashbacks of the good days from previous relationships and not liking many things of my Fiance. Since the recent past, I'm having multiple panic attacks and want to cry (somehow not able to cry). Also, I am getting suicidal thoughts which was never the case before. Sometimes I also imagine completely disappearing and start a life somewhere with new Identity and losing all the contacts with family and friends.

Social anxiety causes extreme discomfort in social situations such as communicating with people or being in a mass of people. It is attributed to both genetic and environmental factors. These conversations help cut down these fears. This is an indication that everyone is involved and seeking help. Please visit a psychiatrist so they can counsel you about how to manage this.

The first severe outburst occurred in August 1st week. During these episodes, he becomes violent, attacking those closest to him, including his parents and brother. His speech is characterized by accusations of being "bad" and claims of conspiracy against him. After the outbursts, he displays remorseful behavior, crying and showing guilt. Physical attacks are severe and pose a risk of harm to himself or others. He also exhibits unusual behaviors such as spitting on objects and people, and attempting to lick them. Patient's history reveals: * Early childhood difficulties with keeping up in school * Competition with younger brother (2 years his junior) * Possible neglect or feeling neglected by parents due to favoritism towards the younger sibling * Lack of friends at school * Issues with making eye contact, paying attention, and lack of confidence Before the first outburst, he showed signs of: * Avoiding eye contact * Difficulty paying attention * Lack of confidence in performing or speaking when prompted The patient is currently under neurologist care after the initial outburst. Despite multiple episodes, we were unable to identify triggers or deescalate outbursts without using restraint. ----- the child is currently staying in prayagraj at his home. we wanted to bring him for a physical visit but his condition get uncontrollable very quickly . we were hoping that based on the summary if you can prescribe any medicine or suggest some with which can get him to state at which we could be able to bring him from prayagraj to lucknow for a physical. his condition is very serious and its getting worse. please contact as soon as possible

This is a tough situation with the 14-year-old child you're dealing with. It appears he is suffering from aggressive behavior, outbursts, and a lack of control over his emotions. These symptoms can be caused by various reasons, including emotional distress, underlying mental health issues, or neurological conditions. As he is already seeing a neurologist, it is crucial to maintain communication with the healthcare team to assess and treat the condition properly. Medications may be given to him to help regulate his mood and behavior.

Hello i had a panic attack yesterday and my hands and feet were going numb also my mouth so i went to the ER they did 2 syringes in my stomach of Aqua then they did one behind of diazepam i am a regular smoker and i wanted to smoke could i? If i cant should i buy a no nicotine pack?
Female | 16
The numbness of hands, feet, and mouth is the result of decreased blood flow in panic attacks. The effect of smoking on the body can make people suffer from panic attacks. Given the fact that you were prescribed diazepam at the ER, smoking might hurt it. Stay away from smoking as it is better for you. If you are in bad shape and have to, you can try a no-nicotine pack.
