I recently had my gallbladder removed and have been experiencing digestive issues. What kind of diet should I follow to manage these symptoms?
Male | 37
Even after gallbladder surgery, diarrhea, bloating, or gas is a common problem. This happens because the gallbladder is one of the key players in the digestion of fats and without it, the body struggles with the digestion of fatty foods. Eating a low-fat diet is one way to lessen these symptoms. Try consuming more fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains. Avoid greasy, fried, and spicy foods as they can cause discomfort. Eating small, frequent meals throughout the day can also help. Your body might need some time to get used to the new condition, so have patience and monitor how it reacts to different foods.

Hello Doctor, 2 calculi of size12.4mm and 7.3mm have been noted in gal bladder one in fundus and other in neck respectively in ultrasound. I am having issue of pain in abdomen and back and nausea and headache. After the results of ultrasound what will be further treatment required. And also want to know if still endoscopy is required after detection in ultrasound?
Female | 33
Based on the ultrasound results, it seems that you have gallstones in your gallbladder, which is causing abdominal and back pain, nausea, and headache. And endoscopy is not required to diagnose or treat gallstones. But in some cases, an endoscopic ultrasound is used to get a better view of the gallbladder and surrounding structures. I recommend consulting with a gastroenterologist or a surgeon for further evaluation and treatment options.

25 year old female last night I started experiencing sharp pain on the lower right side of my stomach near pelvic area that radiates down to my hip and leg and now I'm also feeling nausea
Female | 25
You might be dealing with appendicitis. This is the case when a small part of your belly, known as the appendix, gets enlarged and causes severe pain. The pain might be displaced to your hip and leg. Nausea is a typical symptom as well. You must visit a gastroenterologist. The surgical method is warranted in a majority of cases to get rid of the inflamed appendix and help you be in a good state of health again.

Good day I am a 31 year old and I have been experiencing burning sensation in my stomach for the past 2 weeks
Female | 31
Acid reflux is a condition that might be the reason because it is characterized by the backflow of stomach acids into your food pipe. This can happen if you eat spicy or fatty foods, or lay down soon after eating. To distract yourself, try the meals fatter, spicy foods, and no lying down right after eating. Besides, you need to be hydrated and if the burning continues then you better get guidance from a gastroenterologist.

I have a friend who just experienced sharp liver pain since 24/4, he says it’s from consuming sparkling water and he doesn’t want to seek medical attention. He’s now on a “liver diet” where he doesn’t eat anything processed because he ate a pizza thinking the pain is gone and it started hurting more. He’s also water fasting. He says the pain comes and goes and it eventually started hurting in his right side. What can he do? He doesn’t want any medical treatment. He is 22.
Male | 22
These signs may point to digestive trouble or liver issues. He should stop fasting and avoid the "liver diet." Instead, he needs to consume simple, nutritious foods and drink lots of water. Urge him to pay attention to his body's signals. If pain continues or gets worse, he must consult a gastroenterologist.

Is pain in left rib cage is serious UTI symptom?
Male | 16
This pain is likely not from a urinary tract infection. UTIs usually cause problems like peeing often, burning when you pee, and cloudy pee. Left rib pain can come from other causes like strained muscles or swelling. If the pain sticks around or gets worse, it's a good idea to see a doctor. They can find out what's causing the pain and give you the right treatment.

Female | 45
Typhoid causes high fever, weakness, stomach pain, and poor appetite. It comes from the bacteria, Salmonella typhi. Even though the fever's gone, you must finish antibiotics. This gets rid of bacteria fully and stops it from returning. So take medicine exactly as the doctor said.

Female | 24
Blood stool might be a sign of different disorders, one of which is a sensitive stomach or irritation from Novacip-TZ. Sometimes, this medicine may cause your stomach to have problems and your anus to become irritated. Drink a lot of water, eat fiber-rich foods, and do not eat spicy or fatty foods. If the symptoms continue, it's better to contact your gastroenterologist for more advice.

Feeling bloated after eating can happen sometimes. It might mean you ate too fast or didn't chew enough. Maybe certain foods upset your stomach. Female | 21
Your symptoms of vomiting, pain around the belly button, trapped burps, and yellowness may be related to a condition called gastritis. Eating smaller meals, avoiding spicy foods, and taking antacids can help relieve the discomfort. If your symptoms continue, it's important to consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment.

I have had constant acid reflux for going on 2 years, every day - all day. I have taken ppi and other remedies but nothing seems to work and no doctor seems to take this serious. I need this to go away for good if possible. I honestly am so miserable, I can hardly eat or drink.
Male | 23
For chronic acid reflux that didn't respond to any treatment, it's important to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation. They can recommend different medications and lifestyle modifications. If necessary, additional tests may be conducted to identify underlying factors. You may also try seeking a second opinion from a specialist..

I (Age 22, male) eat junk food(a sandwich or a roll) every Wednesday. I also eat puri sagu (south indian food - about 7 in quantity) every Sunday. It is not exactly junk food. Is this a bad habit? Should I reduce it? Or is it not a problem?
Male | 22
You're wise to think about eating habits. Weekly sandwiches and rolls aren't ideal. Too much junk food causes weight gain, high cholesterol, and heart issues. Balance meals with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Swap some junk food for healthier choices.

Ill-defined enhancing space occupying lesion approximately measuring 47 x 32 x 30 mm seen epicentered in the lumen of mid transverse colon. Mild fat stranding and subcentimetric lymph nodes are seen around the lesion. There is resultant dilatation of proximal large bowel loops and small bowel loops, measuring up to 6 cm in maximum calibre.
Female | 51
It seems like there is a worrying growth in your mid colon area. This growth is making the area swell up and push on your intestines. This can make them get bigger. It can also cause pain, bloating, and changes in how you poop. The best thing to do is to get more tests done. These tests will help figure out what is causing the growth. Then the right treatment can be decided.
