After iui procedure, bleeding continuously 3 days.
Social Obstetrics And Gynecologist
Answered on 11th Sept '24
Post IUI, you might experience minor spotting for a couple of days. But, be watchful if it persists beyond 3 days. Continual bleeding could indicate cervical irritation or implantation bleeding. Take it easy, and avoid strenuous activities. However, if the bleeding intensifies or you experience severe pain, promptly consult your gynecologist for advice.

Thank you Doctor , I visited as per your advice . Now it's diagnosed that I have low lying placenta( placenta previa)reaching the os- CRL approx 5.25cm. Is this good or bad ? ( my gynaecologist didn't explain me that well, I tried searching in youtube/ google but almost all were unsatisfactory ). ( by the way I'm 39 years, this is my third pregnancy ,previous deliveries were cesarean. I got pregnant this time with iud due to that I was slightly bleeding for 18 days with mild abdominal pain with small blood clot ,luckily the iud was removed)
Female | 39
Having a placenta positioned low, close to the cervix, with a CRL of 5.25cm, presents potential risks like bleeding. Considering your third pregnancy and previous cesarean deliveries, close monitoring by your gynecologist is crucial. Avoid strenuous activities or heavy lifting. In severe cases, bed rest may be recommended by your doctor.

I am 28 years old and currently experiencing a fungal issue. I have already consulted a dermatologist and have been using prescribed medications and creams, but unfortunately, they have not been effective. Could a gynecologist also examine and provide insights on this skin problem?"
Female | 28
Yes, a gynecologist can certainly provide insights and examine your fungal skin issue, especially if the problem is located in the genital area or is possibly related to hormonal changes.

I have a weird feeling in my vagina. I feel a burning sensation in the vagina, pain in the clitoris, and also constant tingling. I feel pain inside my legs, extending from the vagina to the buttocks, and my left leg specifically. This started when I was on my period and my pads used to get accidentally inside my vagina and I am afraid it might hurted the nerves. I took cafixime cause I thought it is bacterial vaginitis. I had this for like one week and then it went away for a week and came back again. After healing I rode a bicycle twice but for just few seconds. I also showered and some soup got into my vagina so I am afraid I damaged some nerves after it was healed. Finally, I had Two weird dreams. I dreamt that I am taking an exam and suddenly I felt Contractions in my vagina and woke up. It was very weird and uncomfortable and it happened twice. I am constantly not comfortable weather if I am sitting or lying in bed so it’s very distracting, and painful sometimes. I want to know what do I have?
Female | 20
It sounds like you're experiencing quite a lot of discomfort. Burning sensation, pain in the clitoris, tingling, and pain extending from the vagina to the buttocks and leg could be signs of various conditions. Given your symptoms, it is important to consult a gynecologist. They can conduct a proper examination and determine if it's related to nerve damage, an infection, or another condition. Please visit a gynecologist to get an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

I am 24 yrs old. I missed my period I want to know I am pregnant or not.
Female | 24
It is natural to have anxiety regarding a missed period and pregnancy is not the only reason for this. Other factors may include stress, rapid weight loss or gain and hormonal imbalance among others. Also, if you have been more tired than usual lately, feeling nauseated frequently or having sudden changes in your breasts’ tenderness level then these could be early symptoms of being pregnant as well. To confirm whether or not you are indeed expecting a baby at home pregnancy test should be taken without delay.

Male | 27
You have been having discomfort in your right side for the last half-year. Pain in the right area might be due to muscle overstrain, digestion problems, or malfunctioning organs. You should see a gynecologist to find out the real reason for it and get proper treatment, as dealing with pain is quite important.

Hello Doctor I have missed by periods for one month and pregnancy test is negative so I have visited a Dr near my be so he gave me medroxyprosterone tablet to consume for 5 days after breakfast lunch and dinner and I will get my periods in 3 days it has been 7 days I haven't got my periods
Female | 22
Missing periods can be anxiety-provoking, but it can be the result of a variety of reasons. Stress, sudden gain or loss of weight, and hormonal imbalances are some common reasons. Medroxyprogesterone is effective in helping your period, but it may take some people longer than others. If you don't get your period after a few more days, go back to your gynecologist to discuss further steps.

Hi! Me and my girlfriend were having sex while wearing only our underwears. There's a chance (I don't actually remember it much) that I may have taken out for a small period my underwear. We weren't using any contraceptives, and she was on her fertile period. She has taken the morning after pill 17 hours later. Is there something to worry about?
Male | 22
Taking the morning after pill within 17 hours of intercourse can be effective in preventing pregnancy.. but its effectiveness tends to decrease the longer you wait. Consult a gynecologist to confirm

My scan report show right ovary normal Bladder normal Left ovary seen dominant folicule 15mm Et 5 In 5th day of period It's normal or not . please tell me We are trying for second baby
Female | 30
It's great to hear that your right ovary and bladder are normal. A 15 mm follicle in your left ovary on the 5th day of your period is also a normal sign, indicating that your body is preparing for ovulation. The ET value of 5 is within the normal range for this stage of your cycle. All of these findings suggest that you are likely ovulating, which is important for conception. Be sure to track your ovulation and consult your gynecologist with any concerns.

My tubectomy was done three years ago. Do I still have to use contraceptive methods?
Female | 45
A tubectomy is a permanent type of birth control that obstructs the fallopian tubes to hinder the pregnancy process. Despite its high rating, it is not completely foolproof; there is still a small risk of getting pregnant. In case of any signs like missed periods or abnormal bleeding, be advised to consult a gynecologist so that a possible issue may be excluded.

Irregular period need to discuss
Female | 41
Irregular periods have symptoms of missed periods, like periods coming very often and lasting too long. Hormonal imbalances, stress, weight fluctuations, or health issues can cause this. Tracking periods on a calendar and consulting a gynecologist helps identify the reason and suitable treatment plan.

Missed periods and positive home tests show you're expecting. Early signs include feeling queasy, tired, sore breasts. These happen due to hormone changes. It's natural! Make an appointment with your gynecologist for prenatal care.

missed periods ...................................................................
Female | 19
Variant reasons can come up with missing menstruation, like stress, fluctuations in weight, or hormonal deficiencies that cause it. If you haven't had your period, try to watch for other symptoms that may have come along with it, such as headaches or mood swings. If you worry, it's better to go and talk to someone you feel secure with, such as a parent or school nurse, who can then show you what to do to be of better help to yourself.

Why is my LMP gestation is 38 weeks 4 days and gestation age by BPD /FL is 34 weeks
Female | 24
The Last Menstrual Period (LMP) calculates gestation from the start of your last period, while gestational age by Biparietal Diameter (BPD) or Femur Length (FL) measures the baby's size. The difference in weeks might be due to variations in fetal growth rates. Your obstetrician can provide more insight and guidance based on these measurements. It's always best to consult them for a clearer understanding of your pregnancy progress.

Doctor I’m worried if I have cancer I have bilateral endometrial cyst I did ca-125 which is 46.1 it is showing shd I do any further test and it is normal I have vit d deficiency as well
Female | 28
So let's make it clear that a bilateral endometrial cyst does not necessarily mean cancer. A CA-125 level of 46.1 could be slightly raised, but this is not a cancer marker test. People with endometrial cysts can feel pelvic pain as well as experience atypical bleeding. Poor Vitamin D levels are the most common, and this can be handled with vitamin supplements. You should consult a gynecologist for additional tests and treatments.

Can I still be pregnant if I have taken multiple tests (all came back negative) and I’m still 12 days late?
Female | 22
Missing a period is possible. It happens if the pregnancy hormone is low. Being late for 12 days could mean you're pregnant. Stress, weight changes, and hormone problems could also cause this. If you think you might be pregnant, wait. Take another test later. If still unsure, get a blood test. Blood tests are more accurate than home tests.

I had sex right after my periods just ended. And after sex for my peace of mind. i took a ipill at exact 45-47 hours. Are there chances of me getting pregnant or its all good?
Female | 24
The effectiveness of the i-pill reduces over time but taking it within 72 hours can help prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. Though, it isn't 100% reliable. Watch for symptoms like nausea or abnormal bleeding. If anything worrying happens, consult a gynecologist promptly.

3 month new born baby .mom was not breastfeeding because milk supply is low some times not coming .u tell me breast feeding is increasing milk supply.
Female | 25
Moms sometimes experience low milk supply. Though it may seem concerning, there are simple steps you can take. Nursing frequently sends a message to your body to produce more milk. Also, eating nutritious foods and drinking plenty of fluids aids production. Pay attention to your baby's hunger cues - these can stimulate increased supply. With time and commitment, your milk should increase, so try to relax and be patient.
