Hair fall in teen age almost more than 50% hair vanished from scalp. I have also genetic hair loss what should I do to prevent it.
Answered on 25th Sept '24
Androgenetic alopecia, or genetic hair loss, can start as early as the teenage years. Key signs include excessive hair fall and a widening part. This happens because hair follicles shrink over time. To slow down hair loss and promote regrowth, you can use treatments like minoxidil (Rogaine) or finasteride (Propecia). Additionally, it's important to maintain a well-balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals essential for hair health.

if I have top surgery without T can I develop pecs if I hit the gym a lot?
Answered on 29th July '24
If you don't take testosterone or undergo top surgery, you can still build your pecs by lifting weights. Pecs, short for pectoral muscles, can grow with exercises like chest presses and push-ups, which target these muscles. Pace yourself, use the correct form, and be consistent with your workouts. Your pecs can still develop even without testosterone.

Hormones and surgery are the only ways of growing breasts safely. The appearance of women's breasts in some regions is partly dependent on hormones during puberty and pregnancy. I'm 18 and just had a septoplasty surgery two days ago and I'm struggling to manage the pain but I also have some questions about the splints placed inside my nose
Answered on 8th July '24
It is common to have pain following septoplasty. The splints inside your nose are meant to support the healing process. Due to them, you might feel discomfort, pressure, or blocked-up sensation but do not try touching or removing them all the same. Follow the doctor’s advice for managing the pain and keeping the nose clean. In case of any concerns, do not hesitate to contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Hi, my chest are diff size
Answered on 8th July '24
It is not rare that individuals have somewhat unequal sizes of the chest. Sometimes, it may be more prominent but, doesn't bother people much; if anything, clothing usually hides this fact well enough. If there is no pain or other symptoms then there’s probably nothing to worry about either–the most important thing is how you feel. If an increase in size comes with pain, shortness of breath or a feeling of something being wrong then visit a doctor for some advice.

I've had multiple implants and implants removal surgeries, after the surgeries, I am sweating a lot, I request (only if possible) my medications be some kind of tablets
Answered on 11th July '24
In most cases, post-implant surgeries include sweat because of healing. This kind of sweat is indicative of steps taken by the body to get rid of additional heat. If you feel sweaty, it means that there is a process happening which is normal for a person having anxiety or activity. Drinking water and wearing light clothes may help, however, it is better to keep cool and stay hydrated. If after all these you still face excessive sweating, please let your plastic surgeon know.

I'm a 56 year old transgender female and I was taking hormones but had to stop because I just couldn't afford them anymore. I want to take the Opill birth control because of the progestin in it to help increase my breast size even though it will take time. My question to you is will taking the Opill birth control hurt me if I take it long term or will I be fine.

Starting the Opill birth control for breast enlargement can be risky. Use of birth control pills for a long time can cause problems such as high chances of blood clots, weight change, and emotional state. The hormone progestin in the pill can affect my levels of hormones. There are also claims that birth control pills made of progestin can affect the production of hormones. Consult your healthcare provider to make a safe decision and avoid risking negative consequences.

I was born with a very thick face and chin and have had it all my life despite never being overweight and living a healthy life. Now I'm 16 years old and have a slimmer face and chin, but I'm still quite fat in those places. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me what causes this and if there is any effective way to remove it. I can also add that I was late into puberty with growth.

Puberty after the age of sixteen combined with an insult to your hormones can cause fat to be collected in the body and face. Apart from this, a plastic surgeon might also inform the patient about options for losing weight in the targeted areas, however, before getting any such procedure it has to be ascertained that he or she doesn't have any underlying medical conditions.

I am looking for Tummy Tuck surgery for myself , I would like to know how much tentative expense require for this .
Answered on 23rd May '24
The price of a tummy tuck procedure can be influenced by other factors such as surgeon’s fees, facility charge, anesthesia and location. Tummy tuck costs can average from a few thousand up to several thousand dollars. First of all, it is very important to discuss your individual goals with the board-certified plastic surgeons and get personal quotes during consultations. You should keep in mind that aspects like the difficulty of the treatment and any extra services needed determine costs.
Asked for Female, 46
Hi. I am 46 years old mother of 2 children aged 13 and 4yrs. In September 2021 I got liposuction and tummy tuck done. After 6 weeks of wearing the prescribed compression garments and daily massages post surgery, I started noticing big, hard eruptions on my stomach area. Some are red and some are very painful. The doctor punctured one of the eruptions to see if any fluid came out but it did not. He then ask me to use Tbac and put me on anti inflammatory medicine+ flexon. Then one day from the eruption i noticed a pus like fluid. Went to the doctor again. A pus culture was done. No bacteria found. Doctor said looks like it is a suture issue with my body not being able to get rid of the dissolvable stitches. He gave me tricort injections on the hard lumps. Now almost 3 weeks later, some are better but new large and painful ones have also formed. Please advise your thoughts on this and what you feel could be wrong. I am very worried.
Answered on 23rd May '24
It is essential to consult with your surgeon or get a second option from another qualified health provider. Ongoing difficulties after surgery should be investigated carefully and may require imaging studies to evaluate the situation. All suture-related concerns, infections, or any other complications should be ruled out.

It’s usually recommended not to sleep on your side for the first few weeks after rhinoplasty. The reason for this is to prevent accidental pressure or movement that can affect the healing nasal structures. It is crucial to follow your surgeon’s set of postoperative care instructions as recovery times for individuals vary. Normally after the first weeks, you can slowly switch to sleeping on your side with consent of the surgeon.
