You are going through the swelling problem of your hands and feet after taking medication for blood level maintenance. This might be a consequence of some drugs. The limb swelling and the discomfort you are feeling might indicate a fluid retention issue. Your doctor should adjust your treatment plan to ensure that your blood levels are good and you do not have these side effects. Talk to your gastroenterologist about all your symptoms so that they can make the most appropriate choices for your health.

Female 50 years old Ogun state Sango Ota Yesterday I was having continous stomach pain accompany with back pain Today I'm no longer feeling the back pain but I'm still having stomachs Pain and anytime I go to the toilet to urinate I pass some fluids from my anus like a watery faeces. The fluid is hot.And I'm coughs a little bit Doctor please what is wrong with me?
Female | 50
You may have a tummy bug, or gastroenteritis, which makes you feel sick. It can cause a tummy ache, a thin watery bowel movement, and even a cough sometimes. The hot liquid coming from your anus is most probably diarrhea. This can happen when your stomach and intestines get irritability, usually, because of viral infections like norovirus. Staying hydrated with water or oral rehydration solutions and getting enough rest are vital. Eating light foods like bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast might settle your stomach. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's best to consult a gastroenterologist.

If my gallbladder is already removed can I have a baby and how long does it take for me to get my prieod please
Female | 36
This should not pose a problem when trying to conceive after gallbladder removal. In terms of your menstrual cycle, recovery time is different for all and can take a few weeks to several months. If you want to know more about this, see an obstetrician/gynecologist.

Good morning sir पेट में बहुत ज्यादा गैस बन रहा है तो तत्काल उपचार क्या करे ,और पेट में दर्द भी है
Male | 22
A lot of gas in the belly can make you feel bad. Gas can cause pain, bloating, and burping. Eating too fast, chewing gum, or fizzy drinks can lead to gas. Try eating slowly, no fizzy drinks, and walk after meals to ease gas. If the pain does not stop, it is best to ask a gastroenterologist.

You may be having a urinary tract infection (UTI) or kidney infection. These make you pee often but little pee comes out. They also cause pain in your lower right belly, dizziness, weakness, and low back pain. It is very important to drink lots of water and see a urologist.

I HAVE BLOODY POOP PROBLEM SINCE 2 DAYS
Male | 19
Many reasons may cause bloody poop. A tear in the rectum or hemorrhoids are possible causes. Infections and inflammation in the intestines could also be the reason. Drink lots of fluids and eat fiber-rich, healthy foods. If it persists, visit a gastroenterologist to determine the exact reason.

During intermittent fasting i have diarrhoea what should I eat when i break the fast
Male | 21
Ah, seems diarrhea has interrupted your intermittent fasting schedule. Diarrhea is frequent bowel movements, often caused by fasting's effects on digestion. When ending your fast, opt for gentle foods like bananas, plain rice, or toast. These soothe the stomach. Hydrate extensively with lots of water. If diarrhea persists, seek medical advice.

I am constipated from few weeks and today I vomit and feeling nausea and headache. What is the treatment
Female | 24
You may suffer from fecal impaction. It makes you constipated, vomiting, nauseated, with headaches. Fecal impaction is hard stool stuck in the colon. Drink lots of water, eat fiber-rich foods, and try OTC laxatives. If the condition doesn't improve, see a gastroenterologist for stronger treatment.

I AM 45 YEARS OLD MALE ABHAY I ASKED MY ABDOMINAL DISORDER LIKE I SUFFERED FOR THIS DESEASE AT 15 YEARS REGULARLY THIS DISORDER I FEEL SIGN AND SYMPTOMS JUST CONSTIPATION LOOSE MOTION STOMACH PAIN STOOL PASSED WITH MUCOUS etc
Male | 46
You have been under the weather for a long time. The symptoms you mentioned (such as constipation, loose motions, stomach pain, and passing stool with mucus) are typical of irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease. These can be caused by a combination of diet, stress, and gut health. The first step is visiting a gastroenterologist who will determine if you have any of these diseases as well as a proper course of action for you. At the same time, making lifestyle choices, coping with stress, and consuming a balanced diet can also reduce the severity of your symptoms.

I’ve had constipation for six months and I have been using dulcolax every week to help, however this week when I used my dose, I felt nauseous and didn’t feel my normal budge in stool. I suspect I have impacted stool or some sort of blockage. I tried 2 enemas however after using them (lying on my left, inserting it for 5 minutes and staying still) it didn’t work. My main question is If I’m having impacted stool should I take miralax powder , dulcolax pills, or suppositaries, or a third enema Or book a colonic treatment? thank you
Male | 17
If you feel sick after taking Dulcolax you may need to try a different method. When stool is impacted it means that the poo has become stuck and will not come out very easily. Use Miralax powder which can help to soften it. You can mix it with a drink and take it according to the instructions on the packet. Make sure you also drink lots of water. If there is no change when using Miralax then you should speak to a healthcare professional for further advice.

Having extremely gas and constipation/diarrhea from last 4 years...brown thin stool, mucus , and a few times blood verry less. Main problem is extreme gas
Male | 22
Persistent gas pain and irregular bowel movements should be checked out. If you notice mucus tinged with red during bathroom trips, it could signal a more serious issue. Inflammation and bacterial infections can disrupt your gut health. Don’t ignore these symptoms—consult a gastroenterologist to identify the problem and find a solution.

Ulcer with blood stool problem. 1month problem
Male | 32
If you see blood in your stools, you should act quickly. Ulcers are characterized by stomach pain, bloating, and nausea. They are mostly the ulcers that are the result of a bacteria named H. pylori or abuse of painkillers. Prescription drugs may additionally be recommended for pain relief or even anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen or Aspirin which are available to a doctor's prescription.

Female | 20
These symptoms could be caused by things like a urinary tract infection or kidney stones. It's important to drink lots of water and avoid products that could irritate your stomach. Getting some rest and applying a heating pad to the area can also help. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's a good idea to see a gastroenterologist for the right advice.

According to the signs you’ve mentioned, it seems that you might’ve overdosed on some drugs particularly paracetamol which can harm the liver. The weight loss along with persistent symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, and fatigue is worrying. You should see a hepatologist immediately so that your liver function can be checked.

Hello. I am 23 years old and I've had heartburn for more than 3 years. Last year in April I took Dexilant 60mg for about 2 weeks and my symptoms were gone for about 2 months. However, the symptoms started coming back after that and I've been having heartburn almost every day since then. I've occasionally been using Pepcid Complete for my symptoms but I know that this isn't a permanent solution. So can you please tell me when I should be worried about heartburn and what kind of treatments are there for heartburn?
Male | 23
Seek medical attention as it could indicate an underlying issue like GERD. It can be treated with lifestyle changes, over the counter medications (antacids and H2 blockers), and prescription medications. Untreated heartburn can lead to complications, so don't delay seeking help. Consult with a gastroenterologist.

Female | 19
Being cramps, constipation, blood in the stool, mucus in the stool, low-grade fever, fatigue, and funny sounds in your abdomen are all signs that could indicate a problem in your stomach. If you're not feeling well, you should think about infections, inflammation, and probably allergies as the causes of the pain. We need to pay attention to our nutritional intake, drink water regularly, see a specialist for a full check-up, and, get the proper treatment for diseases.

I have ast/alt ratio of 1.77 but the time my blood was examined I was drunken much. Can you guide me its still same even I am drunk or not. It was ast 339 and alt 191. Kindly help
Male | 43
The report based on an AST/ALT ratio test result shows a liver enzyme ratio of 1.77 units which is slightly higher than normal and indicates the presence of possible factors e.g. liver damage, drinking alcohol, taking certain drugs. Elevated AST and ALT levels may alert the liver damage. You can ascertain the precise state of your liver by retesting your blood after you get sober and getting the necessary advice from a hepatologist.

I have been suffering from digestive issues and stomach disorders for about a month. I feel like it takes long for my stomach to digest food. I feel hungry but I can't eat because of this issue. If I do, I'll get acid reflux and other symptoms.
Male | 20
Gastritis makes the stomach lining inflamed. Slow digestion, lack of appetite, and acid reflux occur. Stress, spicy foods, and medications cause it. Eat small meals frequently. Avoid caffeine and alcohol. Stay hydrated. Manage stress through breathing or meditation. See a gastroenterologist if symptoms don't improve.
