I had my last period on October 18th, and I had unprotected sex on October 26th. On November 24th, I took a pregnancy test, which showed two lines, confirming that I am pregnant. I want to terminate this pregnancy, and I am considering a home abortion using pills. However, I have some concerns because I had an iron deficiency and was taking iron tablets for about two to three months. Given this, is it safe for me to proceed with a home abortion by taking pills?
Female | 21
Iron deficiency can make different medical treatments more dangerous, including abortion pills. The main issue is increased bleeding, which is a dangerous effect of having low iron. Before taking home abortion pills, it is very important to consult a gynecologist. It may help you with iron and also show you the best choices for termination.

Hello, I'm 29 years trying to conceive and currently on my first cycle of letrozol 5mg per day. I started taking it on day 3 -7 of my cycle.I'm told to have sex on day 12,14 and 16. My period usually 10-14 days long. I'm currently still on my menstrual cycle, how does this work? How am I to have sex on day 12?
Female | 29
Letrozole is a drug that can cause your body to ovulate. Therefore, it is going to be easier for you to become pregnant. It is common practice to start taking it on days 3-7 of your period. You may still have sex on the 12th day of your cycle even if your period is usually regular for a long time.

Hi there , i need advice and help , my birth control showed dat my due period date was last month 29th april but istarted one day late then got my period but i keeo overthinking and making myself sick and feeling sick rather than that no pregnanvy symptoms , i dont know how to stop stressing im making myself sick and i keep thinking myself pregnant, i dont know if it is period or spotting but my period lasted four days and was dark brown almost like black with little bit of dark and bright red blood inbetween so is it my period? i took clear blue test two weeks after my period and it said im not pregnant at all but is it true, did i take it too late? am i okay? is there any need to stress cause i cant stop myself from overthinking . Also i got light broen discharge three weeks after my period or two weeks after and i had it for three days . Could it be mabe because i drank five birth control pills in one day and two plan bs in two days ? what help can you give me
Female | 16
variations in period flow and color are normal, and the dark brown blood you experienced could be older blood being discharged. Taking multiple birth control pills and emergency contraceptives can also affect your cycle. Since it's been two weeks since your period and the pregnancy test was negative, it's unlikely you're pregnant. Stress can symptoms like nausea, so try to relax and trust the test results. The light brown discharge you later experienced could be a result of hormonal changes from the medications you took. If you continue to feel unwell or anxious, seek guidance from a gynecologist.

I am a 27 year old female who has been on her period for 17 days. I still have my expired implant in unfortunately. I have Epsicaprom. How many sachets should i take and for how long
Female | 27
Epsicaprom is a drug that is popular among doctors to deal with heavy bleeding. In your case, take 2 sachets each day for 5 days. Epsicaprom functions like this: it inhibits bleeding. The expired implant might be the reason for the bleeding that has been ongoing for a long time. Remember, always check with your gynecologist before taking any of the medications.

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex for 4 days and he ejeculated inside me all those days and I took the plan b 5 days after it happened , can I be pregnant ?
Female | 24
Plan B is most effective when used as soon as possible after unprotected sex — preferably within 72 hours. It prevents pregnancy by postponing ovulation. However, it is essential to remember that it is not 100% effective. If you miss your period or notice any unusual symptoms, make sure to take a pregnancy test.

My boyfriend ejaculated inside of me but i took the emergency contraceptive pill within 30 minutes. Im scared whether i am pregnant or not

Since you have taken a pill immediately after intercourse, there might still be some chances of pregnancy. Take a home pregnancy test or a UPT for confirmation.

I am 23 yrs old and I have irregular periods I have sexual relation few days before and around 15day bleeding start on 1st day flow is heavy but now the flow is small have any problem
Female | 23
Irregular periods are not unusual in young women. Fifteen days after having sex bleeding could be caused by hormonal changes. Is the flow light now? This may be normal if it is. Keep track of your periods and see if they follow this same pattern. If you are worried, make a gynecologist's appointment so that you can talk it over with them in detail.

You are going through a rough patch with your menstrual cycle. Missing periods may be due to a variety of factors such as stress, weight fluctuations, or hormonal imbalances. The negative pregnancy tests are a positive outcome. Monitor your symptoms carefully and consult with a gynecologist to determine the cause of your missed periods and the appropriate treatment.

Hello there, this is sushmitha..im married 7 months ago...we are trying for a baby...i had hypo thyroid 2 months back it was cured but using 100mcg as now... this month i didnt get my period but getting white discharge, body pains, dizzy and feeling vomiting....is it a symptom of any infection or is it symptoms of pregnancy...im confused totally
Female | 25
The troubles you are feeling such as white discharge, pain all over your body, feeling faint, lack of recent period and desire to throw up might mean that you have an infection or are pregnant. The signs of disease are similar to those of pregnancy, so don't be shocked if it turns out that way but also keep in mind this other possibility. Take a pregnancy test at home if not to clear your doubts. Getting more advice from a gynecologist can also help.

Blood loss during pregnancy is not a good experience, yet it is important to keep calm. This might be a sign of a threatened miscarriage, which means that the pregnancy might be lost but not yet is the case. At times, it is difficult to notice the fetus in the ultrasound during the early stage of pregnancy. The positive pregnancy test indicates that you were indeed pregnant, however, it sometimes takes a long time to see the fetus on an ultrasound. If you're feeling anxious, it's better to talk to your gynecologist.

I am female 22 year old. I had laparoscopic surgery around 3 months ago on April 30th and I was on my periods at the time of surgery. After that my periods are getting worse everytime I am also experiencing severe insomnia since 1 month which worsen during periods
Female | 22
The reason for the worsening of your periods and insomnia may be the hormonal changes from the surgery or the stress that comes with it. Period insomnia is a common problem that women face. You may also want to learn how to help yourself. Perhaps you could try some relaxation techniques like deep breathing exercises or relaxation baths. If it does not resolve on its own, seek medical advice as the best way to deal with those problems may be to find the one most suitable for you.

In this case, you should see a fertility specialist who would diagnose and treat the problem. There is a possibility that your reproductive system was damaged by past cases of PID which caused infertility.
